Chapter Summaries

Ye Qiyan learned that Dylan’s trial was a rigged search for a hidden devil, then accepted a system quest to create a new traitor-finding trial for seven incoming Train Conductors. After Zhao Lin and the others entered the castle, they were told to find the devil among them, and Zhao Lin received a letter declaring that she was the devil.

• Ye Qiyan interrogated Dylan about the station’s trial, then used the Pure Purification Stone to destroy him and end the original trial.
• The system offered Ye Qiyan 21 Train Coins to run a new traitor-finding trial, and he accepted.
• Zhao Lin and six other Train Conductors arrived at the platform and followed a Demon Raven to the castle.
• Lisette showed the group rules requiring them to search for Train Coins and identify the devil among them, prompting the seven to split up.
• A Giant Eagle delivered Zhao Lin a letter that said, “You are the devil.”

Ye Qiyan set up a Werewolf-style coin hunt in the castle, giving every Train Conductor the same letter claiming they were the demon. Zhao Lin found several coins and discovered Ye Qiyan at the station, while he prepared to claim a newly discovered Demon Card.

• Ye Qiyan watched all seven Train Conductors receive identical letters declaring them demons, and Zhao Lin found six of the hidden Train Coins.
• Two Train Conductors fought over a coin, were voted out, and then resumed searching when nobody stayed to monitor them.
• Zhao Lin opened a sealed door and found Red Tears pointing a sword at her, then spotted Ye Qiyan inside.
• Ye Qiyan told Zhao Lin that she was not dreaming, but refused to explain why he was at the station.
• WALL-E returned to Ye Qiyan's train after finding the station's unknown Demon Card, and Ye Qiyan went to welcome it.

Ye Qiyan found a hidden underground altar and reached for the Demon Card waiting there. With his demons and the Dream Eater disrupting the crown’s influence, the card shattered and reassembled as Demon Card: Rebellion!

• Ye Qiyan followed WALL-E to a concealed cave on the cliff and flew inside with him.
• Ye Qiyan and Eve traveled deep underground until they found an Inverted Cross Altar behind a translucent barrier.
• Ye Qiyan used the Anchor to enter the barrier and sent Eve and WALL-E back to the train.
• Ye Qiyan climbed the altar’s steps and reached for the new Demon Card, which showed a hooded demon and a black crown.
• Red Tears and the other demons gathered around Ye Qiyan as the Dream Eater woke and bit him.
• Ye Qiyan crushed the crown in the vision, and the Demon Card reassembled as Demon Card: Rebellion!

Ye Qiyan discovered that the Dream Eater had transformed the Corruption Demon Card into Rebellion, tested its abilities, and returned to the Wasteland with his haul. Zhao Lin contacted him to ask if he was all right.

• Ye Qiyan saw that Corruption had become Rebellion and suspected the Juvenile Dream Eater had caused the change by exhausting its power.
• Ye Qiyan tested Rebellion’s Communion ability and found that he could use the abilities of his other demons at a cost of ten spirit.
• Ye Qiyan summoned the Rebellion Demon, discovering that it enhanced his demons’ abilities but could not attack.
• Ye Qiyan waited for Voyage’s cooldown, returned to his locomotive, and set off with his collected treasures and cards.
• Ye Qiyan returned to the Wasteland and received 21 Train Coins for completing the additional mission.

Ye Qiyan encouraged Zhao Lin to reclaim some of her bad luck so she could stop relying on extraordinary luck, then traveled to the Sky Garden to collect the Fengyue Flower. He arrived at the space station and prepared to begin his visit with Lisette beside him.

• Zhao Lin told Ye Qiyan she had asked Zhuxing Tu to return some of her bad luck, and Ye Qiyan reassured her that he would have made the same choice.
• Ye Qiyan rested on the train, then contacted Monrojina about visiting the Sky Garden for the Fengyue Flower and learned she was there.
• Ye Qiyan used the Sky Garden coordinates, and the Fork in Destiny offered Garden Station or the Adjudication Department Special Station.
• Ye Qiyan chose Garden Station and saw that the Sky Garden was a space station above an emerald-green planet.
• Ye Qiyan refused the Guide's Capsule Tunnel recommendation, kept Lisette beside him, put the train into the Matrix, and set out to find the Fengyue Flower.

