Peter Parker hung up the phone angrily, finally able to lie down and get a proper night's sleep. The past few days had exhausted him.

When Peter woke up the next day, he received another call from Norman Osborn.

"Come to Osborn Tower, Peter. I have something to discuss with you."

Norman sounded extremely serious over the phone, but that was always how he spoke, so Peter did not sense anything unusual.

Still confused, Peter Parker arrived at Osborn Tower, where Norman Osborn had already been waiting for him in his office.

"What did you want to see me about, Uncle Norman?"

Norman Osborn had originally planned to get Dr. Connors out of prison and have him continue the research. However, when he sent someone to retrieve him from the police station, he learned that Dr. Connors had already been taken away by another government agency.

Norman had heard of that mysterious government organization before. It was called the Department of Homeland Security or something like that. The name was too long for him to remember.
