Ch. 241Return to the Wasteland, Different Flows of Time

After completing the Goblin Great Shaman City Platform World mission, Ye Qiyan discovered that far less time had passed in the Wasteland than in the station. A mysterious pillar of light appeared in the train's path, and Ye Qiyan unleashed his strongest abilities as he ordered the train to ram it.

  • Ye Qiyan crafted a White Mental Energy Potion, then spent a day and a half clearing monsters from the human duchies' cities for payment.
  • Ye Qiyan completed the station objectives with an S rating and received a Goblin Bone Staff, which he decided not to use himself.
  • Ye Qiyan departed as the natives watched, then discovered that the Wasteland's thunderstorm still raged and his pocket watch showed an earlier time.
  • Ye Qiyan realized time flowed at different rates in the Platform World and the Wasteland, and that he could not enter the next station until the following midnight.
  • A pale-blue pillar of light blocked Ye Qiyan's train and sent tendrils toward it, so he activated the train's armament, empowered Eve, summoned allies, and ordered a Transcendence Warhead ram.

Ch. 242[Talisman That Breaks All Methods]

Ye Qiyan and his allies destroyed the pillar of light and recovered the spiral dagger that had nearly shattered the train’s drill. He learned the dagger could break mysteries, spells, seals, barriers, and anomalies, and considered using it to open the Sealing Box when it was safe.

  • Eve, the Hunt, Red Tears, and the train’s drill weakened the pillar of light, while Red Tears’s Battlefield Manifestation cut it down further.
  • As the drill began to break against the ornate dagger, Lisette used her Clockwork Star’s Hour Hand to clear the remaining pillar and end the storm.
  • Ye Qiyan stopped the train in the clear weather and had WALL-E retrieve the dagger from where it had been embedded in the pillar.
  • Ye Qiyan appraised the dagger and learned it was called Talisman That Breaks All Methods and could break any mystery, spell, seal, barrier, or anomaly.
  • Ye Qiyan retrieved Monrojina’s Sealing Box but decided to wait for a safer opportunity before using the dagger to open it.

Ch. 243The One Who Supplied Her with Information / Storm Eye Stone

Ye Qiyan arranged with Monrojina to visit Solo City and obtained information about rare potion ingredients while Galo threatened her. After using Ascension on Wind Element's Gratitude, he created the Storm Eye Stone and planned to head to Solo City the next day, just as the leader of the Terrorist Organization invited him to another activity.

  • Ye Qiyan asked Monrojina about Solo City and offered to pay her to find the fengyue flower for his potion.
  • Monrojina faced Galo, who demanded that she hand over the seal, but the Supervisory Court arrived and disrupted his attack.
  • Monrojina revealed that the Vice President of the Supervisory Court had been supplying her with information and planned to eventually make Solo City belong to the Supervisory Court.
  • Ye Qiyan used Ascension on Wind Element's Gratitude, turning it into a Storm Eye Stone that could create a barrier around his train.
  • Ye Qiyan planned to visit Solo City the next day, but the leader of the Terrorist Organization invited him to another activity.

Ch. 244Twenty-fifth stop: Solo City, absolutely no trouble!

Ye Qiyan refused Zhuxing Tu’s invitation to hunt a Demon Card in the Sky Garden, while Zhuxing Tu turned to Shaya for help. Luisa prepared to bring RUN Company to Solo City and trade native workers for political influence; Ye chose an unknown station inside the Solo City Judgment Court, hoping to collect a Potion and avoid trouble.

  • Zhuxing Tu told Ye Qiyan about a Demon Card in the Sky Garden and tried to recruit him for an activity, but he refused because he did not want to help her cause trouble.
  • Zhuxing Tu admitted she had released her Bad Luck and borrowed luck from a senior, then ended the conversation and invited Shaya to help kill the god in the Sky Garden.
  • Luisa told Russell to prepare RUN Company for a visit to Solo City, intending to sell obedient natives in exchange for a seat on the city’s future council.
  • Luisa revealed that she planned to venture into the Wasteland after the trip and carried a Blasphemy Card fragment.
  • Ye Qiyan chose Solo City as his twenty-fifth stop and selected the unknown station inside the Judgment Court, intending to collect a Potion and leave without trouble.

