Arc 1Seiichi’s Rise and the Uchiha’s Claim

Seiichi strengthened the Uchiha Clan, exposed Root’s illegal power, and helped his family awaken formidable Mangekyō abilities. After the war, he asserted the clan’s rights and ended by demanding the Sharingan Obito had entrusted to Kakashi.

  • Seiichi used the blood of 20,928 Uchiha to create a complete bloodline serum, transforming his body and strengthening his Sharingan.
  • As the Third Shinobi World War raged, Seiichi raided Orochimaru’s laboratory and later developed Divine Medicine that awakened his Mangekyō Sharingan.
  • Seiichi confronted Root after its members attacked him, invoked the Konoha Military Police Force’s authority, and forced Hiruzen Sarutobi to disband Root.
  • Seiichi treated his family and trusted Uchiha with the Key, while Fugaku, Mikoto, Shisui, and Itachi trained and revealed their abilities.
  • Seiichi, Fugaku, and Mikoto tested their Susanoo near the Land of Whirlpools, where Seiichi revealed his Perfect Susanoo and destroyed a mountain with its Tailed Beast Bomb.
  • After the war, Seiichi promised aid to injured Uchiha and their families, then revealed his Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan to the clan elders.
  • At the postwar meeting, Seiichi announced that he would reclaim the Uchiha Sharingan held by outsiders, and Kakashi refused to give up Obito’s eye.
  • Seiichi insisted that the Sharingan could not remain with an outsider unless the entire Uchiha Clan unanimously agreed to an exception, and Hiruzen Sarutobi and Minato Namikaze accepted his refusal to yield.
Chapters 2–26 Vol. 1 Read

Ch. 2Uchiha Seiichi

Uchiha Seiichi was reborn as Fugaku and Mikoto’s son, then grew up determined to guide his younger brother Itachi and investigate the Uchiha bloodline. After comparing the Uchiha and Hyuga eye techniques, he realized their evolutionary paths differed in a crucial way.

  • Uchiha Seiichi recalled his previous life, in which he died five minutes before a treatment for his terminal illness was completed.
  • In Konoha Year 43, Seiichi reassured Fugaku while Mikoto gave birth to their second son, Uchiha Itachi.
  • Seiichi reflected on Itachi’s future and decided to make his younger brother a useful pawn while there was still time to influence him.
  • After studying the Uchiha clan’s records and comparing its Sharingan with the Hyuga clan’s Byakugan, Seiichi identified their different paths of evolution.
  • Seiichi wrote down that the Uchiha eye progressed through multiple stages toward the Rinnegan, while the Byakugan had a separate path to the Tenseigan.

Ch. 3The problem was found, but how could it be solved?

Seiichi deduced that the Uchiha bloodline had been weakened by the Sage of Six Paths, then refused to attend the Ninja Academy. Hiruzen Sarutobi blocked Shimura Danzō’s plan to eliminate Seiichi, leaving Konoha’s leaders without a way to stop the Uchiha’s rise.

  • Seiichi reasoned that the Sage of Six Paths had weakened the Uchiha bloodline to protect his son, and burned his notes after finishing his deductions.
  • A clan messenger summoned Seiichi to the elders, where Fugaku and the elders asked whether he would attend the Ninja Academy.
  • Seiichi refused to attend, saying the Academy would waste his time, and the clan agreed to reject Hiruzen Sarutobi’s request.
  • Shimura Danzō urged Hiruzen Sarutobi to deal with Seiichi before he grew stronger, but Hiruzen forbade him from acting.
  • Mitokado Homura and Utatane Koharu offered no solution, and Hiruzen calmed villagers who mistook smoke from the Hokage’s Office for a fire.

Ch. 4Successful research

After a year of research, Seiichi created a serum containing the complete genetic code of the Uchiha Clan and injected it into himself. He woke from the transformation taller and stronger, with greatly increased chakra and eye power.

