Chaos and death's struggle, treating mutants as
The biting chill didn't come from the cold winds high above, but from a shiver deep within the soul.
Ororo Monroe slumped onto the cold alloy floor, feeling four waves of energy, even more corrosive than Absolute Zero, emanating wildly from Scott Summers was pinned to the ground.
That's not just energy; that's death itself.
The dark green Death Energy, like a living, poisonous vine, greedily spread outwards from the wound that the Night Sky Sword had pierced through Scott Summers. Wherever it passed, a thin layer of black frost with withered patterns condensed on the solid alloy floor.
A few Death Energy, like Vulture smelling blood, drifted toward a young Mutants was unconscious not far away.
"No..." Ororo let out a hoarse, almost inaudible cry of grief.
She wanted to stand up, to summon Thunder to shatter the ominous mist, but Hela's previous aura had already crushed her will. Every bit of strength in her body seemed to have been drained, and even moving a finger had become a luxury.
discipline.
Demonstration.
Above the sky, Hela, the Goddess of Death in black, was admiring her masterpiece with an almost ecstatic gaze. Her punishment of Scott Summers was not only a declaration of her absolute dominance to all Mutants, but also an undisguised display of "efficiency" to the Scarlet Witch on the other side of the sky.
See, this is my way.
Simple, direct, and effective.
Any resistance will be crushed.
Hela's lips curled into a cruel and triumphant smile. She could already imagine how Lynn would praise her decisiveness and domineering nature when she packed up these completely tamed "assets" and brought them back to New York.
However, her smugness lasted less than a second.
"Tsk."
A soft, yet incredibly clear, smacking sound, filled with disgust and impatience, shattered the victor's tranquility.
Hela's smile froze instantly.
She slowly turned her head, her dark green eyes like two drawn blades, locking onto the figure suspended in the Scarlet Chaos.
Wanda.
At this moment, the Scarlet Witch was slightly frowning as she looked down at the spreading Death Energy, her eyes filled with disgust, as if she had seen a filthy cockroach crawling into a plate of exquisite top-quality sashimi.
"You call this 'handling'?"
Wanda's voice wasn't loud, but it was like a resounding slap across Hela's face.
"What are you doing? Polluting Lynn's collection with the stench of your Asgard toilets that's been lingering for thousands of years?"
"You!" The dark clouds surrounding Hela trembled violently, and her anger flared up instantly.
"What about me?" Wanda retorted without backing down, her gaze sweeping over the young Mutants threatened by the Death Energy before finally settling on Scott Summers, who was pinned to the ground. Her tone grew increasingly sarcastic. "Lynn wants living, usable, intact assets! Not defective products, half-dead from your Death Force, their Genes sequences potentially mutated and degraded!"
"Look what you've done, you old woman! Your brutal punishments are causing the value of these assets to... depreciate rapidly!"
Boom!
Every word Wanda uttered was like a heavy hammer, striking Hela's nerves with devastating force.
"Devaluation"?
"Defective product"?
These words, coming from the mouth of this mortal Witch, are the most vicious insult to her Deity dignity!
"A little girl who can't even control her own power dares to tell me what to do?" Hela laughed angrily, the murderous intent in her voice almost tangible. "How I dispose of the offerings to the king is my right!"
"Sacrificial offerings?" Wanda laughed, a laugh filled with pity and disdain. "You still think these are yours?"
"Wrong."
"From the moment Lynn set his sights on them, they belonged only to Lynn."
"And you," Wanda's Scarlet eyes narrowed slightly, emphasizing each word, "Are just a lousy, incompetent porter who messed things up."
The moment she finished speaking, Wanda moved.
She didn't even bother with any more verbal arguments with Hela, but instead used the most direct action to announce the start of this battle for "Custody Rights."
She stretched out her right hand towards Scott Summers, who was pinned down below.
Buzz--
There was no earth-shattering display, only wisps of Scarlet Energy, finer than Silk, flowing from her fingertips as if they were alive.
