Wanda's Precision Cutting, Mutants Uprooted
"The old woman from Asgard."
These six words, like a red-hot branding iron, were fiercely seared onto Hela's supreme dignity as Deity.
The dark green Death Energy that surged from her palm, about to envelop the entire Academy and erode the souls of all Mutants, suddenly froze in mid-air.
Hela slowly, inch by inch, turned her perfect yet cold face. The playful cruelty in her dark green eyes, which had been like a cat playing with a mouse, was quickly replaced by a deeper and more violent killing intent.
She stared at the boiling, Scarlet Chaos, and within it, the mortal Witch who dared to challenge her.
"A mere mortal girl who has just learned to play with fire," Hela's voice deepened, each word seeming to be squeezed from beneath a millennium-old glacier, carrying a chilling aura, "Dares to discuss the value of the 'collection' in front of me?"
"At least I won't be like some barbarians who would smash exquisite porcelain to a foul stench in the crudest way." Wanda's figure emerged completely from the Scarlet Energy, hovering at the same height as Hela, her Scarlet eyes filled with undisguised mockery and hostility.
Her gaze swept lightly over the land below, soon to be contaminated, her tone growing increasingly icy. "What Lynn wants are complete, clean assets that can immediately generate value, not a bunch of rotten flesh, corroded by the Aura of Death, mentally broken, and half-dead."
"Your so-called 'branding' is nothing but squandering his property!"
"You!"
Hela was completely enraged.
The word "property" coming from Wanda's mouth is the most blatant provocation against her!
She is Lynn's queen, as Lynn himself acknowledged! These Mutants are a gift she presented to the king! How she deals with this gift is her prerogative!
In her rage, the deathly black clouds surrounding Hela churned violently, the Night Sky Sword hovering in the heavens hummed, and an even greater amount of Death Energy erupted from her body. This time, she held nothing back, preparing to drag the clamorous Witch below and all of them into the realm of death!
However, Wanda didn't give her that chance at all.
Just as Hela's rage was about to escalate into a destructive act, Wanda made her move.
She didn't even glance at the enraged Hela, instead focusing her Scarlet eyes intently on the massive Mutants Academy below.
"That's really... rude."
She murmured softly, as if lamenting the impending destruction of a work of art.
Then, she raised her slender right hand, her five fingers spread, her palm pointing towards the vast area where Xavier Institute was located.
It lacked the terrifying, overwhelming presence of Hela, and there was no earth-shattering energy convergence.
Wanda's movements were as gentle as conducting a symphony.
Buzz--
A faint, yet seemingly soul-piercing, buzzing sound rang out.
Strands of Scarlet Energy, finer than a strand of hair, flowed from her palms like living red threads. They didn't shoot into the sky or towards Hela, but rather seeped silently into the land beneath the Academy like a gentle spring rain.
The next second, something unexpected happened!
Centered on the main building of the Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters, deep, Scarlet- glowing cutting lines appeared out of thin air on the ground within a radius of several kilometers!
These cutting lines were incredibly precise; they perfectly bypassed the foundations of every building, followed the edges of the lawns, traced the contours of the woodland paths, and even included Professor Charles Xavier's most beloved rose garden without a single miscalculation.
The entire process was conducted without a single vibration or a speck of dust.
It's as if a top-tier surgeon, whose skill has reached the realm of the gods, is using the most precise Scalpel to perfectly divide a huge cake.
Inside the Academy's Main Control Room, Scott Summers, Ororo, and the others, who had just struggled to their feet, stared blankly at the bizarre scene outside the window, their minds completely blank.
They didn't understand what was happening.
But the fear that emanated from the depths of their souls, even stronger than when they faced Hela, made them forget to breathe.
"What is she... doing?" a young mutant student asked, trembling.
No one answered him.
Because the answer was revealed in the next moment.
After completing all the "cutting," Wanda gently raised her fair palm upwards, facing downwards.
Rumble rumble rumble--!!!
This time, it won't be silent.
The entire earth emitted a muffled, unbearable roar!
Before the X-Men's unforgettable, utterly horrified gazes, the vast expanse of land, perfectly cut out by the Scarlet threads and encompassing the entire Academy and a large area of surrounding land, began to tremble violently!
Then, it... slowly... rose up!
Yes, it's risen!
Along with the magnificent teaching building, the spacious Landing Pad, the lush green grass, the dense forest, and the cemetery that buried countless Mutants pioneers... everything was forcibly stripped from the physical surface of the earth by an irresistible and terrifying force!
No! No!!
Scott Summers let out a desperate roar. He could feel the ground beneath his feet lifting him away, and the entire building was rising into the sky in a way that defied all the laws of physics!
Above, the deathly mist released by Hela, representing enslavement and corruption, was already close at hand.
At that moment, Wanda simply frowned impatiently.
She casually waved her hand at the dark green Death Energy.
It was as if they were just shooing away an annoying fly.
laugh--
That dense Death Energy, powerful enough to erode even the souls of Deity, was utterly powerless to resist the moment it came into contact with the Scarlet magic emanating from Wanda. It was like ice and snow exposed to sunlight, instantly evaporated and Oblivion, leaving not a trace behind!
"..."
On the other side of the sky, Hela, who was preparing to watch the Mutants being enslaved by death, suddenly had her pupils shrink.
She watched helplessly as her Death Force was easily erased, and watched as the Academy she should have trampled underfoot was completely and unharmedly uprooted by the Witch in a way she couldn't understand, yet which was filled with extreme humiliation!
At this moment, the massive Mutants Academy had completely detached from the ground and was suspended hundreds of meters in the air.
It's like a city in the sky, an aerial Bastion imprisoned in an invisible cage.
Scarlet Chaos Magic gathered below the Academy into a massive energy vortex, steadily supporting this vast land, without even a single leaf falling.
After Wanda finished doing all this, she finally turned her gaze back to Hela, whose face was ashen.
A triumphant, defiant smile played on her lips.
"See that? Old woman."
"This is the correct way to treat the owner's collection."
"It can both ensure the integrity of the assets and make them clearly aware of who their new owner is."
"And you," Wanda's smile grew even brighter, but the contempt in her tone became increasingly biting, "You only know how to make a mess of everything, like a butcher."
The ultimate humiliation!
This is not just about how to handle the spoils; it's a naked display and crushing of "ability" and "aesthetics"!
Wanda's actions proved to Hela, and also to Lynn in New York, that --
She, the Scarlet Witch, possesses more than just the power of destruction.
What she possesses is a god-like level of micromanagement that defines reality, manipulates physics, and far surpasses that of this old Asgard woman!
The interior of the Academy, uprooted and suspended in mid-air, was deathly silent.
All the Mutants, including Scott Summers and Ororo, sat slumped on the ground like soulless puppets.
Our homeland... was taken away entirely as spoils of war.
They... were treated as collectibles and displayed to an unknown "owner".
Dignity, pride, faith... all were crushed to pieces in this moment.
Endless humiliation and despair overwhelmed Scott Summers's reason like a tidal wave. He suddenly raised his head, looked out the window at the two women in the sky who were manipulating them in their struggle for favor, and a surge of anger rose wildly in his chest!
I'd rather die than suffer this humiliation!
Scott Summers Summers, the leader of the X-Men, made the craziest decision of his life at this moment.
Trembling yet with unwavering resolve, he raised his hand and reached for his glasses, crafted from Ruby Quartz and designed to suppress his destructive power.
