Ch. 1081The torment of endless years

Ye Qiyan realized Smiley Forgotten had endured an unknown stretch of endless years under a slow curse, while Yu Jiuquan questioned Fang Cheng and revealed that Ye Qiyan had killed his target. After Yu Jiuquan left, Fang Cheng confirmed Smiley was safe but had gone to the Heavenly Realm’s former Headquarters.

  • Ye Qiyan connected Smiley Forgotten’s suffering in Advance Station to the destruction of the Heavenly Realm nineteen Wasteland Years earlier and realized that time had been unnaturally extended.
  • Yu Jiuquan searched Fang Cheng’s soul, learned he was not the traitor, and refused to attack the City of a Thousand Stars.
  • Yu Jiuquan criticized Fang Cheng’s plan, revealed that Ye Qiyan had killed the target, and left after adding Ye Qiyan as a friend.
  • Shen Qianyu entered the hall, and Ye Qiyan warned her that her eyes would not open again.
  • Fang Cheng told Ye Qiyan that he had switched people into another hyperspace to protect them from the Eerie and confirmed that the Eerie’s effects had not fully ended.
  • Fang Cheng searched for Smiley and found that he had gone to the Heavenly Realm’s former Headquarters, where he remained safe.

Ch. 1082Smiley Chose to Remember

Ye Qiyan visited Smiley, the leader of the Heavenly Realm Organization who had forgotten his past, and offered to restore his memories. Smiley chose to remember everything despite the possible cost, and the True Name Rememberer began to shine.

  • Fang Cheng asked Ye Qiyan to find Smiley, and Ye Qiyan crossed through a doorway with Lisette and Eve.
  • Ye Qiyan found Smiley roasting fish and asked whether he remembered his past.
  • Smiley recalled being cursed and trapped at Forward Station, where he endured years of torment until Ye Qiyan saved him.
  • Ye Qiyan revealed that Smiley had once led the Heavenly Realm Organization and asked whether he wanted to remember everything.
  • Smiley agreed without hesitation despite the terrible price, and the True Name Rememberer began to shine.

Ch. 1083This time, no more forgetting!

Ye Qiyan used the True Name Rememberer to restore Smiley’s memories of the Heavenly Realm and its fallen members. Smiley revealed that his adopted daughter had betrayed him during the Realm’s destruction, but his account ended before he explained how she exploited the headquarters’ permissions.

  • Ye Qiyan awakened Smiley’s memories, causing the Heavenly Realm’s past and the names of its dead to appear across the headquarters.
  • The bell at the Tower of Babel rang three times, alarming a woman who feared someone was still alive.
  • Smiley accepted the name Forgotten and offered Ye Qiyan his Life Casket, which Ye Qiyan accepted as a promise of later repayment.
  • Ye Qiyan asked how the Heavenly Realm had fallen, and Smiley explained that his adopted daughter had stabbed him with a rule-bound knife that stripped away his powers.
  • Smiley recalled that a person from the City of a Thousand Stars with a luck talent helped his daughter find a loophole in the Heavenly Realm headquarters’ permissions.

Ch. 1084The Wasteland Is Infinite!

Smiley explained that Lu Jiayun’s betrayal destroyed the Heavenly Realm, and resolved to find and kill her for the people who died. After parting from Ye Qiyan, he boarded his train and set out into the wasteland, leaving Ye inspired by his words that the wasteland was infinite.

  • Smiley told Ye Qiyan that Lu Jiayun’s betrayal had caused the Heavenly Realm’s destruction and asked whether its members regretted their sacrifice; Ye replied that Smiley already knew the answer.
  • Smiley said he would not return to lead the Heavenly Realm while Fang Cheng was doing well, and that he intended to find and kill Lu Jiayun.
  • Ye promised not to tell Fang Cheng, Yu Jiuquan, or the others about Smiley, then gave him the broken level-one beheading blade.
  • Smiley boarded his train, regained his human features, and told Ye that he still believed Ye would become the greatest Train Conductor and advance through the wasteland without end.
  • Smiley’s train entered the wasteland as he wished Ye good war luck, and Ye repeated that the wasteland was infinite with excitement.

