Ch. 81[Reality and Illusion]

Ye Qiyan uncovered how a painter and a strange book had shaped the snowy mountain world, then returned to the station after opening a passage with the book. A new message warned that the mountain would reset in three hours unless he found the guide, so he rode back toward the Third Supply Point to search for the station’s true final stage.

  • Ye Qiyan found the short man who had written crooked entries in the book and learned that the man had caused the expedition team’s deaths and created the Snow Monsters.
  • The Raven Demon killed the man after Ye Qiyan questioned him, and Ye Qiyan wrote in the book to open a passage back to the station world.
  • Ye Qiyan realized that the book contained no mention of the guide, and a new entry warned that the snowy mountain would reset in three hours unless he found the guide.
  • Ye Qiyan suspected that the Three-Headed Fused Man might be connected to the guide’s message and rode the Road Hog back toward the Third Supply Point.

Ch. 82A cycle of punishment?

Ye Qiyan discovered that the guide, his younger brother, and the expedition members had merged into a vengeful skull that kept the Three-Headed Fused Man trapped in a repeating punishment. He destroyed the three-headed man and purified the skull, freeing the trapped souls and completing his task at the Third Supply Point.

  • Ye Qiyan returned to the Third Supply Point and blasted apart the fireplace, revealing a talking skull hidden inside.
  • The skull claimed to be the guide, his younger brother, and the expedition members, and said the Three-Headed Fused Man had eaten them and repeated the punishment forty-seven times.
  • The Three-Headed Fused Man remembered its past and protested as the skull announced that the cycle would begin again.
  • Ye Qiyan rejected the skull’s attempt to restart the cycle, then shot and destroyed the Three-Headed Fused Man.
  • Ye Qiyan used the Pure Purification Stone to destroy the black vapor, freeing more than a dozen souls and completing his task.

Ch. 83Illusory Obsession

After breaking the cycle at the snow mountain, Ye Qiyan returned to the train and opened a Level 7 treasure chest. He crafted Illusory Obsession, used five early-departure modules, and gained a frost grenade launcher.

  • Ye Qiyan appraised the skull after the cycle ended and found WALL-E carrying a thighbone treasure chest.
  • Ye Qiyan returned to the train, ascended the thighbone chest to Level 7, and opened it.
  • Ye Qiyan crafted Illusory Obsession from Reality and Illusion and the Head of Obsession, then tested its ability to alter the Bewildering Snow Mountain.
  • Ye Qiyan used all five Depart 1 Hour Early Modules and received a Level 7 frost-enchanted six-barrel rotary grenade launcher.

Ch. 84Li Xiaosheng on the offensive

Ye Qiyan set aside his plans to ascend a powerful item and relaxed, while Li Xiaosheng turned on the Guild assistants assigned to gather resources and began plotting to seize control of the Guild. Ye Qiyan later ascended a beehive several times, transforming it into a Beedrill Nest and discovering that one Ascension had unexpectedly raised it by two levels.

  • Ye Qiyan decided not to force Ascension on a level 7 item and spent his time relaxing and browsing chat.
  • Li Xiaosheng recalled how his Guild had sent him out to gather resources and how its assistants despised him.
  • Li Xiaosheng summoned bats to kill the assistants, then converted their corpses into Thralls under his control.
  • Li Xiaosheng vowed to use his Alliance to take control of the Guild and said he might give Ye Qiyan a chance because Ye Qiyan had sold him a race-conversion item.
  • Ye Qiyan bought a beehive and placed it in his Planting Carriage beside the Whiteforest Fruit tree.
  • Ye Qiyan ascended the hive into a Beedrill Nest, which unexpectedly jumped from level 4 to level 6.

Ch. 85Train Conductor Module Card · Personal Armament

Ye Qiyan transformed a new carriage into a Beedrill hive and upgraded a Personal Armament Module to hold twelve weapons. He contacted Shaya to ask how to sell a Level 6 sword without attracting the City of a Thousand Stars, while she fought its Prosecutors and offered time for only one question.

