At that moment, Hiyamaru immediately gave up on rescuing Himeko and turned to face the charging Theresa. Hiyamaru spread her hands, and two clusters of Foxfire appeared in them. Just as she was about to hurl them at Theresa, Himeko's voice reached her ears. "Don't kill her."
"Understood!"
Hiyamaru eased up considerably before throwing the two fireballs.
At the same time, Himeko took a sharp breath, gathered the strength of her entire body, and forcibly shattered the chains around her. Theresa was currently unable to use Judah to restrain enemies that were too powerful.
Freed from the chains, Himeko gripped her greatsword and charged at the two Valkyries before her. Theresa had only just barely withstood Hiyamaru's Foxfire when, in the next instant... the spear in her hand was sent flying by a tremendous force. Then... pain exploded in her head, and she passed out.
With Theresa dealt with, the other A-rank Valkyrie was even less of a match for Himeko. When Himeko closed in on her... there was no suspense whatsoever. She was taken down in an instant...
She was not actually killed, though. Like Theresa, she was merely knocked unconscious.
