Under countless stares that looked as though they had seen a ghost, Wang Zhuo worked his hips and strutted into the arena with an outrageously flamboyant swagger that acknowledged no one.
The absurd BGM behind him blasted throughout the arena.
The referee's reprimand caught in his throat, his eyes bulging as though he had spotted some bizarre, unknown creature.
Wang Zhuo strutted along with flair. Halfway there, he waved his left hand toward the referee's stand, then approached Jia Zhengliang, struck an outrageously flamboyant pose with his hands on his hips, and lifted the other man's chin.
"Oi~ baby, is anyone harassing you here?"
"You fucking..." Jia Zhengliang, who had been on the phone, stared with bloodshot eyes and nearly crushed his phone.
"My eyes! My eyes!!!" Hidden Dragon covered his eyes and wailed nonstop.
"What the hell did I just see? My eyes have been utterly defiled!"
The phone Bai Shixue had been recording with fell to the ground with a smack, and she stood petrified.
What the fuck did I just see?!!
Even the perpetually squinting Zhuge Qing opened his eyes wide, looking as though he had seen a ghost.
"Could a carbon-based life-form even come up with this?!"
"I lost. I've been utterly defeated." Zhang Chulan covered his face and wailed.
"He fucking dared to do something I can't even bear to watch! What's No-Swaying Shamelessness compared to this? This guy doesn't even have any shame to begin with!"
"No, he's surpassed the limits of humanity. He's not human anymore!"
Xu Si hung his mouth open, speechless for a long while. "Holy fuck, Zhang Chulan, this guy is the Grandmaster! Your little No-Swaying Shamelessness tricks don't even compare."
"This is even more fucking impressive than dropping your pants and taking a shit on the spot."
Crack!
Feng Shayan stood petrified. For some reason, she heard something breaking in her heart.
Where was that elegant, handsome guy from this morning?!
Where had that whole handsome, untouchable guy of mine gone?!
Who the fuck are you?!
Did someone possess you?!
Feng Zhenghao's glasses shattered with a crack. "My daughter, have I been pushing you too hard...?"
"After giving it some thought, I'm actually not that concerned about you getting married..."
"These things have to come down to fate."
He genuinely suspected now that the pressure he had put on his daughter had made her so desperate she would take anyone.
Although he did not care about status or class, he still had his dignity to consider.
"Th-the match begins!!!" Coming to his senses, the referee immediately shouted. Right now, he wished he were blind so he would not have to witness something so offensive to the eyes.
The three instantly put distance between themselves and Wang Zhuo, each looking more miserable than if he had eaten shit.
"Oi~ leaving me so soon? You'll break my heart~"
"Fuck your heart! Die!" The two nobodies thrust their weapons at him, not caring in the slightest whether this was a match.
They had only one thought now: kill this fucking prick.
Hum!
But then something bizarre happened, and everyone's pupils contracted sharply at the strange sight.
The two weapons hurled with all their strength actually hung suspended in midair. They were less than half a meter from Wang Zhuo, yet could not advance another inch.
"Try a little harder. You're going to bore me at this rate~" Wang Zhuo stood with both hands in his pockets, arrogant beyond measure.
"H-how is this possible?!"
"What kind of trick is this guy using?!"
The two Outsiders were utterly horrified. Seeing a ghost would have been easier to accept than the sight before them.
"What?!" Zhang Chulan's pupils contracted sharply, and Xu San's and Xu Si's expressions grew serious as well.
Xu San said, "Could it be some kind of protective art? But there's no movement in his Qi Body. That's impossible..."
Xu Si clicked his tongue. "Where the hell did this monster come from?"
Even those who had been preparing to leave stared down into the arena in horror.
"You can block one side, but I don't believe you can defend every angle!"
At the sight, Jia Zhengliang flung out twelve flying knives, sending them sweeping in from overhead and every direction.
He mobilized his Qi Body with everything he had, devoting nearly all his strength to controlling the knives.
Not to be outdone, the other two Outsiders quickly retrieved their weapons and simply held them as they charged in this time.
Hum!
But something even stranger followed. This time, the twelve flying knives did not even reach the half-meter mark, forcibly suspended a meter away instead.
The two Outsiders gripped their hilts and slashed, only to get stuck at the one-meter mark as well.
"A wall?!"
"What's going on?!"
"There's an invisible wall in front of him!"
The two cried out in shock, their earlier anger replaced by fear, their hands trembling around their hilts.
As an Object Manipulator, Jia Zhengliang had a much clearer sense of what separated the two sides, which made him all the more horrified.
That was no wall at all!
The distance between him and that man had been stretched infinitely!
The twelve flying knives were still charging forward; the naked eye simply could not see it.
The man was right before his eyes, yet he simply could not break through.
Jia Zhengliang might have been a country bumpkin, but he was not stupid. "This is a spatial ability! Yours isn't a wall at all, is it?!"
"My twelve flying knives haven't been blocked! You've stretched the distance infinitely!"
"Oh, not bad." Wang Zhuo raised the corners of his mouth and extended both hands, holding his index fingers upright before his eyes.
"Let me give you a simple explanation. This is the art I was born with as an innate Outsider: the Limitless Cursed Technique."
"Simply put, there's a layer of invisible Void around me. It can infinitely extend the distance between me and everything outside. The closer something gets to me, the stronger the pressure and the slower time flows."
He moved his left index finger halfway toward his right, and his right index finger immediately moved away from the left.
"It's like traveling halfway, then having to travel another halfway, and another halfway after that, going on endlessly. In short, the Limitless Cursed Technique."
Limitless?!!!
Those words left everyone's heads buzzing.
How could something so absurd be possible, and what Outsider art could accomplish it?!
Surely this went beyond all reason!
"Infinitely extending the distance? How is that possible?" Zhuge Qing frowned.
"Wouldn't that mean any attack is meaningless against him, because it's impossible to get close to him in the first place? This is a complete paradox."
Zhang Lingyu clenched his fists. He had never felt such an intense sense of danger. These people could not even force the man to show his abilities, which meant his strength was beyond imagination.
Feng Shayan's pupils trembled. As a spatial Outsider herself, she understood this sort of problem better than anyone.
"Someone can actually accomplish something that transcends a paradox!"
She had considered this approach before and had even put effort into it, but success had been utterly impossible.
Because infinity meant infinite qi, and that was simply impossible to achieve.
"Where did this little monster come from...?" Feng Zhenghao clicked his tongue. He understood all too well how terrifying this ability was.
Zhang Chulan stood dumbfounded, muttering nonstop, "Achilles and the tortoise... the Dichotomy Paradox... how is this possible...?"