  • Hiruzen Sarutobi ordered someone to ask the Uchiha Clan about Seiichi's enrollment again after the villagers and the Uchiha ninja dispersed.
  • Seiichi continued researching Uchiha bloodline defects while Fugaku spent heavily on scientific equipment and clan members donated blood.
  • Seiichi found all the genetic codes in blood collected from 20,928 Uchiha clan members and made a serum containing the complete Uchiha bloodline.
  • Seiichi used a Shadow Clone to inject the serum into his heart, then drank nutrient solution and fell asleep.
  • Seiichi woke ravenous, drank many vials of nutrient solution, and discovered that he had grown taller, gained a powerful physique, and greatly increased his chakra and eye power.

Ch. 5Unraveling the Mystery of the Uchiha Bloodline

Seiichi revealed his bloodline research to Fugaku and Mikoto, then tested his eye power against Fugaku’s newly awakened Mangekyō Sharingan. The test led Seiichi to conclude that a complete Uchiha bloodline had no separate Mangekyō stage, and that the Eternal Mangekyō was simply a Mangekyō without side effects.

  • Seiichi returned home after his bloodline treatment greatly increased his physical fitness, chakra, and eye power, and Mikoto called Fugaku to see his transformation.
  • Fugaku secured their home’s secret chamber, where Seiichi shared his research and findings with his parents.
  • At Mikoto’s urging, Fugaku tested his Mangekyō Sharingan against Seiichi’s Sharingan using only eye power.
  • Fugaku told Seiichi that his eye power had already reached the Mangekyō’s level, despite his eyes still having three tomoe.
  • Seiichi concluded that a complete Uchiha bloodline had no distinct Mangekyō stage and that the Eternal Mangekyō was a Mangekyō without side effects.

Ch. 6The curtain rose on the Third Shinobi World War

Seiichi told Fugaku and Mikoto that his complete bloodline could awaken the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan naturally, then focused on experiments and building clan support while hiding his strength from Hiruzen Sarutobi. His profitable medicines and foods eased life for the Uchiha, but the chapter ended with news that Kumogakure was preparing to attack Sunagakure.

  • Seiichi explained that his complete bloodline would let him awaken the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan naturally and could eventually give every Uchiha a Three-Tomoe Sharingan.
  • Seiichi told Fugaku and Mikoto to keep the secret while he continued experimenting and quietly strengthened his parents and trusted young clansmen.
  • Seiichi developed medicines and foods, shared recipes with the Uchiha, and earned money and support within the clan.
  • Hiruzen Sarutobi felt reassured that Seiichi was occupied with his laboratory and business rather than training or organizing the Uchiha.
  • An Anbu reported that the Raikage had ordered Kumogakure to attack Sunagakure, and Hiruzen summoned Danzo, Mitokado Homura, and Utatane Koharu.

Ch. 7The Third Shinobi World War breaks out

After Kumogakure declared war on Sunagakure, Iwagakure, and Konoha, Hiruzen Sarutobi mobilized the village and sought allies. The Uchiha sent a large force to the front under Uchiha Yunhai, while Seiichi feared many would die and recalled what he knew of the war.

  • Hiruzen Sarutobi rejected Danzo's proposal to exploit Kumogakure's absence and ordered Konoha to reinforce its borders against Kumogakure and Iwagakure.
  • After Kumogakure declared war on Iwagakure and Konoha, Hiruzen Sarutobi convened the village leadership, sent envoys to seek allies, recalled ninja from missions, and ordered preparations for battle.
  • Fugaku told the Uchiha Clan that they had to deploy 1,000 ninja, including 500 jonin, and appointed Uchiha Yunhai to lead them.
  • The Uchiha force departed, and Seiichi worried that many of them would not return as reports of battlefield deaths continued.
  • Seiichi recalled that the Battle of Kannabi Bridge was the war's turning point and thought about Kakashi Hatake and Uchiha Obito.

