Ye Qiyan and Zhao Lin arrived at RUN Company for its concert and trading event, while a council meeting exposed Lu Jiayun’s determination to use gods and a mysterious Train Conductor to return home. The chapter ended with Lu Jiayun learning that the Secret Substitute Cube had resurfaced at RUN Company and deciding to find its holder.

• Ye Qiyan and Zhao Lin reached RUN Company, showed their VIP invitations, and were escorted to the top floor.
• Ye Qiyan warned a courier about hiding his emotions before the courier fell into the portal.
• Lu Jiayun argued with a uniformed Homecomer about his plan to weaken the Train System and rely on gods to find a way home.
• Heinz urged Lu Jiayun to stop pursuing the past, then revealed that the Secret Substitute Cube had appeared at RUN Company.
• Lu Jiayun became excited and resolved to find the Cube’s holder, whose Talent might help him return home.

Lu Jiayun sent Batos to RUN Company Headquarters to find the Train Conductor with the Secret Substitute Cube while Grace prepared to enter the Wasteland. At RUN Company, Ye Qiyan and Zhao Lin encountered Alice, who revealed that Russell had invited her.

• Grace told Lu Jiayun she intended to enter the Wasteland to pursue becoming the new mayor of the Nation on the Ship.
• Lu Jiayun ordered Batos to search RUN Company Headquarters for the handsome Train Conductor carrying the Secret Substitute Cube.

Ye Qiyan used Zhao Lin’s luck to open a Treasure Chest and received a level 10 weapon enhancement tied to the extinct Hero Race. He recognized that it might be just what his cracked weapon Ebony needed.

• Ye Qiyan crafted a basic Pseudo: Refusal of Death using Zhao Lin’s broken necklace and gave it back to her to wear.