Ye Qiyan visited the Sky Garden and used Bewitchment to learn about the city’s Adjudication Department and Garden Star from Gong Feiyu. He left suspicious of the city’s motives and planned to contact Monrojina to collect his Fengyue Flower.

• A staff member questioned Ye Qiyan because his arrival had no train registration, then took him to a milk tea shop to explain the Sky Garden’s recent trouble.
• Gong Feiyu introduced herself as a member of the Adjudication Department and explained that it served as the Sky Garden’s public security force.
• Gong Feiyu said Garden Star was a Level 12 Platform World that powerful Train Conductors had cleared of monsters, and that ordinary people from low-level Platform Worlds lived there while Train Conductors were forbidden to enter.
• Gong Feiyu tried to sell Ye Qiyan a tablet and add him as a friend, but he sent her a request through S-System Binding and left before she could learn his name.
• Ye Qiyan reunited with Lisette, questioned the Sky Garden’s motives for gathering ordinary people on Garden Star, and decided to contact Monrojina about his Fengyue Flower.

Ye Qiyan met Zhuxing Tu in a streetside arcade, where she used the system to ask him what Garden Star was and promised an item connected to his demon if he found the answer. After she left, he suspected she had a reason to remain on Garden Star beyond hiding from pursuit.

• Monrojina prepared the Fengyue Flower for Ye Qiyan, while he waited at an arcade after arranging to collect it.
• Zhuxing Tu entered the arcade, and Lisette restrained her before Ye Qiyan recognized her by the faint bad luck around her.

• Ye Qiyan left the arcade, saw a projection showing Garden Star's residents, and wondered whether it was Zhuxing Tu's answer.
• Annie picked Ye Qiyan and Lisette up in Monrojina's pumpkin carriage and took them to District 11.
• Monrojina warned Ye Qiyan that collecting Demon Cards too quickly could attract the gods' attention, then showed him the fragile Fengyue Flower.
• Monrojina explained that Train Conductors were forbidden from entering Garden Star because everything there blocked the Train System.

Ye Qiyan collected the Fengyue Flower and learned more about Garden Star and the benefits available after reaching Train Level 10. The chapter left him suspecting that a past upgrade option had been the coordinates for Lisette’s Mechanism: Celestial Domain Reverie.

• Monrojina explained that some Train Conductors broke Garden Star’s entry ban to exploit its natives, while Ye Qiyan said he had no interest in visiting.

Ye Qiyan stayed in Sky Garden to investigate Garden Star while Zhuxing Tu carried out her plan to bring the city down. As Sky Garden entered the system-shielded world, the Train System issued a hunting mission and warned of a hidden god before losing contact.

• Ye Qiyan declined Monrojina's offer to help kill Zhuxing Tu, and Monrojina departed with Annie and the other elves.
• Zhuxing Tu partly confirmed Ye Qiyan's suspicions about Garden Star and warned him to brace himself at thirteen minutes past midnight.

• Ye Qiyan found the Against-the-Wind Feather in his inbox and recognized it as Death Omen’s exclusive item, likely sent by Zhuxing Tu.
• Ye Qiyan equipped the feather to Death Omen, causing the Demon Raven to shrink and grow more intelligent while the Raven Demon grew to the size of a small building.

He set off toward the god’s location, while in District 1, the mayor and a man in a white suit discussed Sky Garden’s collapse and the threat posed by the Homecomers and the god.

Ye Qiyan cut through a forest, destroyed the birdmen attacking a town, and met Liang Ting, who called himself the director of a Stage. Liang Ting explained that the town was used to serve Train Conductors, while Ye Qiyan concealed what he knew and questioned him.