Ch. 8Children don't need to think so much

Seiichi reflected on the Third Shinobi World War and decided not to intervene in Obito Uchiha’s fate. He encouraged young Itachi to pursue strength as a way to protect others, then gave him a packed study and training schedule as the war worsened.

  • Seiichi reviewed the war’s major deaths and wrote down Obito Uchiha’s presumed death, rescue by Madara Uchiha, and eventual turn to darkness, along with other consequences of the war.
  • Seiichi decided against changing Obito’s fate and resolved to retrieve Kakashi’s eye for the clan later.
  • Itachi asked Seiichi why people started wars, and Seiichi explained that unequal resources fueled resentment and that strength could protect peace.
  • Itachi resolved to become stronger, and Seiichi made him a rigorous daily plan for studying, exercising, and refining chakra.
  • As time passed, Konoha’s atmosphere grew bleaker, people died daily, and the Uchiha Clan suffered heavy casualties.

Ch. 9The time had come-make a move

After learning of the Uchiha Clan’s wartime losses and its aid to the families of those fighting, Seiichi used the Battle of Kannabi Bridge to sneak into Orochimaru’s secret laboratory and plunder its contents. He found the Kusanagi Sword and recovered Storage Scrolls from a white python, but the chapter ended before he could inspect what they contained.

  • Fugaku and the elders agreed to give allowances to the families of Uchiha Clan members fighting in the war while withholding the list of the dead.
  • News of the Uchiha Clan’s aid spread through the village and stirred resentment among other ninja clans.
  • After hearing that the Battle of Kannabi Bridge had begun and Konoha’s defenses were thin, Seiichi used his genjutsu to slip unnoticed toward Orochimaru’s secret base.
  • Seiichi searched Orochimaru’s laboratory and took its ninjutsu, experimental records, failure logs, and the Kusanagi Sword, filling seven Storage Scrolls.
  • Seiichi suspected Orochimaru had hidden the Hashirama cells inside a white python, forced the snake to vomit, and found Storage Scrolls in the mess.

Ch. 10The appetizers were ready-into the pot! The "Divine Medicine" was born!

Seiichi looted Orochimaru’s laboratory, planted Explosive Tags, and destroyed the site, then spent time with Shisui back at his own laboratory. As Shisui arrived with news of his own achievement, Seiichi’s layered green-and-red experiment finished merging and began changing color.

  • Seiichi took Storage Scrolls and other supplies from Orochimaru’s laboratory, planted Explosive Tags throughout it, and left before the delayed explosion erased the evidence.
  • Seiichi watched the laboratory explode from his roof with Shisui, while the village’s attention soon shifted to news that victory in the Third Shinobi World War was approaching.
  • Seiichi returned to working in his laboratory with Shisui, who kept interrupting him with questions until Seiichi told him to develop a Ninjutsu.
  • Shisui arrived excitedly to tell Seiichi he had succeeded, but found him watching a green-and-red layered liquid merge and change color in a culture dish.

Ch. 11Injecting the "Divine Medicine"

Seiichi created the Divine Medicine, a blood-adapted serum that boosted cellular activity, and had Shisui inject it into him. After ten days of treatment and consuming huge amounts of nutrient solution, Seiichi awoke on his tenth birthday.

  • Seiichi examined the Golden Liquid and identified its highly active cells as the basis for his Divine Medicine.
  • Seiichi explained the serum’s effects and blood-specific safety measures, then asked Shisui to inject it into him.
  • Shisui injected Seiichi with the Divine Medicine and spent days feeding him nutrient solution as his body changed.
  • Shisui and his Shadow Clones exhausted their supply of nutrient solution while caring for Seiichi.
  • Seiichi woke up after ten days and learned that it was his tenth birthday.

Ch. 12Seiichi's Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan

After recovering from the Divine Medicine, Seiichi discovered his greatly enhanced physical abilities and awakened a Mangekyō Sharingan with powerful Wisdom Ruler and Space Ruler abilities. He returned home, where Mikoto adjusted to his adult-sized body and invited Shisui to stay for a meal.

