  • Qin Qiang gave Ye Qiyan a compressed snakeskin bag and twenty Train Coins in exchange for a friend request, and asked him to help his guild settle in Solo City within the month.
  • Ye Qiyan agreed to consider the guild’s move, took the bag, and watched Qin Qiang leave to gather resources.

Ch. 126Mechanical Life Core

Ye Qiyan used a Mechanical Structure Enhancement Core to turn WALL-E into a Mechanical Lifeform, giving it unlimited energy and making it unobservable to anyone but him while treasure hunting. With his stamina and spirit restored and 137 Train Coins on hand, he prepared to upgrade his train from level 6 to level 7.

  • Ye Qiyan woke to Solar Flare Wind and learned that the 50°C heat was making station visits dangerous for other train conductors.
  • Ye Qiyan ascended the Mechanical Structure Enhancement Core into a Limit · Mechanical Life Core.

  • Ye Qiyan used the Ice Vein Pearl to endure the heat and ascended the train to level 7, raising its speed to 140 kilometers per hour.
  • Ye Qiyan reviewed the upgrade options and spent Train Coins on the High-Energy Electric Furnace, Storage Matrix, Self-Purification module, and Train Space Expansion.

  • Ye Qiyan refused to help without a convincing reason or greater reward, pointing out that he could keep the coins and leave Altos behind.
  • Altos promised an item worth more than 150 Train Coins and explained that the Train System made his quest a binding trade, payable when they reached the City of a Thousand Stars.

Ch. 132The Train System's "Fairness"

  • Ye Qiyan bought a Basic Train Engine with an added lock and summoned it into the pit for Altos.
  • Altos entered the engine and bound it after Ye Qiyan removed its seal, but found he could not fully control the train system.

  • WALL-E led Ye Qiyan into the black forest, where they found a red sword embedded in a boulder beside a black skeleton.
  • Red Tears and the Raven Demon destroyed the skeleton, and Ye Qiyan’s appraisal identified the sword as the level 12 Tear of War, which could only be drawn by someone who understood war.
  • Ye Qiyan tried to draw the sword, but its mental influence made him relive a battlefield and lowered his mental stat; he used the Purpleheart Mist Orb to end the effect.
  • Ye Qiyan realized Red Tears understood war and had her grasp the hilt; she easily drew the sword, causing the boulder to crumble.
  • The sword became the level 13 Tear-Engraved Sword, and its red radiance brought torrential rain across the Ancient Battlefield Ruins.

Ch. 136Even more terrifying weather, departure imminent

Ye Qiyan secured the Tear-Carving Sword and Red Tears Demon, then prepared his train for worsening heat as the station’s weather escalated into a Firestorm. • Zhao Lin considered Ye Qiyan’s suggestion to head to the City of a Thousand Stars and agreed to give him her decision the next morning.
  • Ye Qiyan returned to the Wasteland, saw Fire Tornadoes crossing it, and stationed the Raven Demon, the Red Tears Demon, and WALL-E around his train for protection.
  • Ye Qiyan checked why his Black Market weapons had not sold and learned that buyers could use brain-damaged indigenous slaves to avoid the Deceptive Play Sword’s negative effect.
  • Zhuxing Tu wondered how Ye Qiyan had obtained a Demon Card and noted his Pride and level 12 sword, then became excited about someone blessed with luck.
  • Zhao Lin told Ye Qiyan she would go to the City of a Thousand Stars and asked whether he could reserve special materials for upgrading her train to level 5.