• Ye Qiyan sent the Giant Eagle to scout a path, then used his train’s drill and mechanical arm to clear the forest and collect timber.
• Ye Qiyan arrived at a town littered with dead humans and used Airspace Purge to kill the birdmen swarming his train.
• Eve targeted a group of humans emerging from hiding, and Ye Qiyan fired a warning shot when Liang Ting approached.
• Liang Ting introduced himself as the Stage’s director and asked whether Sky Garden had fallen; Ye Qiyan used Bewitchment to question him while hiding his knowledge.

Ye Qiyan reached the city of demon flowers and infiltrated it in disguise while searching for the Demon Flower God. A Flower Demon stopped him, but a human believer intervened before his cover was exposed.

• Ye Qiyan refused Liang Ting's request to board his train, took the twenty-two Train Coins, and left Liang Ting with the native humans.

Ye Qiyan learned that the Demon Flower God had defeated a former Train Conductor and set out to confront it. As Fan Huo and other Train Conductors launched an attack on the Sea of Demon Flowers, Ye Qiyan headed for the god’s tower, certain it would be the one to die.

• A former Train Conductor recognized Ye Qiyan as an outsider and warned him that the Demon Flower God and its Apostles were in the city.
• The man revealed that he had once been a Level 36 Train Conductor, but the god had destroyed his train and left him severely injured.
• Ye Qiyan learned that the Demon Flower God was in the northwestern of the city’s three tallest towers and said he intended to send it where it wanted to go most.
• Fan Huo arrived in a bomber as trains gathered outside the city, and humans and monsters began fighting.
• Ye Qiyan said he would collect the mission reward and walked toward the battle, insisting that the Demon Flower God would die.

Fan Huo led the Adjudication Department and guild forces into battle against the Demon Flower God’s army while Ye Qiyan infiltrated the city’s central district toward its southwestern tower. When the monsters abruptly left the path open, Ye Qiyan suspected the god was inviting him inside.

• Fan Huo summoned military forces with his War Cards and used Absolute Command and Battlefield Analysis to direct the approaching battle.
• Chai Ming gave Fan Huo command authority and privately considered the chance to reap the Homecomers after years of cooperation.
• Ye Qiyan followed a route into the central district and stealthily made his way toward the southwestern flower tower with Lisette.
• When flower demons discovered Ye Qiyan, Lisette attacked them, and Ye Qiyan summoned the Villain to clear the road toward the tower.
• A pink-and-green mist spread from the tower, and the monsters stopped pursuing Ye Qiyan and rushed to support the front lines, leaving the path open.

Ye Qiyan defeated Alibu, the Demon Flower God's seventh Apostle, and climbed to the tower's second floor. There, he used the Pure Purification Stone to destroy the sixth Apostle and its sea of limb flowers.

• Alibu revealed that the Demon Flower God's Apostles guarded their god above, and Ye Qiyan learned he would reach the god after defeating them.
• Alibu attacked Ye Qiyan, but Villain advanced behind the Magma and Decay shields and crushed him.
• Ye Qiyan found an Agarwood Flower Seed in Alibu's remains, then flew with Lisette to the second floor.
• The sixth Apostle appeared among flowers made from severed limbs and remains, but the Pure Purification Stone burned away the flowers and wounded it.
• Ye Qiyan repeatedly shone the Pure Purification Stone until the sixth Apostle turned to ash, then prepared to continue upward.

Ye Qiyan and Lisette defeated Kunte, the Demon Flower God’s second Apostle, and found a level-seven Demon Vine Seed. As Ye Qiyan ordered Lisette to kill the worshippers, Dizeru, the first Apostle, arrived and began an attack.

• Ye Qiyan, Lisette, and Villain reached the hall on the sixth floor, where Kunte identified himself as the Demon Flower God’s second Apostle and challenged them.
• Villain drew Kunte’s attacks while Lisette’s Psychic Wave Blades cut through his vines and a charged spike pierced his skull, killing him.
• Ye Qiyan took Kunte’s storage pouch and found Train Coins, materials, and a level-seven Demon Vine Seed among the withered vines.
• Ye Qiyan ordered Lisette to kill the mindless worshippers, but figures descended from the door above and a metallic flower blocked her strike.
