Background / History
Wang Zhuo was reborn from 2025 into a family in Shanghai. His father, Wang Zhenguo, was a military man who immediately hoped his son would serve the country. His second granduncle recognized him as a born Outsider and attributed his talent to a distant ancestor who, according to the family records, had practiced immortal arts and attained the Dao 1 2.
At six years old, Wang Zhuo defeated ten special forces soldiers without disturbing his clothing or hair. His strength and loyalty subsequently earned him favorable treatment during military training, while his knowledge from his previous life helped his family prosper in business and politics 1 2.
By his sophomore year at National Defense University, he was assigned to attend Mount Longhu’s Luotian Grand Ceremony. His orders were to represent the country and make clear that the extraordinary community should not challenge national authority 2.
His military affiliation also served a personal purpose: protecting his family from powerful Outsiders. With state support and favorable policies, his family’s East Sea Group grew toward a public listing and ultimately became a state-owned company 12.
Appearance
Wang Zhuo has naturally silver-white hair, azure-blue eyes, and a muscular physique. He commonly conceals his eyes with a blindfold 1 2.
- Height: 186 centimeters 2.
- Build: Broad shoulders, a narrow waist, and eight-pack abdominal muscles 2 30.
- Eyes: Described at birth as azure-blue double pupils; their penetrating quality makes others feel that their thoughts cannot be hidden 1 32.
- Clothing: Appears in a black sleeveless shirt early on and later wears spotless white Daoist robes 2 37.
- Transformed appearance: Can become five-colored mist or a featureless golden-light figure wearing robes formed from colored radiance 43 46.
Personality
Wang Zhuo is irreverent, flirtatious, and fond of theatrical displays. He introduces himself with deliberately misleading credentials, dances into a tournament match with a boombox, and repeatedly undermines his own image as an exalted master with jokes and pranks. His apparent frivolity conceals considerable combat ability and close attention to other people’s behavior 4 9 31 47.
He is fiercely protective of those he considers family. He confronts Wang Ai and Lu Ci over Zhang Chulan’s treatment, shields Feng Baobao from Xi, and reminds Zhang Chulan not to lose sight of his original wishes. His loyalty often comes packaged with insults, teasing, or opportunistic jokes at his friends’ expense 20 21 28 30.
He openly rejects the hypocrisy of supposedly righteous sects, arguing that their pursuit of the Thirty-Six Thieves concealed greed for extraordinary arts. His judgments can also be intensely personal: he describes people who treat him well as good and those who treat him badly as evil 20 27.
Despite his cheerful exterior, he feels isolated by his displacement from his original world. His conversation with Feng Baobao reveals a desire to grow strong enough to break the barrier between worlds and return home. He also favors sharing knowledge rather than hoarding it, imagining a future in which everyone—not merely a single cultivator—can attain immortality 40 44 49.
Abilities & Skills
Six Eyes
His eyes provide exceptional perception and comprehension, allowing him to analyze techniques despite his usual blindfold 26 31.
- Reproduces Lu Jin’s Five Ghost Technique immediately after watching it 26.
- Tracks attacks during his battle with Liu Kunsheng 36.
- Uses spatial perception, correctly identified by Zhi Jinhua during the bonfire guessing game 31.
- Continues observing spectators’ reactions while in his transformed golden-light body 46.
Limitless and Spatial Techniques
Wang Zhuo identifies his ability to create a space that rejects matter and energy as one of his innate Limitless Sorcerer abilities 36.
- Defensive barrier: Stops weapons, Wang Bing’s claw strike, and Xi’s reaching hand before they can touch him 10 16 28.
- Teleportation: Carries Zhang Chulan and Feng Baobao across a cliff; later moves too abruptly for the assembled elders to track momentarily 5 23.
- Domain Expansion: Produces an expanding azure boundary. Liu Kunsheng experiences immense heaviness within it and perceives space and time as rejecting him 35.
- Blue: Accelerates his movement, including in combination with the Rabbit Talisman 35 36.
Devil Fruit and Elemental Powers
Wang Zhuo possesses numerous Devil Fruit abilities, including every Logia Devil Fruit within his body. Before his later cultivation breakthrough, their source powers competed within his meridians and organs 25 40 43.
- Lightning: Uses the Rumble-Rumble Fruit for high-speed movement and attacks; forms a ranged Thunder Heart Spear 11 35.
- Thunderfire: Coats a saber in blue thunderfire and fires rapid projectiles from his fingertips with Fire Pistol 11 36.
