Just as Zhao Baiyou was about to make a move, a scream rang out from somewhere nearby.
This was the middle of nowhere... Where had that person come from?
Zhao Baiyou froze, then hurriedly got to her feet... pulled on her socks and shoes, grabbed her blade, and headed over.

In this world, yokai looked down on Half-Demons, while humans rejected them. Every Half-Demon had a miserable fate.
"A Half-Demon..." The surrounded kimono girl looked at Yae Sakura. She had thought she was saved, only to find that the one who had come was also a yokai.
Though this yokai was very beautiful!
But now that she learned this beautiful yokai was actually a Half-Demon, she could not help but feel a strange flicker of hope.
"A Half-Demon? Indeed, I'm just a mere Half-Demon!" Yae Sakura did not mind upon hearing that. Setting aside the fact that Yae Sakura was not a Half-Demon, so what if she were?
Wasn't Nura Rikuo also a Half-Demon? He was still the Master of Yokai.
"A mere Half-Demon brat dares to act so arrogantly? Capture her!"
An ogre roared, its blue face and fanged maw radiating an invisible terror.
Several yokai headed straight toward Yae Sakura.
"Humph!"
Though Yae Sakura looked unconcerned as she watched the approaching yokai, she was actually terrified. Although she possessed the strength of an SSS-rank Witch of the Fallen, Yae Sakura had never faced the legendary yokai before!