Ch. 1085WALL-E's return / Fortune-Reversing Stone (Level 13) / Preparing to leave the sixty-first stop

Ye Qiyan waited for WALL-E to return with a treasure while the Heavenly Realm recovered and he received a mission reward for helping protect humanity. WALL-E brought back a Fortune-Reversing Stone, whose link to Yu Jiuquan led Ye Qiyan to suspect it could trade for a use of Zhao Lin’s luck.

  • Ye Qiyan received an EX rating and three thousand Train Coins for protecting humanity by killing the False God, Eerie.
  • Ye Qiyan spent several days exploring the restored city, and learned that the City of a Thousand Stars had captured tens of millions of people from the Nation on the Ship.
  • On the tenth night, WALL-E returned with a pale pink Fortune-Reversing Stone, and Ye Qiyan gave it Plasma Cola.
  • Ye Qiyan learned from the stone’s appraisal that it could turn good luck into bad luck or dispel bad luck, and noticed Yu Jiuquan’s message attached to it.
  • WALL-E told Ye Qiyan that it found the stone on a skeleton beneath the seabed, on a continent that had been split apart; Ye Qiyan suspected Yu Jiuquan had killed a luck-blessed person there.
  • Ye Qiyan considered trading the stone for one use of Zhao Lin’s luck, which could give him a chance to hatch Yaduolamaleike’s True God Egg.

Ch. 1086[Eerie Secret Hub Core]

Zhao Xi rejected Executive Mar’s warning that Lu Jiayun planned to wage war across the Wasteland, then left to read messages from Ye Qiyan. On the Pure White Train, Ye Qiyan checked his earnings and opened a reward email containing the Eerie Secret Hub Core.

  • Executive Mar warned Zhao Xi that Lu Jiayun had gone mad and urged Solo City to unite the other cities, but Zhao Xi refused to commit to a war.
  • Zhao Xi exposed Mar’s String Puppet and struck down his true body in Imaginary Number Space, after which Mar escaped.
  • Zhao Xi told her clerk that Lu Jiayun had unleashed his suppressed nature, then left the Judgment Court after reading Ye Qiyan’s messages.
  • Ye Qiyan traded plush toys to Zhao Xi for fifty Train Coins and counted his wealth at 4,100 coins.
  • Ye Qiyan opened his reward email and read that the Eerie Secret Hub Core could transform a spirit into an Eerie Creature and enable it to spread Eerification.

Ch. 1087The Tear-Carving Sword's New Permanently Manifestable Attack

Ye Qiyan examined a failed God Core of the Eerie and an experimental stone tablet tied to Red Tears’ ancient battlefield. Red Tears destroyed the tablet and gained a new permanently manifestable sword attack, while the mystery of the battlefield remained unresolved.

  • Ye Qiyan extracted an A-Rank God Core created as a failed False God of the Eerie and decided to sell it.
  • Ye Qiyan appraised a stone tablet whose experiment log described a failed attempt to create a God of the Eerie using Data Erasure from a battlefield he identified as Red Tears’ battlefield.
  • Red Tears slashed the tablet, destroyed it, and absorbed the black light released from its ashes with the Tear-Carving Sword.
  • The sword gained the ability to permanently manifest a random Soul Type attack, and Ye Qiyan and Red Tears drew the Crimson Soul Wolf King.
  • Ye Qiyan tested the attack, creating crimson soul-corroding mist over the wasteland, then asked Red Tears about the battlefield; she had no memories of it.

Ch. 1088The ??? Blueprint Destined to Attain the Name of [Supreme]

Ye Qiyan completed the second ascension of the Supreme blueprint, producing a new mechanical construct while a red core inside the God of Mechanisms reacted to the process. The blueprint’s construction requirements were revealed, and the God of Mechanisms’ God Sequence Path ranking fell from A-55 to A-69.

  • Ye Qiyan prepared to ascend the incomplete blueprint at the Arsenal Hangar while his companions secured the Train.
  • As Ye Qiyan poured his spirit and stamina into the ascension, mechanical monsters and vengeful spirits attacked the Train.
  • The red core in the God of Mechanisms’ body trembled and tried to escape, breaking through its divine power and damaging its God Sequence Path.
  • Ye Qiyan completed the ascension, manifesting an Inverted Cross Mechanical Construct and transforming the blueprint into The ??? Blueprint Destined to Attain the Name of [Supreme].
  • The completed blueprint required GT memory metal, a Dedicated Finality Core, GT Dedicated Permanent Components, and five B-rank or higher Divine Cores; the God of Mechanisms’ ranking dropped to A-69.