  • Seiichi tested his body and found his physical capabilities had increased more than tenfold, with chakra exceeding that of an Elite Jonin.
  • Seiichi awakened his Mangekyō Sharingan and learned that his left eye held Wisdom Ruler abilities while his right eye held Space Ruler.
  • Seiichi realized his new powers made him formidable but acknowledged that he still lacked combat experience and needed training.
  • Seiichi discovered he had grown to adult proportions and used his Space Ruler ability to discard laboratory trash, impressing Shisui.
  • Mikoto gave Seiichi clothes that Fugaku had never worn and told him to change before joining the family for a meal.
  • Shisui stayed at the clan head's house and watched Itachi exercise while Seiichi bathed.

Ch. 13An unexpected incident

On his birthday, Seiichi changed his appearance, took Shisui and Itachi shopping, and showed Uchiha Tumu designs for new clothes. Their outing ended when Seiichi used genjutsu to stop a Kumogakure man who charged at them, leaving the three brothers staring at the bloody trail he had scraped across the road.

  • Seiichi cut his hair, changed into a Uchiha robe, and joined Fugaku and the family for his birthday lunch.
  • Seiichi took Shisui and Itachi to buy clothes and used genjutsu to show Uchiha Tumu designs inspired by anime outfits.
  • Uchiha Tumu promised to make the new clothes and took Seiichi's measurements.
  • While the three brothers walked through Konoha, a man who recognized their Uchiha emblems charged at them, hoping to capture them for Kumogakure.
  • Seiichi cast a restraint genjutsu on the man, who fell and scraped his face along the road until he reached their feet.

Ch. 14Root? Kill Them Anyway!

Seiichi stopped Root from taking a captured man and ordered the Uchiha police force to fight Root, killing its members despite Danzo’s intervention. When Danzo ordered the arrest of the Uchiha present, Seiichi ordered them to apprehend the disguised Root members, forcing Hiruzen Sarutobi to step in as tensions threatened to become open conflict.

  • Seiichi invoked the Uchiha Clan’s authority over village security and ordered the police force to take the captured man from Root.
  • After Root members attacked Seiichi, he ordered the police force to take them down dead or alive, and their combined Fire Release overwhelmed Root’s Water Formation Wall.
  • Danzo arrived and ordered the police force to stop, but they continued attacking until the Root members were reduced to charred bodies.
  • Danzo ordered Root to apprehend the Uchiha Clan members, and Seiichi countered by ordering the Uchiha to arrest anyone concealing their identity who was not Anbu.
  • Hiruzen Sarutobi ordered everyone to stop and secretly resolved that the Uchiha Clan could no longer be allowed to remain.

Ch. 15At daggers drawn

Uchiha Seiichi challenged Hiruzen Sarutobi’s attempt to blame the Uchiha for the confrontation, arguing that Root violated the rules and that the Konoha Military Police Force had jurisdiction over public order. Hiruzen tried to end the standoff by calling on Fugaku, but Fugaku backed Seiichi’s authority instead of taking him home.

  • Danzo ordered Root to attack and summon reinforcements, but Hiruzen Sarutobi signaled him to stand down.
  • Hiruzen Sarutobi failed to recognize the transformed Seiichi at first, then accused him of stirring up a riot and tried to make an issue of the people who had died.
  • Seiichi challenged Hiruzen Sarutobi to explain Root’s legality and outlined the Anbu’s duties, prompting onlookers to recognize how the Anbu had taken over the Konoha Military Police Force’s work.
  • Seiichi invoked the agreement between Tobirama Senju and the Uchiha Clan, insisting that the Konoha Military Police Force had authority over Konoha’s public order and security.
  • Hiruzen Sarutobi tried to dismiss everyone and send Seiichi home with Fugaku, but Fugaku said he had to respect Seiichi’s opinion as the Uchiha Clan’s young clan leader and a Konoha Military Police Force adviser.