  • Ye Qiyan moved the Beedrill hive into a new carriage and used Ascension to turn it into a temperature-controlled Hive Carriage.
  • After departing Bewildering Snow Mountain, Ye Qiyan received the Personal Armament Module Card as the reward for completing the hidden quest about the Grudge from Forty-Seven Cycles.
  • Ye Qiyan upgraded the card, expanding its armament capacity from three slots to twelve, and stored several weapons and the CVO Road Hog in it.
  • Ye Qiyan considered how to sell the Level 6 Deceptive Play Sword despite the City of a Thousand Stars' restrictions on items above Level 4.
  • Ye Qiyan messaged Shaya, who replied from the hidden Lower City while Angels fought the City's Prosecutors outside her train and said she could answer only one question.

Ch. 86Black Market Trading

Ye Qiyan used the Secret Black Market to sell his level 6 Deceptive Play Sword and learned that higher membership levels unlocked access to train upgrades and Wisdom Cubes. As he went to sleep, Shangguan Yingxue, short ten Train Coins, reached out to Zhao Lin for help.

  • Shaya obtained a Black Market Invitation Card from Zhuxing Tu and mailed it to Ye Qiyan.
  • Ye Qiyan entered the Black Market, sold his Deceptive Play Sword for 30 Train Coins, and raised his membership to level 2.
  • Ye Qiyan learned that level 3 unlocked train upgrade items and level 5 unlocked Wisdom Cubes, then returned the invitation card to his inventory.
  • Ye Qiyan went to bed after checking the time, while Shangguan Yingxue worried that she was ten Train Coins short.
  • Shangguan Yingxue messaged Zhao Lin, who replied that he had no more snacks or toiletries to sell.

Ch. 87Shangguan Yingxue's Sleepless Night

Shangguan Yingxue borrowed 10 Train Coins from Zhao Lin by putting her system-controlled flip phone up as collateral, then traded 30 Train Coins to Ye Qiyan for a Flame Stone after staying awake all night waiting for him. Ye Qiyan noticed his Spirit had risen to 130 and wondered whether Ascension or Whiteforest Fruit had caused it.

  • Shangguan Yingxue asked Zhao Lin to lend her 10 Train Coins so she could buy Ye Qiyan's Flame Stone.
  • Zhao Lin agreed to lend the coins for 13 in repayment and accepted Shangguan Yingxue's system-controlled flip phone as collateral.
  • Shangguan Yingxue messaged Ye Qiyan to arrange the Flame Stone trade, but he was asleep with his notifications off.
  • Ye Qiyan woke the next morning and traded the Flame Stone to Shangguan Yingxue for 30 Train Coins.
  • Ye Qiyan saw that his Spirit had reached 130 and wondered whether Ascension or eating Whiteforest Fruit had increased it.

Ch. 88Level 6 Train Conductor! Building the Hunt Mecha-Dragon!

Ye Qiyan upgraded his train to level 6 and spent 40 Train Coins to complete the Hunt Mecha-Dragon. He discovered the level 10 machine could be stored in his Personal Armament Module, though its powerful modes would cost him more coins.

  • Ye Qiyan successfully upgraded his train to level 6, raising its speed to 120 kilometers per hour and learning that a Storage Array was needed for the next upgrade.
  • Ye Qiyan reviewed the upgrade options and bought the Wisdom Cube for 40 Train Coins, leaving him with few coins.
  • Ye Qiyan placed the Wisdom Cube on the Hunt Mecha-Dragon Blueprint, which created a level 10 mechanical dragon.
  • Ye Qiyan inspected the dragon's modes and learned that switching to special modes required Train Coins and that it needed recharging after battles.
  • Ye Qiyan realized the Hunt Mecha-Dragon could be stored in the Personal Armament Module's armament space.

Ch. 89Something Special?