Ch. 1089Train level: 29

Ye Qiyan raised the train to level 29 and chose the Armed Space Harmony upgrade, which let mechanical units place and control weapons throughout a wide area. He realized it could greatly expand Eve’s combat flexibility, and the upgrade crystal’s physical form suggested it could undergo Ascension.

  • Ye Qiyan found that his inverted-cross Blueprint still had Ascension potential but required rare materials, including Finality, before he could craft it.
  • After recovering, Ye Qiyan ascended the train to level 29 with little energy or stamina cost as few monsters appeared along the route.
  • Ye Qiyan spent Train Coins on Armed Space Harmony, Doubled Storage Unit compression, Mist-Piercing Lighthouse, and the Ranger System · Mind Amplification Loading Unit.
  • Ye Qiyan learned that Armed Space Harmony let a mechanical unit place weapons anywhere within a radius determined by its user's Mental Limit and retrieve them by spending mental energy.
  • Ye Qiyan realized the Module could let Eve control ranged weapons across a wide area, then noticed its crystallized physical form could undergo Ascension.

Ch. 1090Rabbits Fear Loneliness Most

Ye Qiyan ascended Armed Space Harmony into Armament Meteor and loaded the module into Eve, then improved his storage capacity and raised the Mist-Piercing Lighthouse to level 8. He ended by examining a Ranger System Amplification Loading Unit intended for Augustine and the Endless Legion.

  • Ye Qiyan ascended Armed Space Harmony into Armament Meteor, which let Eve turn weapons in her slots into azure meteors burning with Flower of Evil Flame.
  • Ye Qiyan loaded the module into Eve’s core, awakening all seventy-two weapon slots, and Eve thanked him before returning to guard the roof.
  • Ye Qiyan reviewed the Storage Unit Compression upgrade and considered its cost of two thousand Train Coins.
  • Ye Qiyan installed the Mist-Piercing Lighthouse on the Constant-Temperature Carriage and successively ascended it from level 5 to level 8.
  • Ye Qiyan examined the Ranger System Amplification Loading Unit, which could link Mechs across distance and space, and saw Augustine, Endless Legion, Lancelot, Bedivere, and Gawain listed as recommended users.

Ch. 1091Miracle Medal

Ye Qiyan crafted Miracle Medals that honored his Mechs and could carry a Ranger mentality enhancement unit, then began awarding them as marks of recognition and intelligence upgrades. After naming the existing knights, he prepared to name all fifty Endless Mechs.

  • Lisette learned to install the Ranger Mentality Enhancement Loading Unit, which could turn Mechs into more coordinated and intelligent mechanical lifeforms without changing their abilities or personalities.
  • Ye Qiyan spent five sleepless days making more than a hundred demon-alloy medals engraved with images of his Mechs and named them Miracle Medals.
  • Ye Qiyan gathered the Mechs in the Arsenal Hangar and began honoring them, giving Villain a decorative medal and Augustine, Lancelot, Bedivere, and Gawain medals with the mentality enhancement loaded.
  • Ye Qiyan gave Martial Dread a decorative medal without the enhancement, since he was not suited to legion combat.
  • Ye Qiyan announced that he had prepared names for all fifty Endless Mechs and was ready to name them.

Ch. 1092The knights awarded medals/The influence of Correct Train Coins

Ye Qiyan named the Endless Knights and awarded them Miracle medals, strengthening their bonds as they trained together. He then contacted Ailei to sell the God of the Eerie’s God Core and learned that Train Coins could lose their system-judged correctness through trade, with Trade Star’s owner using a Blasphemy Card to prevent that loss.

