Outside the village compound, the ground erupted with a deafening blast as a Fuma Jonin formed hand seals and unleashed an Earth Release technique.
The ground began to cave in, sinking deep underground like quicksand.
The turf on the surface, along with Yue standing atop it, was dragged down in an instant, as though he were about to be buried alive.
But just as Yue's figure was about to be swallowed by the vortex in the quicksand, a puff of white smoke suddenly burst forth, transforming into Sealing Wood.

The Fuma Jonin fighting him froze, instantly scanning the surroundings in an attempt to find Yue.
The next second, a terrifying curtain of wind swept in from one side, lashing the face of the man whose body was still half-hidden in the earth, leaving only his head exposed. It hurt so badly that he could not open his eyes.
For a moment, sand and stones flew everywhere, while the gale carried gravel that carved bloody wounds across his body.
Shortly afterward, just as the wind curtain faded, before the Fuma Jonin could focus his eyes and take a closer look, a black shadow was already standing behind him.
Then, a merciless kick flew out.
It immediately knocked this self-proclaimed "Jonin" unconscious, bloodied his face, and disfigured him in an instant.
Yue had challenged Fuma Ike to a duel. Since the latter was the current leader of the Fuma Clan, one Fuma Jonin had accepted Yue's challenge in order to teach this junior a lesson.
Yet in less than a few minutes, he had been defeated.
