Hearing this, Xue Fuyao nodded. She looked ahead, toward the dark clouds high overhead. Just then, a black speck fell, leaving a deep crater in the ground.
Such craters were everywhere on the Wind-Thunder Plains.
Seeing this, Xue Fuyao asked, "When did the Wind-Thunder Plains become like this?"
"It seems to have started half a year ago. For some reason, the lightning suddenly grew stronger. The clouds over the Wind-Thunder Plains used to be gray, and you could even see the sun when the weather was good. But now..."
As Bai Xi spoke, she glanced at the sky...
Hearing this, Xue Fuyao said nothing, merely looking into the depths of the Wind-Thunder Plains.
She did not believe a place that had been "peaceful" for years would suddenly change. Normally, for a place like the Wind-Thunder Plains to undergo such a drastic change, something must have happened within it that affected the entire plains.
But the Wind-Thunder Plains were too vast. Even with her Heavenly Eye, she could not determine exactly where the anomaly lay. It seemed she would have to wait until she actually entered the Wind-Thunder Plains to take another look.
While she was thinking, a group of people approached them from a distance.
Seeing them, the Waystation owner gave a sharp kick, flinging away the man clinging to his leg like a stubborn plaster, then walked toward the group with a fawning smile.
"You've come at just the right time. There are only a few places left aboard the Wind-Thunder Divine Boat."
"When do we leave?" one of them asked.
"We're leaving right away," the Waystation owner said.
"Why did it have to be them?" Bai Xi muttered with a frown.
Hearing her, Xue Fuyao turned to look at her and asked, "Do you know them?"
Bai Xi