- Ice transformation: Turns a person into solid ice rather than merely freezing their cells and organs. He states that the subject can remain alive indefinitely if kept frozen, then resume aging after thawing 24.
- Plant manipulation: Uses the Woods-Woods Fruit to grow attacking grass and restraining vines 45.
- Elemental bodies: Disperses into wind, reforms, and changes into colored mist and animal shapes 43.
Twelve Talismans and Regeneration
The Twelve Talismans reinforce his already extensive abilities and remove a major source of bodily instability 3 25.
- Tiger Talisman: Balances yin and yang, ending the partial bodily breakdown previously caused by overusing his powers 25.
- Rabbit Talisman: Provides acceleration during combat 36.
- Reverse Cursed Technique: Previously repaired the damage caused when his body could not endure excessive ability use 25.
- Demon King abilities: Received after defeating Wang Bing. Wang Zhuo later describes himself as ageless, indestructible, and having overcome the sun through his combined enhancements 15 16 39.
Haki and Additional Combat Techniques
His system offers top-tier mastery of the three types of Haki, although the supplied battles specifically show Conqueror’s Haki in use 9 28.
- Conqueror’s Haki: Sends Xi flying amid black-and-red electricity 28.
- Dismantle: Launches numerous invisible cutting attacks; Liu Kunsheng blocks them with black mist 35.
- Black Flash: Uses the technique during his spar with Liu Kunsheng 35.
- Five Ghost Technique: Summons five black-mist ghosts and later uses them to stop Liu Kunsheng’s Clear Wind Ghost General 26 36.
- Transparent World: Listed among his existing enhancements 39.
- Sun Breathing and Demon Slayer Mark: Offered alongside Transparent World for buying Feng Baobao ten strings of cheap glass beads; their combat use is not shown in the supplied passages 3 4.
Martial Arts and Physical Strength
His physical abilities were exceptional well before his appearance at Mount Longhu 1.
- Fights Jia Zhengliang and his twelve flying knives using close combat and a borrowed steel saber 11.
- Uses Formalwear, swinging Wang Bing by one ankle like human nunchucks through wrist strength alone, without mobilizing Qi 16.
- Incorporates Iron Mountain Lean, Xingyi Bengquan, Baji Mountain-Leaning Strike, Pigua Palms, and Tai Chi Cloud Hands into his battles 36 45.
- Combines martial movements with elemental reinforcement, including earth Qi for bodily strength and water Qi for redirecting force 45.
Five Refinements of Returning to the Hidden
Wang Zhuo’s self-created Profound-grade cultivation method fuses Threefold Reversal and the Five Viscera Skill. Rather than commanding separate elemental powers, he makes his body a complete five-element system 43.
| Organ | Associated Element | Documented Application |
|---|---|---|
| Liver | Wood | Part of the method’s organ reconstruction scheme 49. |
| Heart | Fire | Part of the method’s organ reconstruction scheme 49. |
| Spleen | Earth | Strengthens his body for a Baji strike 45. |
| Lungs | Metal | Produces wind blades 45. |
| Kidneys | Water | Circulates through his body while he attempts to deflect a claw attack 45. |
- Foundation: Uses True Qi to shred and dismantle the five major organs and six hollow organs before reconstructing the five major organs according to the elemental correspondences 49.
- Result: Brings elemental generation, restraint, control, and transformation under his will 43.
- Danger: He tells Lu Jin that there is no gentler version of the method 50.
- Combat limit: Sustained exchanges with Zhang Lingyu strain his internal five-element cycle 45.
- Three Qi Return: The name he gives his colored-cloud transformation during the match with Zhang Lingyu 46.
Five-Finger Fist-Heart Sword
A sword-Qi technique devised during his enlightenment. Each completed successive sword increases in power 46 47.
| Sword | Demonstrated Effect |
|---|---|
| First | A half-meter pale-green sword light cuts a mark into Zhang Lingyu’s Water Viscera Thunder 47. |
| Second | Tears through the watery lightning and is barely stopped by the lightning net outside the Golden Light Mantra 47. |
| Third | Three times as powerful and fast as the second; breaks through both lightning defenses and cracks the Golden Light Mantra 47. |
| Fourth | Four times as powerful as the third; penetrates the Golden Light Mantra and vanishes just before cutting Zhang Lingyu’s chest 47. |
| Fifth | Unfinished. Wang Zhuo announces it as a bluff, then rushes in and slaps Zhang Lingyu to the ground 47. |
