Seeing Himeko search for a long time without finding a way to open the elevator, Hiyamaru raised her little hand and spoke up.
"You? Then give it a try."
Hiyamaru did not look for any way to activate the elevator. Instead, she directly used her Herrscher powers to corrode the elevator...
Looking at the elevator doors that had finally opened before her, Himeko did not know what to say. That method was truly violent—or rather, Hiyamaru's ability was genuinely powerful. She could corrode anything.

Himeko and Hiyamaru brought the two unconscious Valkyries straight into the elevator.
This Tower of Babylon was fifty stories high, and the elevator ride would take some time. First, Himeko planned to check the central control room.
The elevator arrived in just a few minutes. Himeko gripped her greatsword and stepped out first. This place was equally empty, with nothing there, and it was very quiet... save for the sounds of a few machines operating.
Following the indicators around them, Himeko and Hiyamaru quickly found the central control room. However, Himeko could not understand the instruments inside at all. Although she had inherited Himeko's strength and some of her talents and skills, this was not one of them.
The unconscious Patrick beside them probably understood these things, but there was no need to wake her, because there was an even more convenient way.
"Hiyamaru... corrode this laboratory."
Would it not be more convenient to have Hiyamaru directly corrode and take control of the laboratory?

Hiyamaru nodded. In the next moment, her body suddenly turned into a mass of black mist and burrowed into the instruments before her.
Hiyamaru's corrosion
