Xu Jingyao negotiated with the Ordinary Alliance and warned Tang Wulin about Mingdu’s dangerous factions before encountering Ye Guyi fighting several Evil Soul Masters. As Ye Guyi neared defeat, Xu Jingyao released his martial soul and prepared to intervene.

• Xu Jingyao accepted Shangguan Wei'er’s proposed sixty-forty profit split and told her to send someone to his residence to discuss the details.

Xu Jingyao and Shadow Douluo followed Huo Yuhao into the Star Dou Great Forest, where he fought a Wind Baboon and collapsed after reaching the forest’s depths. A Sky Dream Ice Silkworm appeared, its immense spiritual pressure overwhelming Shadow Douluo while Xu Jingyao pretended to pass out.

• Xu Jingyao and Shadow Douluo secretly followed Huo Yuhao from Star Luo City toward the Star Dou Great Forest.

• Xu Jingyao offered the Sky Dream Ice Silkworm a path to godhood in exchange for becoming his pet, and Tian Meng agreed.
• Tian Meng sacrificed his Origin and spiritual power into Xu Jingyao, whose Soul Power rose to level 49 as his Sea of Consciousness overwhelmed the silkworm with divine auras.

• Xu Jingyao told Tang Ya to send mass-production Hidden Weapon prototypes to a Carefree Pavilion branch if she wanted to pursue cooperation, and Tang Ya accepted that the Tang Sect had little leverage.

• Mu En asked the Golden Tree about the unusual aura over Sea God Lake, and it identified Xu Jingyao as its source.
• The Golden Tree told Mu En that Xu Jingyao was tied to Douluo’s life and should be treated well.