  • Ye Qiyan gave the Endless mechs True Names and Miracle medals, and they knelt to swear their loyalty to him.
  • The Endless Knights trained against Villain and improved their coordination, though they still could not defeat him.
  • Ye Qiyan accepted Ailei’s trade request and offered to sell the God of the Eerie’s God Core.
  • Ailei valued the A-Rank God Core at no less than five hundred thousand Train Coins and explained how traded coins could lose their correctness.
  • Ailei revealed that Trade Star’s owner, Mr. Christine, used the Blasphemy Card [Reciprocator] to preserve the correctness of Train Coins in trades.

Ch. 1093Ordinary Train Coins / About to Enter the Sixty-Second Station

After learning that the Black Market’s Blasphemy Card protected ordinary transactions, Ye Qiyan agreed to sell his A-rank god core at an auction in twelve days. He entered the station selection process, where three Level 10 platforms appeared as options for his sixty-second station.

  • Ailei explained that large purchases were usually made with ordinary Train Coins and asked whether Ye Qiyan still wanted to sell his A-rank god core.
  • Ye Qiyan agreed to attend the auction in twelve days and said he would bring friends.
  • After lunch, Ye Qiyan decided to enter another platform and activated the station selection.
  • The Train System offered Ye Qiyan Hakoma Kingdom, Aidalor Academy, and A Letter from the Navigator as his sixty-second station options.

Ch. 1094The sixty-second stop · Level 10 Quest Platform · Hakoma Kingdom

Ye Qiyan chose the Hakoma Kingdom Quest Platform, where he found a royal seal and a scroll revealing that the kingdom’s throne was meant to pass to the eldest princess. He began searching for living people who could help him decide how to proceed.

  • Ye Qiyan chose the Level 10 Quest Platform in Hakoma Kingdom and sent WALL-E into the Anti-Reality to look for treasure while staying safe.
  • Ye Qiyan explored the autumn maple forest with Lisette and dispatched Demon Raven and the Nanite Swarm to search for clues and inhabitants.
  • Demon Raven found a recently dead person by a lake, and Ye Qiyan recovered a box containing Hakoma Kingdom’s royal seal.
  • Ye Qiyan found a Throne Summons Scroll stating that the former king had chosen his eldest princess as his successor.
  • Ye Qiyan expanded the search for living people, and the Nanite Swarm and Giant Eagle found a medieval castle in the forest.

Ch. 1095The Sword in the Stone and Mebis

Ye Qiyan and Lisette met Mebis near Tintagel Castle and learned about Hakoma Kingdom’s succession crisis. After hearing that the eldest princess had been branded a witch and failed to draw the Sword in the Stone, Ye Qiyan suspected a plot against her and considered the kingdom a possible mission.

  • Ye Qiyan met Mebis, discovered she was a girl using reality-shift magic, and introduced himself as a traveler lost in the maple woods.
  • After Mebis burned her sweet potato, Ye Qiyan gave her a Whiteforest Fruit, and she invited him and Lisette to rest at the castle.
  • Mebis told Ye Qiyan that nobles opposed the eldest princess, whom they accused of poisoning the king and portrayed as a cruel witch.
  • Mebis explained that the king had declared the person who drew the Sword in the Stone the next ruler, but the eldest princess had failed and was searching for the kingdom’s lost legacy relic.
  • Ye Qiyan recognized similarities to the King Arthur legend and suspected someone had framed the eldest princess, then asked Mebis whether she wanted to become king; she immediately said no.

Ch. 1096Nightmare Half-Blood · Merlin

Ye Qiyan discovered that Merlin was a nightmare half-blood trying to make Mebis king under the High Tower’s orders. After Merlin revealed the tower’s plan to create an eternal Fairy Kingdom, Ye Qiyan pinned him down to continue questioning him.

  • Ye Qiyan recognized the malice surrounding Mebis as an imposed fate and decided to stop her from becoming king.
  • Ye Qiyan and Lisette entered Ector’s castle, where Ector hosted them but knew little about the Sword in the Stone or the throne.
  • A nightmare attacked Ye Qiyan at night, but the Dream Eater absorbed it and the Pure Purification Stone suppressed the attacker, whom Ye Qiyan identified as Merlin.
  • Ye Qiyan used Bewitchment to make Merlin reveal that a voice from the High Tower had ordered him to guide Mebis to the throne.
  • Merlin explained that the High Tower had chosen Mebis to rule the Hakoma Kingdom and conquer the world as an eternal Fairy Kingdom.
  • Merlin tried to escape, but Ye Qiyan’s Skull-Piercing Spike pinned him to the floor so the questioning could continue.