Ch. 245The station no one knew

Ye Qiyan explored a tiny, sealed station beneath a false starry sky and discovered a diary and supplies connected to Zhou Shangqing’s failed attempt to cross the Wasteland. After collecting the valuable items, he found the exit and entered an icy lake, protected by the Astral Sacred Crest.

  • Ye Qiyan stepped off the train at a small station whose starry sky proved to be a low ceiling, then explored it with his companions.
  • Ye Qiyan found Zhou Shangqing’s diary, which revealed that Zhou had believed the Wasteland never ended and felt crushed by others’ expectations.
  • When Ye Qiyan said the Wasteland never ended, a mechanism opened a passage beneath the room, and Lisette confirmed the underground space was safe.
  • Ye Qiyan found and collected a Level 11 sanity elixir, Rampaging Coal Residue, and a Fallen Stardust Fragment.
  • Ye Qiyan found the station’s exit, stored the train in the Matrix, and passed through into icy lake water as the Astral Sacred Crest protected him and Lisette.

Ch. 246You've Already Entered a High-Level Platform?

Ye Qiyan returned to the war-damaged Judgment Court and met Monrojina to collect the Potion being made from the black stone tablet fragment. When he asked about the mysterious pillar of light in the Wasteland, Monrojina realized he could enter a High-Level Platform and questioned whether he was truly a Train Conductor from this batch.

  • Ye Qiyan showed his Third-Rank Adjudicator medal to Wei Yan, who escorted him toward the Chief Inquisitor's Throne.
  • Wei Yan told Ye Qiyan that the Judgment Court had endured several conflicts and that the Supervisory Court had helped save its Floating Courtyard.
  • Ye Qiyan entered the Chief Inquisitor's Throne and found Monrojina waiting with the embryonic Potion, which still needed time to transform.
  • Monrojina offered to answer Ye Qiyan's questions using the Ritual Card: Three Questions.
  • Ye Qiyan asked Monrojina about the pillar of light that attacked the train in the Wasteland, and she asked if he could already enter a High-Level Platform.
  • Ye Qiyan admitted he could enter one, prompting Monrojina to ask whether he was really a Train Conductor from this batch.

Ch. 247Three Questions, the Nascent Potion of Blood and Spirit

Ye Qiyan asked Monrojina about the Plunderer, Zhou Shangqing, and the Fengyue Flower, then prepared his blood-bound Spirit Potion. He infused a trace of spirit into the unfinished potion, which still had nearly three hours to brew.

  • Monrojina explained that the pillar of light was a Plunderer that stole items or talents, and Ye Qiyan kept quiet about having destroyed it.
  • Ye Qiyan asked about Zhou Shangqing, and Monrojina described him as a famous, well-liked Train Conductor who had tried to cross the Wasteland and departed from Solo City's original Third-Floor Guild Residence.
  • Monrojina said she had found the Fengyue Flower and gave Ye Qiyan a High-Level Maintenance Voucher after learning his train had already been maintained once.
  • Monrojina told Ye Qiyan to add the blood of the potion's intended drinker, so he pricked his finger with the Eternal Cutter and let a drop enter the potion.
  • Ye Qiyan's appraisal identified the mixture as a nascent unknown potion and suggested adding spirit, so he secretly infused it with a fine stream of azure light.

Ch. 248The Potion's Changes / Meeting Russell Again

Ye Qiyan left the Judgment Court and shopped with Lisette and Red Tears while waiting for his train, then ran into Russell, who revealed a plan to destroy the Judgment Court. Ye Qiyan offered to review the plan and asked Russell for details about the mission and its participants.

  • Monrojina found that the Potion Brewing Module could not connect to the nascent Potion and suspected Ye Qiyan’s blood had caused the change.
  • Monrojina wondered whether Ye Qiyan was special and considered what recompense she might receive after repaying her karmic debt.
  • Ye Qiyan visited a clothing store on Solo City’s Third Floor and bought new outfits for Lisette and Red Tears.
  • Russell recognized Ye Qiyan in the store and told him that his boss had brought several dozen natives to destroy the Judgment Court and claim a seat on the city council.
  • Ye Qiyan asked Russell to bring him the detailed plan and a list of the mission’s participants so he could review them for the boss.

