Relying on her uniquely blessed temperament and appearance, Seele had faced Inaho-hime's pure eyes, and some of the things Inaho-hime had not wanted to say had more or less slipped out.
Though it was incomplete, putting those clues together... Seele had more or less gotten what she wanted.
Originally, aside from Amaterasu Omikami and the other gods at the very top of Takama-ga-hara, the other gods had nothing particularly important to do. They only needed to wait a little over a month to attend the Izumo Divine Assembly.
Although Ōkuninushi's Izumo was essentially a subordinate nation and divine system of Takama-ga-hara, apart from the few supreme deities, the other gods still had to give Ōkuninushi some face, especially those who wanted to operate in Izumo.
But some time ago, a great yokai... presumably Kanou, had suddenly broken in. As a result... a highly ranked god of Takama-ga-hara had been ambushed and killed by Kanou.
This was undoubtedly a slap in the face to the gods of Takama-ga-hara. For that reason, Amaterasu had directly sent all the gods without other duties down to the mortal world early to capture the culprit. Considering that the Izumo Divine Assembly was also about to begin, the gods could return to heaven after it ended.
So... with the gods descending to the mortal world during this period, one might very well run into a deity who had previously been almost impossible to meet.
Just like Inaho-hime, whom Seele had met today.
Inaho-hime generally stayed in Takama-ga-hara and rarely descended to the mortal world. In fact, most deities living in Takama-ga-hara rarely came down, unless they were gods who frequently descended in the first place, or simply did not live in Takama-ga-hara at all.
That did not even include the wild gods unrecognized by Takama-ga-hara.