Ch. 1097Fate Is a Lunatic

Ye Qiyan learned that the Tower had arranged for Mebis to become King, then helped her survive an attack on the castle by another King Candidate. Mebis questioned her fate, and Ye Qiyan urged her to reach the Royal Capital and choose for herself whether to become King after drawing the Sword in the Stone.

  • Ye Qiyan learned from Merlin that the Tower backed multiple King Candidates and intended to strip the chosen King's emotions, while Merlin cursed him before dying to the curse's reflected effects.
  • Ye Qiyan learned that Mebis was the most promising candidate and that Merlin believed her destined to become King.
  • A girl and her Merlin attacked the castle with a fireball, but Eve killed them with Ye Qiyan's weapons.
  • Ye Qiyan rescued Mebis, her foster father Sir Ector, and the surviving Guards and Knights from the rubble.
  • Mebis asked Ye Qiyan why fate had chosen her, and he told her to defeat the other candidates and Merlins, draw the sword, and decide for herself whether to become King.

Ch. 1098The King Selection Candidates Who Lay in Ambush

Mebis traveled with Ye Qiyan toward the Royal Capital while he drew out King Selection candidates and their Merlins. After Mebis defeated a rival, Ye Qiyan killed her, and Mebis accepted that he had killed her Merlin because it threatened him.

  • Mebis chose to leave her castle with Ye Qiyan and refused to take guards or knights along.
  • Over twenty days, Ye Qiyan deliberately revealed their identities, drawing King Selection candidates and Merlins into pursuing them.
  • Eve counted fourteen King Selection candidates and fifteen Merlins they had encountered, while Lisette reported that Mebis was winning her fight against a hammer-wielding candidate.
  • Mebis defeated the hammer-wielding candidate, and Ye Qiyan shot and killed her before the Nanite Swarm took her warhammer.
  • Mebis asked what the candidate meant by calling Ye Qiyan her Merlin, and he told her he had killed the Merlin at her castle.
  • Mebis said the Merlin deserved to die for threatening Ye Qiyan and called him a Hero whose actions must be right.

Ch. 1099That's Exactly Why I Won't Be a Hero

Ye Qiyan used Nafroluo's Ring of Sovereignty to investigate why Mebis saw him as a hero, triggering a genetic awakening that linked her grief to a mysterious tower. As he suspected the tower and its survivors might be connected to the Bronze Race, Mebis reaffirmed her trust in him, and Ye Qiyan rejected the idea of becoming a hero.

  • Mebis told Ye Qiyan she believed he was a hero and that his actions must be right, despite him not wearing the Hero title.
  • Ye Qiyan showed Mebis Nafroluo's Ring of Sovereignty, and her bloodline stirred as she collapsed in tears during a transgenerational genetic awakening.
  • Ye Qiyan wondered whether the mysterious tower was connected to Nafroluo and realized its history might involve a race targeted alongside the Golden, Silver, and Bronze Races.
  • Ye Qiyan considered whether Nafroluo's protected people could have been connected to the Bronze Race, which was skilled at crafting creations, but questioned whether he was speculating too wildly.
  • After recovering, Mebis said she trusted Ye Qiyan because heroes could not make mistakes, and Ye Qiyan replied that this was exactly why he would not be a hero.

Ch. 1100Journey to the Royal Capital / Death of the King Selection Candidates

Ye Qiyan and Mebis reached Cornwall Town, where Ye killed eighteen King Selection Candidates and their Merlins, increasing Mebis’s bloodline progress and upgrading Eve’s weapons. With the remaining candidates avoiding their route, Ye and Mebis traveled on to Hakoma Kingdom’s Royal Capital, where the Sword in the Stone lay.

  • Ye Qiyan took Lisette and Mebis to Cornwall Town on the Frostsky White Bear, which he had transformed into a land motorcycle.
  • Ye killed a King Selection Candidate and his Merlin, then used the Pure Purification Stone and the Raven Demon’s Black Feather Storm to attack the Merlins across the town.