Ye Qiyan learned about a battle involving angels and Prosecutors in the City of a Thousand Stars, then discovered Shangguan Yingxue had borrowed Train Coins from Zhao Lin to buy flame stones. After trading for Zhao Lin’s advanced coffee beans, he wondered why his mental energy recovered much faster than other people’s.

  • Ye Qiyan saw chat messages about terrorists attacking the City of a Thousand Stars’ treasury and angels fighting the Prosecutors, and suspected Shaya had been involved.
  • Zhao Lin told Ye Qiyan that Shangguan Yingxue had borrowed 10 Train Coins from her and used a phone as collateral to buy flame stones.
  • Ye Qiyan asked Zhao Lin about her recent station haul, and she offered to sell him advanced coffee beans.
  • Ye Qiyan bought the coffee beans for 6 Train Coins and learned that most people recovered no more than 30 mental energy points per day.
  • Ye Qiyan compared his rapid mental energy recovery with Zhao Lin’s and wondered whether Ascension or he himself was special.

Ch. 90Twelfth Stop · The Dragon's Treasure Cave

Ye Qiyan arrived at Dragon's Treasure Cave and met Princess Falanier and her surviving knights, who paid him fifteen Train Coins to help them escape. After spotting hostility in Falanier and suspecting she was tied to a hidden quest, he sent WALL-E to search for treasure and chose to accompany the group on foot.

  • Ye Qiyan chose Dragon's Treasure Cave over Goblin King's Invasion City and arrived at a dangerous underground platform.
  • A knight offered Ye Qiyan fifteen genuine Train Coins and asked him to help rescue Princess Falanier and lead the survivors out of the Dragon's lair.
  • Falanier introduced herself as the third princess of the Duchy of Randall, and Ye Qiyan noticed her pupils briefly became vertical slits.
  • Ye Qiyan sent WALL-E out in Treasure-Hunting Mode, then activated the Sentinel and the Watcher after stepping off the train.
  • Ye Qiyan sensed that Falanier was hostile and told the knight he would leave the train behind and walk with the group.

Ch. 91Dragon? Princess?

Ye Qiyan led Princess Falanier and her knights through the cave, where he discovered that Falanier was actually a Treasure Dragon inhabiting the princess’s body. He defeated her and stopped Artush from intervening, but the Dragon then pretended to be Falanier.

  • Ye Qiyan and the knights traveled by boat until a Hell Worm attacked, and Ebony and Skyhawk killed it with gunfire.
  • Ye Qiyan blasted a passage through the rocks blocking their route, then stopped Falanier as she tried to leave.
  • Ye Qiyan shot Falanier in the head and revealed her as the Treasure Dragon, whose consciousness had replaced the princess’s after a sacrifice.
  • The Treasure Dragon spread her wings and attacked, but Ye Qiyan shot down both wings and stomped her into the ground.
  • Artush charged at Ye Qiyan, but a Raven Demon pinned him; Falanier then pretended to be the princess and pleaded that she was not a Dragon.

Ch. 92The Hunt Mecha-Dragon's First Battle

Ye Qiyan killed Falanier after she revealed herself as a Dragon, then traveled to the Dragon’s Treasure Cave to confront the creature behind her. He summoned the Hunt Mecha-Dragon, which tore the Treasure Dragon apart, leaving him impressed by its strength.

  • Artush and the knights demanded that Ye Qiyan release Falanier, but she transformed and attacked him, so he shot her dead.
  • Ye Qiyan let Artush take Falanier’s corpse upstream, then used Voyage to return to the train and headed back toward the Dragon’s Treasure Cave.
  • Ye Qiyan found a cavern full of beast skeletons and metal, where the Treasure Dragon woke and declared it would make him its new vessel.
  • Ye Qiyan dodged the Treasure Dragon’s fiery breath with Lightning Dash and summoned the Hunt Mecha-Dragon in normal mode.
  • The Hunt Mecha-Dragon pinned the Treasure Dragon down and dismantled it within twenty seconds, astonishing Ye Qiyan with its power.