They didn't attack Hela, nor did they try to dispel the Death Energy. Instead, with incredible precision, they directly wrapped around Scott Summers's body.
The next second, in Hela's suddenly contracting pupils, the Scarlet energy threads tightened abruptly, transforming into dozens of incredibly tough Chaos Chain!
Splash--
The sound of taut chains was particularly jarring in the silent Main Control Room.
"Ah--!"
Scott Summers let out a painful groan. He felt as if he were being grabbed by dozens of invisible hands, and an irresistible force came from all directions, forcibly pulling his nailed body up from the floor... alive!
The four Night Sky Sword, formed from Hela's divine power, hummed under the violent strain of the Chaos Chain!
You dare!
Hela was absolutely enraged!
This isn't just provocation, it's blatant robbery! They're taking her spoils right in front of her!
"Stop!"
Hela shouted sharply, and with a thought, the four Night Sky Sword that were pinning Scott Summers down instantly shone with a bright black light, and an even denser Death Energy burst forth, attempting to completely merge Scott Summers with the floor and resist the pulling force from the Chaos Magic.
On one side is the confinement that represents death.
On one side is the plundering that represents Chaos.
Caught in the middle, Scott Summers Summers, the once high-ranking leader of the X-Men, has now been reduced to a tool, a bargaining chip, a tug-of-war rope used by two Deity to wrestle!
His body was being torn apart by two completely different and terrifying forces, making a sickeningly painful sound as his bones dislocated. The extreme pain made his vision go black, and his consciousness began to blur.
But he did not faint.
Because he could clearly see that Ororo, and the surviving X-Men, were looking at him with a mixture of horror, humiliation, grief, and... numbness in their eyes.
They looked at him as if he were a toy placed on a chopping board.
At that moment, Scott Summers finally understood.
In the eyes of these beings, they are not even... human.
"Let go! This is my gift to the king!" Hela's roar exploded in the sky, her Death Force surging wildly.
"Shut up, butcher! You'll only ruin him!" Wanda's voice was icy cold, and the Scarlet light on the Chaos Chain burned even brighter. "Lynn's assets will be in my custody!"
Two forces of Skyfather-level power have completely broken off all pretense of civility in their struggle for ownership of a "toy"!
The raging Death Force and the Chaos Magic that warps reality clashed most fiercely and primally, centered on Scott Summers's body!
Click! Click!
The Academy buildings, suspended in mid-air, could no longer withstand this level of energy conflict.
The alloy floor beneath Scott Summers, like a piece of paper being torn apart by two invisible giant hands, instantly cracked open with hideous fissures!
The walls are twisting, the ceiling is wailing!
The entire Sky City, uprooted from its foundations, began to shake and tremble violently! Large chunks of building debris tore off from the edges of the Academy, plummeting with a desperate howl into the bottomless void below!
Panic screams echoed throughout the room.
The young Mutants students, tossed about violently by the turbulent ride, watched helplessly as their homeland teetered on the brink of collapse amidst the rivalry between two Deity.
They... are going to destroy this place!
They're going to destroy everyone!
Caught in the eye of the storm, the X-Men were plunged into an endless Abyss of despair where even death became a luxury.
Meanwhile, far away in New York, on the top floor of the Baxter Building.
Lynn sat upright on the "God Throne" pieced together from the Negative Zone Energy Matrix and the remains of the Cerebro, his eyes slightly closed.
His consciousness, through that global Psychic Network, was indifferently "observing" this farce unfolding over Westchester County...
The arguments between Wanda and Hela, every clash of their energies, and every desperate scream of the Mutants were all vividly reflected in his mind.
He could sense that the Academy, which Wanda had lifted up, was on the verge of collapse.
If this continues, in less than three minutes, this "asset package," along with all the "assets" within it, will turn into cosmic dust.
Lynn's brow furrowed almost imperceptibly.
The game is over.
