At Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters, a supersonic jet quickly landed. The hatch opened, and Cyclops wheeled Professor X off the plane. Jean Grey, dressed in a white lab coat, had already been waiting for quite some time.
"Professor, where's our new companion?"
Seeing only Cyclops and the professor come off the plane, Jean Grey asked curiously. She was very curious about someone of their kind who could stir even "her" and hoped to meet him, but the new companion she had been waiting for had not arrived.
"We were too late. Jean, prepare Cerebro!" Professor X said quickly. He was going to get serious. He had to find Xia Zuo.
Before, Professor X would not have been in such a hurry, but after learning some frightening things from Natasha's mind, he had immediately grown anxious.
He knew how much potential Xia Zuo had. This was a power that had stirred the being inside Jean Grey, which showed just how great Xia Zuo's potential was. But he had also seen some horrifying things in Natasha's mind.
Decisive in killing, Xia Zuo had slaughtered hundreds of soldiers in a trap without hesitation, staining his hands with plenty of blood. He was just like someone Professor X remembered: his close buddy Magneto. Still, Professor X felt Xia Zuo was worth saving. After all, what had happened at the Orphanage had not been Xia Zuo taking the initiative to attack; Hydra's people had come to his door.
If he had not attacked first, then he had been defending himself, which meant Xia Zuo might very well be a good person. That was the shred of hope Professor X held on to!
Of course, Professor X had another thought as well. If Xia Zuo really was the sort of mutant who was evil by nature, he could bring Xia Zuo under control immediately. Otherwise, Xia Zuo could easily cause tremendous destruction. After all, the Xia Zuo he had seen in Natasha's memories was someone who acted without restraint!
So, all Professor X wanted now was to find Xia Zuo as quickly as possible. Everything else could wait.
Soon, Professor X reached the school's basement and put on Cerebro's helmet. His psychic power activated instantly, reaching out to places everywhere.
Inside a luxurious villa, a young-looking child in a casual bathrobe lay leisurely in the swimming pool. Beneath his bangs, his mismatched eyes looked particularly deep. This was Xia Zuo, who had finished dealing with Hydra.
After leaving Hydra's base, Xia Zuo had picked a wealthy man at random. With a little manipulation, he had quietly moved into this villa.
Of course, Xia Zuo had no intention of living here for long. He was only going to rest here for a few days. After all, the trouble with Hydra had kept his nerves taut for some time, and now that it was resolved, he was exhausted.
That was only natural. Strictly speaking, Xia Zuo was only six years old. Even though his thinking was close to an adult's, his body could not take it, so he was using this villa to get some rest.
But at that very instant, Xia Zuo suddenly felt an intense pressure. His half-closed eyes snapped open, and he looked all around!
"Child, there's no need to be afraid. I'm one of your own!"

"You're Professor X? Why did you seek me out? And what do you want to do?"
Xia Zuo spoke coldly, narrowing his eyes. He instantly realized who the voice that had suddenly appeared in his mind belonged to!
How could he not know the famous Professor X? Speaking with the renowned professor was a scene Xia Zuo had imagined before, but right now, he was not very willing.
Because if Professor X could speak to him from a distance, that meant Professor X's mind had invaded his own!
This was what Xia Zuo feared most. After all, his memories contained quite a few things related to this world, as well as information about the Ultimate Eye. He did not want Professor X to see them. That could have terrifying consequences.
"You must have awakened a special ability today, child. Don't be afraid. It isn't some frightening power. It's your own power, and I can teach you how to use it."
"Since you know my name, you should know about the school I founded. I invite you to join my school."
Professor X's voice continued to appear in Xia Zuo's mind, inviting him to attend Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters. That was his goal.
Professor X was not surprised at all that Xia Zuo knew of his existence. In Natasha's memories, he had already seen that Xia Zuo could control human minds. Perhaps Xia Zuo had heard about him somewhere. That also saved him the trouble of explaining, so Professor X did not give it much thought.
"I know, but I refuse!" Xia Zuo rejected him outright without a moment's thought.
"And I won't let you invade my mind again!"
Xia Zuo spoke coldly. His mismatched eyes, purple on the left and gold on the right, instantly turned fluorescent red. The inverted V-shaped Geass symbol was immediately reflected on the pool's surface.
"Do not allow the mind of any living being to invade my mind!"
In an instant, the Geass symbol shone, and the contract was established. The target Xia Zuo had applied this contract to was himself!
The power of Geass worked on people, but it also had a hidden use: building a mental firewall for oneself. All he had to do was give an order to his own reflection.
Lelouch had also done this to himself before, using the power of Geass to give himself a particular command to achieve a particular goal. This was another ingenious use of the Geass Eye.
"Child, child, listen to me..."
Professor X's voice came urgently, but it grew fainter and fainter until it vanished from Xia Zuo's mind entirely. Professor X's mind had been completely expelled from Xia Zuo's!
As for why Xia Zuo had refused him outright, he might have considered it before, but the moment Professor X invaded his mind without him noticing, Xia Zuo's thinking changed completely. He not only resisted the idea but had become extremely wary!

Although Professor X's character was trustworthy in the movies, this was reality. Nothing was absolute. He could not trust Professor X completely. Besides, Xia Zuo was not in the habit of putting his life and everything he had into someone else's hands just because he trusted them.
It was better to keep his own life under his own control!