Ch. 16Slap, slap, slap-smacking Hiruzen Sarutobi across the face

Uchiha Seiichi confronted Hiruzen Sarutobi over the Hokage’s attempted changes to the Konoha Military Police Force’s rules and ordered the arrest and inspection of Root personnel. Hiruzen stopped Danzo from resisting but then faced Seiichi’s demand that Root be disbanded, leaving the organization’s fate unresolved.

  • Hiruzen Sarutobi called the dispute a misunderstanding and apologized, but Seiichi mocked him and led the crowd in applause.
  • Seiichi cited the agreement with the Second Hokage that protected the Konoha Military Police Force’s regulations from alteration by future Hokage.
  • Seiichi ordered the Konoha Military Police Force to arrest and identify the concealed non-Anbu personnel, including Root members.
  • Hiruzen ordered Danzo and Root not to resist, and the Root members allowed the force to restrain them.
  • Seiichi challenged Danzo’s authority to maintain a private armed force, so Hiruzen claimed he had established Root to relay intelligence.
  • Seiichi argued that Hiruzen could recruit more Anbu but could not privately establish an armed organization, invoking the Second Hokage’s prohibition.

Ch. 17Breaking Danzo's "Leg"

Seiichi pressured Hiruzen Sarutobi to disband Root rather than give Danzo authority over the Anbu, citing Tobirama Senju’s order. Afterward, Danzo and the other advisors agreed that the Uchiha Clan had to be eradicated, while Seiichi returned home to dinner with his family.

  • Seiichi suggested expanding the Anbu and temporarily assigning Danzo some of its authority, but Hiruzen Sarutobi knew he could not safely give Danzo control over it.
  • Hiruzen Sarutobi declared Root disbanded, allowing its members to join the Anbu after screening or return to ordinary ninja lives.
  • The clan leaders present feared that Danzo would try to destroy the Uchiha Clan after Seiichi had dismantled Root, and they expected conflict after the war.
  • Seiichi and Fugaku returned to the Uchiha Clan Compound, where Seiichi went home with Shisui and Itachi to eat dinner with Mikoto.
  • Danzo called for the Uchiha Clan’s destruction, and Hiruzen Sarutobi, Mitokado Homura, and Utatane Koharu agreed with him.

Ch. 18The "Artificial God" project begins!

Hiruzen Sarutobi weighed the risks of a future war against the Uchiha Clan while Seiichi began testing his genetic enhancement on his family and selected clan members. As four recipients slept through the injections, Seiichi prepared to strengthen himself for the coming internal war.

  • Hiruzen Sarutobi delayed plans for a civil war until after the conflict and worried that Seiichi might awaken his Mangekyō Sharingan if his loved ones were killed.
  • Seiichi showed Fugaku, Mikoto, and Itachi the 'Key' and unfinished 'Divine Medicine' and explained the options for receiving the injections.
  • Seiichi summoned Shisui and seven Uchiha women to help take over the treatment work, then injected Fugaku with the 'Key'.
  • Seiichi and the assistants arranged for Fugaku and three others to sleep and receive care, including Nutrient Solution through funnels.
  • Seiichi left the laboratory to prepare for the impending internal war and focus on developing his Mangekyō Sharingan abilities.

Ch. 19Oh, so that was how it was!

Seiichi ordered the Uchiha Clan to train and strengthen its forces while the village’s leaders grew wary of the clan’s preparations. After Fugaku awakened, he revealed his Mangekyō Sharingan abilities, and Seiichi suspected Fugaku’s Heart-Questioning Genjutsu had influenced Itachi’s decision to destroy the clan.

