Fu Zhige folded his arms and looked at the little one coldly.
She really had mistaken him for that idiot...
"Younger Uncle?"
Qin Yan held his hand, tilting her pretty little face up to look at him pleadingly.
Fu Wenzi couldn't bear to watch. "Zhi Ge, you've been fighting for so long. Why don't you go rest and let Nanshan out to treat those injuries? You're using this body too, after all. You can't let it fall apart."
Fu Zhige clicked his tongue impatiently. "You talk too much."
Fu Wenzi bit his little handkerchief and cried. He really had no respect whatsoever for his older brother.

Qin Yan paid no attention to any of that. Her little face scrunched up as she stared tearfully at his wounds.
Fu Nanshan's skin was on the pale side, making those wounds look especially gruesome and the bright red blood trickling down particularly glaring.
The little one's tear ducts were especially active. The injuries weren't even on her, and Fu Zhige hadn't made a sound, yet tears streamed down her little face.
"Waaah... there's so much blood."
"Younger Uncle, don't die."
Fu Zhige: ...He wasn't dead yet.
"Stop crying."
He frowned, his face defiant and impatient.
"I'm not going to die."
Qin Yan stopped sobbing aloud, but her tears kept pouring down as though she couldn't control them.
She cried as she applied medicine to him.
And she unconsciously circulated the energy inside her.
Fu Zhige felt warmth in the places where she applied the medicine.
"Wh-why is it black?"
Choking back
