  • Gengetsu ordered the Kumogakure delegation killed after its ninja tried to abduct a Hyuga Main Family child, rejecting Hiruzen Sarutobi’s plea to release them and avert war.
  • The Fourth Raikage sent Kumogakure’s army into the Land of Fire with help from Danzo’s Root, while Hiruzen Sarutobi and his advisers waited for Gengetsu to lose power.
  • Gengetsu led Konoha’s counterattack alone, fought the Fourth Raikage, Killer B, Yugito Nii, and their tailed beasts, then recovered from grave injuries and bound the beasts with Wood Release.