Ch. 249A Childishly Absurd Plan

Ye Qiyan learned that RUN Company planned to attack the Judgment Court and brought Russell’s plan to Monrojina. She recognized it as a fake plan containing some real elements, including an attempt to send native Train Conductors into the Court in nonhuman forms.

  • Russell gave Ye Qiyan RUN Company’s plan to seal the Judgment Court’s Floating Island, weaken its defenders, and kill them with poison gas.
  • Ye Qiyan praised the plan to Russell while privately recognizing its many flaws and warning him to return without attracting attention.
  • Russell paid for Ye Qiyan’s clothes and left, while Ye Qiyan realized he needed to tell Monrojina about the suspicious plan.
  • Ye Qiyan returned to the Judgment Court and showed the plan to Monrojina, who said it was fake but that native Train Conductors really would enter the Court in nonhuman forms.

Ch. 250Their true plan

Monrojina showed Ye Qiyan a vision revealing Camelin Galo and Grace's plan to use a god and Apostles of Decay to attack her and the Judgment Court. The Potion was completed as an ominous sound rang over Solo City, leaving Ye Qiyan with the red-and-blue Potion before him.

  • Monrojina used The Past of Man Ritual Card to show Ye Qiyan a scene of Camelin Galo questioning Grace about their plan to attack Monrojina and the Judgment Court.
  • Grace explained that a god could enter through Substitute Rights Cubes and that Galo should use the opportunity to kill a high-level Card Sequence holder while the Imperial Sequence Organization was likely absent.
  • Monrojina told Ye Qiyan she had obtained the information with help from the Chief Grand Inquisitor, but he said he was not curious about her plans and intended to leave after getting the Potion.
  • Monrojina studied Ye Qiyan's extraordinary growth, while Lisette stepped between them and shielded him from her gaze.
  • The system announced that Ye Qiyan's Potion was ready, and a red Potion threaded with blue light appeared before him as an unnamed sound echoed above Solo City.

Ch. 251[Potion·Ø]

Ye Qiyan drank a Potion transformed by his spirit, triggering a divine attack that the Train System repelled. He woke surrounded by his Card Sequences, and Monrojina discovered his complete Blasphemy Card and prepared to repay the Karmic Chains on her Ritual Card.

  • Ye Qiyan's spirit transformed the Potion into one exclusive to him, and he drank it, gaining increased spirit capacity and recovery along with an enhanced Talent.
  • Ye Qiyan collapsed in pain as a red system Light Screen warned intruders against interfering with a Train Conductor; the system struck down a being fleeing from the sky.
  • Galo concluded the incident came from the direction of the Judgment Court, ordered his plan begun early, and told Grace to contact the god she trusted.
  • Ye Qiyan woke on Lisette's thighs, surrounded by his Card Sequences, including a dark golden Blasphemy Card that had shielded him.
  • Monrojina revealed that her [Cause and Effect Recompense] card now held ten Karmic Chains and asked Ye Qiyan how he wanted her to repay him.

Ch. 252The Curtain Rises, a God Takes Possession

Ye Qiyan tried to leave Solo City, but the Homecomers' plan brought the Apostles of Decay to the Judgment Court. Russell became the vessel for the god Decay, and Monrojina began her ritual to fight him as Ye Qiyan watched.

  • Monrojina told Ye Qiyan that she had to complete the ritual herself, and he gained enough spirit to use the Talisman That Breaks All Methods.
  • Ye Qiyan warned Russell to leave Solo City, then went to the Judgment Court station to depart.
  • Gray-White Humanoids attacked the Judgment Court, and Russell slipped inside carrying the Advanced Substitute Rights Cube.
  • An unknown arrow killed Russell, whose transformed body became the vessel for the god Decay.
  • Monrojina began the Lockdown ritual, and her power collided with Decay as Ye Qiyan watched for the Curse Card's owner and RUN Company's boss.