Ch. 93Dragon Card · Wealth

Ye Qiyan salvaged the Dragon’s remains and treasure, then followed WALL-E to a hidden altar where he found and claimed the Dragon Card · Wealth. The card granted five Train Coins daily and protection from low-level monsters.

  • Ye Qiyan processed the Dragon’s fused metals and approved the Security Sentry’s attack on Artush after he tried to infiltrate the train.
  • Ye Qiyan returned to the cave and used the Raven Demon to help collect metal, mithril, gold, and the Dragon’s remains.
  • WALL-E led Ye Qiyan through a passage to a hidden cave containing a Dragon-shaped altar.
  • Ye Qiyan used the Blasphemy Card’s Drop Anchor and Voyage abilities to enter the altar despite lacking a key.
  • Ye Qiyan found the Dragon Card · Wealth and appraised its effects: five Train Coins daily and protection from low-level monsters.

Ch. 94This Stop's Haul

Ye Qiyan wrapped up a profitable stop, spending Train Coins on two upgrades and bringing the Dragon’s remains and other supplies back to his train. Meanwhile, a RUN Company executive investigated missing Card Sequences and searched for Blasphemy Cards before Ye Qiyan’s train departed.

  • Ye Qiyan waited for the Anchor’s cooldown, while a RUN Company executive learned that another Card Sequence had disappeared and that no high-level Train Conductor had visited the platform.
  • The executive discussed the Imperial Sequence Organization’s Angel, who had escaped her seal and killed thirty-eight Prosecutors, then ordered the search for Blasphemy Cards to continue.
  • Ye Qiyan used the Dragon Card to generate five Train Coins and counted his funds at thirty-eight after earning coins from the Dragon’s possessed princess.
  • Ye Qiyan spent twenty-five Train Coins on a front-loading washing machine and the train armament Wealth Shield, leaving thirteen coins.
  • Ye Qiyan sorted his haul, including Dragon meat, its skeleton and blood, and decorative gems, then welcomed WALL-E back and let it charge.
  • Ye Qiyan returned the Hunt Mecha-Dragon to the armament space and ordered the train to depart as the stop ended.

Ch. 95Zhuxing Tu's invitation

Ye Qiyan accepted Zhuxing Tu’s invitation to visit Solo City and learned how his train’s schedule would change once his stopping time reached twenty-four hours. Zhuxing Tu’s cards hinted at Ye Qiyan’s connection to the Dragon Card and an unknown Blasphemy Card, while she considered how his arrival might help her organization.

  • Ye Qiyan returned to the Wilds, received the Dragonslayer title, and wondered whether longer stopping times would force his train to move without a break.
  • Zhuxing Tu invited Ye Qiyan to an Imperial Sequence Organization activity in Solo City and promised him a Demon Card afterward.
  • Ye Qiyan accepted the invitation and asked Zhuxing Tu about stopping time; she explained that reaching twenty-four hours would let him choose when to travel within three days of leaving a station.
  • Zhuxing Tu told Ye Qiyan that tradable stopping time was worth thirty Train Coins per hour, and he regretted spending five hours of it.
  • After the conversation, Zhuxing Tu examined her cards, failed to identify the owner of a Blasphemy Card, and noticed that Ye Qiyan’s Dragon Card overlapped with a member of her organization.
  • Zhuxing Tu considered giving Ye Qiyan a Dragon Card and watched a dark-gold card depicting a hooded woman who resembled his Anchor.

Ch. 96Dream Eater

Ye Qiyan was drawn into a dream of his former home by the Dream Eaters, but he used a Dream Crystal to wake himself before they could reduce his spirit. He gained a Dream Eater’s friendship and realized that the other Train Conductors had likely been caught in the same dreams.

  • The Dream Eaters began pursuing the train, and Ye Qiyan fell asleep without noticing them.
  • Ye Qiyan dreamed he was at his former home and mistook the Blasphemy Card, the Card Sequences, and WALL-E for ordinary things.
  • Ye Qiyan bit down on the Dream Crystal, which restored his memories and ended the dream.
  • Ye Qiyan found Dream Eaters surrounding the train and learned that their dreams could drain a Train Conductor’s maximum spirit.
  • The Dream Eaters gave Ye Qiyan a Dreamlike Crystal that could summon the one he had touched to help against nightmares and mental attacks.
  • Ye Qiyan found the chatroom empty and suspected the other Train Conductors were still lost in dreams.