  • Seiichi ordered Uchiha Chunin and Jonin to use Shadow Clones for duties while training, and had Genin and clan members outside the village return for training.
  • The Uchiha Clan opened its B-rank and lower ninjutsu to its members and covered their allowances and training resources for one year.
  • Hiruzen Sarutobi learned of the Uchiha’s preparations, but held back from acting because the first side to start a war would be disadvantaged.
  • Seiichi appeared in Fugaku’s room and explained that his Mangekyō Sharingan granted mental growth through his left eye and space-time ninjutsu through his right.
  • Fugaku revealed that his eyes gave him future sight and Heart-Questioning Genjutsu, which let people understand their own desires.
  • Seiichi suspected Fugaku had used the genjutsu on Itachi and warned him to use it only for immobilization, not on their own people.

Ch. 20Mangekyō Sharingan owners +1; Shun Shun Rikka?!

After Mikoto awakened her Mangekyō Sharingan, Seiichi realized her healing ability could reject all negative states, making it potentially vital to the Uchiha Clan. Shisui and Itachi hoped to awaken Mangekyō too, and Seiichi expected Shisui’s evolution to happen soon.

  • Seiichi told Fugaku that the clan was using Shadow Clones to work while their real bodies trained, and Fugaku warned him not to provoke Hiruzen Sarutobi's side too much.
  • Mikoto, Shisui, and Itachi recovered from their training, and Mikoto revealed that she thought she had awakened the Mangekyō Sharingan.
  • Mikoto manifested her Mangekyō Sharingan and identified its abilities as the left eye's Front Shield, which defended against and reflected ninjutsu, and the right eye's Reverse Shield, which healed by rejecting negative states.
  • Seiichi urged Mikoto to examine the full scope of Reverse Shield, then explained that it might reject effects beyond ordinary injuries, such as blindness, aging, or even death.
  • Shisui and Itachi expressed their desire to awaken Mangekyō, and Seiichi said Shisui already had enough eye power and might soon surprise Hiruzen Sarutobi.

Ch. 21Everyone tested Susanoo! (Part one)

Seiichi took Fugaku, Mikoto, Shisui, and Itachi outside Konoha to test Susanoo, where Mikoto and Fugaku demonstrated their abilities. Fugaku had reached Susanoo's fourth stage and began testing its weapons.

  • Seiichi urged Shisui and Itachi to train their own strength instead of relying only on the Mangekyō Sharingan, and Fugaku encouraged them to awaken theirs.
  • Mikoto found that her Mangekyō eye power recovered steadily, and Seiichi advised her to avoid advancing Susanoo beyond its third stage.
  • Seiichi teleported the group to a deserted area near the ruins of the Land of Whirlpools so they could test Susanoo.
  • Mikoto formed her purplish-red Susanoo through its third stage, tested its movement, attacks, and defenses, then dismissed it when her eyes felt uncomfortable.
  • Fugaku formed a dark blackish-red Susanoo and reached its fourth stage, which had legs and a naginata; he began testing its broad swings.

Ch. 22Everyone tested Susanoo! (Part two)

Seiichi demonstrated his Susanoo, rapidly reaching its 300-meter-tall Perfect Susanoo and revealing a powerful saber with unique abilities. He tested its weapons by slicing off a mountain peak and firing its tomoe, then began forming a large chakra sphere in its palm.

  • Fugaku tested his Susanoo by throwing explosive darts at the mountain, then returned to the others.
  • Seiichi rapidly evolved his Susanoo into its enormous fifth stage, the Perfect Susanoo, astonishing Fugaku, Mikoto, Shisui, and Itachi.
  • Seiichi discovered that his Susanoo wielded a saber named Shusui Parting Clouds, which had powerful destructive and evil-breaking abilities.
  • Seiichi swung the saber and sent a sword-energy slash into the mountain, cleanly cutting off its peak.
  • Seiichi's Susanoo threw the nine tomoe from its necklace, then formed a huge purplish-black energy sphere in its palm.