Ch. 253A Lunatic, Laian

Holmes Lane pulled Ye Qiyan into the conflict while using a Game Card to trap Camelin Galo in Russian Roulette. When Luisa sent a heavily modified fighter to kill Ye Qiyan, he empowered Eve and prepared Ebony to judge the attacker.

  • Holmes Lane summoned a RUN Company train and used Russian Roulette to drag Camelin Galo into a separate space.
  • Lane told Ye Qiyan to survive until he won, leaving Ye Qiyan furious at being forced into the conflict.
  • Luisa ordered a bronze-skinned fighter to kill Ye Qiyan without damaging the area too much.
  • The fighter advanced through Ye Qiyan's weapons, but Ye Qiyan activated Eve's Overlimit Mode and Transcendence Star, making the attack wound him.
  • Ye Qiyan identified the fighter as nonhuman and activated Ebony's Gunfire Judgment and Sin Judgment modules.

Ch. 254Mechanical Legion?

Ye Qiyan and his allies faced Luisa’s Mechanical Legion after revealing that Aleksei was a Mechanical Lifeform. Luisa revived Aleksei with Abyss Mode and enhanced her machines with the Calamity Card, while Ye Qiyan entered the battlefield and began summoning the Ancient Battlefield.

  • Ebony shot Aleksei in the head, exposing his mechanical body, and Eve prevented Luisa’s mechanical arm from retrieving him.
  • Luisa summoned her Mechanical Legion, and Ye Qiyan deployed his demons alongside Eve and Lisette to oppose it.
  • Luisa recognized Ye Qiyan’s forces as connected to the Imperial Sequence Organization but chose to fight because she sensed a Blasphemy Card fragment nearby.
  • Luisa recovered Aleksei, placed a black cube in his skull, and activated Abyss Mode and the Calamity Card: Intelligent Machine Crisis, empowering him and the Mechanical Legion.
  • Ye Qiyan entered the battlefield with the Book of the Unreal and the Real, called Red Tears to his side, and began manifesting the Ancient Battlefield.

Ch. 255RUN Company's aerospace carrier

Ye Qiyan and Red Tears battled Luisa’s forces as she brought RUN Company’s aerospace carrier to Solo City and declared war on the Judgment Court. Ye Qiyan summoned Hunt in Transcendence Mode and fired a Transcendence Warhead at the carrier.

  • Red Tears used the Book of the Unreal and the Real to drive Luisa’s mechanical legions mad, then destroyed most of them with a slash from the Tear-Carving Sword.
  • Luisa decided she had to press on toward the summit of the Judgment Court, threatened Ye Qiyan, and left the Court with the wounded Aleksei aboard her aerospace carrier.
  • RUN Company announced that it had established a presence in Solo City and would destroy the Judgment Court, claiming Chief Grand Inquisitor Zhao Xi had betrayed the city.
  • The Raven Demon appraised RUN Company’s aerospace carrier and found that it had no level.
  • Ye Qiyan activated Big Spending Discount, summoned Hunt in Transcendence Mode, and fired a Transcendence Warhead at the carrier, engulfing it in darkness.

Ch. 256An eye for an eye, a grudge for a grudge

Luisa’s attack with the Calamity Card failed to control Ye Qiyan’s Hunt Mecha-Dragon and allies, and Ye Qiyan’s group cornered her train. After they destroyed its shield and locomotive, Luisa tried to use the card again, but Lisette and Eve remained loyal to Ye Qiyan as the attack on her continued.

  • After the Transcendence Warhead destroyed her aerospace carrier, Luisa used the Calamity Card to make Solo City’s intelligent machines attack nearby humans.
  • The Calamity Card had no effect on the Hunt Mecha-Dragon, which still lacked intelligence and waited for Ye Qiyan’s command.
  • Ye Qiyan arrived at Luisa’s train with his allies and refused to let her escape, ordering them to attack.
  • Red Tears cut Luisa’s locomotive in two, interrupting her attempt to leave the station.
  • Luisa used the Calamity Card on Aleksei, Lisette, and Eve, but the card failed to control Lisette and Eve, and Ye Qiyan’s allies pressed their attack.

