After they entered the water, rocks continued to rain down behind them, but the resistance of the water slowed the rocks considerably.
The White Apes chased them to the bank. They did not dare enter the water, but gathered along the shore, howling.
They looked as though they were swearing quite viciously.
"Roar, roar..."
Some White Apes discovered the baskets on the bank, along with the fragrant food inside.
One White Ape curiously picked up a strawberry and took a bite, then howled in delight.
Delicious.
In an instant, all the White Apes crowded around.
They tried a bit of this and a bit of that.
After eating the delicious food, the White Apes seemed less angry.
Under their leader's direction, all the White Apes worked together to carry the baskets away.
Meanwhile, Qin Yan and the others climbed ashore somewhere else.
"Phew... That chase was pretty rough, but it was worth it."
That was something that could extend their lifespans. How rare was that?
"Huh? What animal left these footprints?"
They rested for a while, ate something, then headed into the woods.
Before long, they discovered some unfamiliar footprints.
The footprints were enormous, easily large enough for a person to stand inside.
And they did not belong to any known animal.
"They're huge."

Qin Yan curiously jumped in too.
Goodness, there was easily enough room for two people.
A low, very loud call came from the forest.
"Holy shit, could it be a dinosaur?"
The sound immediately made Fu Wenzi think of those extinct creatures.
Looking at the footprints again, they really did seem more and more like dinosaur tracks.
"Should we go look?"
Fu Wenzi was eager to try.
Fu Wenli said, "Let's go."
Qin Yan's eyes sparkled. "Yes, yes, yes! I want