Ch. 23The war ended

Seiichi demonstrated his newly gained power to Fugaku and his family, while Konoha announced victory and welcomed the war-weary troops home. The chapter left the Uchiha facing heavy losses as Seiichi resolved to keep provoking Hiruzen Sarutobi.

  • Seiichi used a Tailed Beast Bomb to destroy a mountain, tested his Susanoo and flight, then returned to the Uchiha Clan Compound with his family.
  • Hiruzen Sarutobi announced Konoha's victory, and Danzo and the other elders prepared to act while the Uchiha remained silent.
  • Seiichi told Fugaku and Mikoto he would keep getting on Hiruzen Sarutobi's nerves, and Fugaku assured him the clan would stand with him.
  • Minato Namikaze and the returning commanders met Hiruzen Sarutobi, who praised them and sent them home to rest before giving their reports.
  • Fugaku, Seiichi, and the Uchiha elders welcomed back 626 clan members; the clan had lost nearly forty percent of its thousand fighters, with many survivors injured or disabled.

Ch. 24The excited Uchiha elders

Seiichi announced generous benefits for Uchiha who returned from battle and their families, then met with Fugaku and the elders to discuss the clan’s finances and his awakened eyes. The elders learned that Seiichi possessed the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan and Fugaku had the Mangekyō Sharingan, leaving them confident in the clan’s future.

  • Fugaku invited Seiichi to address the clan members who had returned from battle, while positioning him as the future clan leader.
  • Seiichi multiplied allowances and benefits for wounded and disabled fighters, promised support for the families of the dead, and threatened anyone who stole their money.
  • Seiichi, Fugaku, and the ten elders met; Uchiha Gangmu estimated the clan could sustain its spending for five years, and Seiichi said the current benefits would last about a year.
  • Seiichi demonstrated his Sharingan, and the elders recognized it as the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan.
  • Fugaku revealed his Mangekyō Sharingan, and the elders stopped worrying about the clan’s finances and prospects.

Ch. 25A meeting of the leadership: Seiichi raises a challenge

At Konoha’s postwar leadership meeting, Seiichi represented the Uchiha Clan and announced that he intended to reclaim its Sharingan from outsiders. The meeting ended with everyone waiting to hear what action he would demand.

  • Hiruzen Sarutobi opened the meeting and noticed that the Uchiha seat was empty.
  • Seiichi arrived late in place of his unwell father, Fugaku, and shared Uchiha meat buns with Choza Akimichi.
  • Minato Namikaze spoke about the war and the Will of Fire before Hiruzen Sarutobi reviewed postwar matters and clan subsidies.
  • Seiichi interrupted Hiruzen Sarutobi’s attempt to adjourn and wondered why no one had discussed choosing a Fourth Hokage.
  • Seiichi announced that he intended to reclaim the Uchiha Clan’s Sharingan held by outsiders, leaving the meeting unsure what he meant.

Ch. 26This was not up for negotiation!

Seiichi refused Minato and Kakashi’s pleas to let Kakashi keep Obito’s Sharingan, insisting that the Uchiha Clan’s rules required its return. Hiruzen Sarutobi and Minato recognized that Seiichi would not negotiate, while privately doubting his claim that only a unanimous clan-wide vote could change the rule.

  • Kakashi declared that he would not surrender the Sharingan Obito had entrusted to him, prompting Hiruzen Sarutobi to intervene.
  • Hiruzen appealed to Seiichi to respect the bond between Kakashi and Obito, and Minato recounted how Obito and Rin had died after Kakashi lost an eye.
  • Minato and Kakashi bowed and asked Seiichi to let the Sharingan remain with Kakashi.
  • Seiichi expressed sympathy but said the Uchiha Clan’s Kekkei Genkai could not remain with an outsider, and claimed only a unanimous clan-wide vote could make an exception.
  • Hiruzen and Minato accepted that Seiichi would not yield, though they privately dismissed his claim that a unanimous vote was necessary.