Ch. 257Three fragments?

Ye Qiyan trapped Luisa after Aleksei died, and her offer of a Blasphemy Card fragment brought his two fragments together with hers. Luisa forced him into a Fair Arena, where Ye Qiyan summoned Ebony and used Gunfire Judgment as a new Blasphemy Card formed.

  • Aleksei regained his memories, apologized to Ye Qiyan, and urged Luisa to flee before Red Tears, Lisette, and the Raven Demon killed him.
  • Luisa tried to escape using a remote-like item, but Ye Qiyan trapped her in a storm with the Storm Eye Stone.
  • Luisa offered items, blueprints, Card Sequences, and finally a Blasphemy Card fragment to save her life.
  • The fragment flew from Luisa’s necklace to Ye Qiyan, and it merged with the two fragments he already held.
  • Luisa activated Game Card · Fair Arena, sealing most powers and forcing the two to fight with one weapon and one ability each.
  • Ye Qiyan chose Ebony and Gunfire Judgment, and a gunshot ended a life as the new Blasphemy Card appeared.

Ch. 258[Blasphemy Card V: Judgment Enforcer]

Ye Qiyan gained the Blasphemy Card V: Judgment Enforcer after killing Luisa and discovered a way to use the Anchor to track her Calamity Card. He returned from the dissipating arena with Lisette and Red Tears, confident he could claim the Calamity Card once its anchor point settled.

  • Ye Qiyan appraised the new Judgment Enforcer card and learned it could mark living beings, teleport marked targets to him, and deliver verdicts based on their sins.
  • Ye Qiyan realized he could mark WALL-E so he would not need to leave the train parked while WALL-E traveled away from it.
  • As Luisa's Card Sequences began to dissipate, Ye Qiyan used the Anchor's Drop Anchor ability on her Intelligent Machine Crisis Calamity Card.
  • The Calamity Card disappeared, but Ye Qiyan sensed its anchor point traveling and believed he would be able to find the card once it stabilized.
  • Ye Qiyan reunited with Lisette and Red Tears, then ordered them to bury Aleksei and Luisa together and retrieve the cube from the robot's brain.

Ch. 259Book of Sequence

Ye Qiyan salvaged a Book of Sequence and an Abyss Cube from Luisa’s train, then returned to watch Monrojina and the Judgment Court fight the Apostles of Decay. Just as he thought the battle was nearly over, Monrojina and the God of Decay appeared in midair.

  • Ye Qiyan let Gluttony devour most of Luisa’s remaining combat machines and kept the level 5 machine.
  • Ye Qiyan bound the Book of Sequence, used Ascension to raise it to level 2, and discovered that completing a page of Card Sequences might trigger a one-time change.
  • Ye Qiyan found 140 Train Coins and appraised Aleksei’s Abyss Cube, deciding to sell it because it could retain dangerous memories.
  • Ye Qiyan returned to his train and watched Monrojina fight the God of Decay while Lane held back Galo and the Judgment Enforcers fought the Apostles of Decay.
  • Thunder boomed, and Monrojina and the God of Decay, who occupied Russell’s body, appeared in midair.

Ch. 260[Charge] [Arrest] [Verdict]

Ye Qiyan used the Judgment Enforcer’s abilities to bring the fleeing God of Decay back to the Judgment Court and issue a death sentence, but the god’s sealed powers still seemed too strong to kill. Ye Qiyan activated a Golden Critical Hit Card to strengthen his next attack.

  • The God of Decay fled from Monrojina and escaped the Judgment Court through the Substitute Rights Cube.
  • Ye Qiyan marked the God of Decay with Justice Mark, then used Arrest to drag it back to the Judgment Court.
  • Monrojina struck the God of Decay with Decapitation as it returned, and Ye Qiyan used Bewitchment to learn that it could die.
  • Ye Qiyan used Verdict to extract the God of Decay’s consciousness and seal its powers, then prepared to attack with Ebony.
  • Ye Qiyan activated a Level 6 Golden Critical Hit Card to increase his next attack’s power fiftyfold.