Ch. 97The Thirteenth Stop: Solo City

Ye Qiyan entered Solo City through its main gate, resisted the city’s influence, and learned more about Dream Eaters from Zhuxing Tu. His sightseeing began with Kuai Jiao as a guide, but seeing the city’s mistreated green-skinned children left him questioning what the locals called corruption.

  • Ye Qiyan used his invitation card to change his thirteenth stop to Solo City and chose to enter through the main gate.
  • Ye Qiyan resisted a brainwashing-like urge to abandon the train and hired Kuai Jiao to guide him after exchanging for 2,000 Soluo Coins.
  • Ye Qiyan asked Zhuxing Tu about Dream Eaters, and she explained that they were native Wasteland creatures whose dreams some people chose to lose themselves in.
  • Kuai Jiao took Ye Qiyan toward a restaurant, where guards drove away green-skinned children begging for food and money.
  • Ye Qiyan asked about the children, and Kuai Jiao said locals called their condition corruption and often abandoned or killed affected babies.

Ch. 98Unrest in Solo City

Ye Qiyan resisted Solo City inspectors trying to search his personal information, then fled with the help of Angel, the blue-skinned beggar child. He followed Angel to a hidden settlement and entered a building bearing the Faceless Saint’s symbol, where Monrojina introduced herself as the organizer of an operation for the Imperial Sequence Organization.

  • Solo City inspectors confronted Ye Qiyan and demanded to inspect his personal information, but he refused and fought them off.
  • Ye Qiyan escaped the inspectors and followed Angel into a hidden district after the child offered him a place to hide.
  • Angel told Ye Qiyan that his sister had died after eating poisoned candy given by adults from above.
  • Ye Qiyan saw the Faceless Saint symbol on a building in the settlement and entered with Ebony and Skyhawk ready.
  • Monrojina greeted Ye Qiyan, identified herself as a Card Sequence collector, and said she had initiated the organization's operation.

Ch. 99Wasn't Manipulating Fate at Will Disgusting?

  • Monrojina told Ye Qiyan she had spread word about the Imperial Sequence Organization’s visit, which led Sloth’s Inspectors to approach him.
  • Monrojina opened a hidden platform and helped Ye Qiyan teleport his train there, promising to erase the records of its former location.
  • Monrojina questioned Ye Qiyan about fate, and he said he would accept or reject what suited him rather than believe fate could not be changed.
  • Ye Qiyan told Monrojina his Card Sequence was Demon, and she revealed her Ritual Card and offered to trade for cards from her sequence.
  • Monrojina sent Ye Qiyan a friend request and was surprised to learn he already had System Binding.

Ch. 100The Ritual of Three Questions

Ye Qiyan asked Monrojina three questions about the corrupted children, the Slothful, and RUN Company. Monrojina used the ritual’s reward to give Train Coins to Annie, then asked Ye Qiyan to take an elf aboard as an assistant, but he refused.

  • Ye Qiyan asked whether the corrupted children were human, and Monrojina explained that an item sealed beneath the city had changed them into what she called elves.
  • Ye Qiyan asked about the Slothful, and Monrojina said they used Order Cards to establish cities whose stability and obedience made people want to stay; she confirmed Solo City had a similar Card Sequence.
  • Ye Qiyan asked whether Monrojina knew about RUN Company, and she said it seemed to interfere in low-level platform worlds, then promised to investigate and answer later.
  • Monrojina completed her ritual and gave the nine Train Coins it produced to Annie, asking her to take them to her grandmother for dinner.
  • Monrojina offered to let Ye Qiyan take an elf aboard as an assistant, but he declined because he preferred to travel alone.
