  • Shinichi led the Hyuga Clan to the Land of Rice Fields, where Hashirama built their homes and a defensive wall with Wood Release.
  • When supplies ran short, Shinichi promised to clear the country of bandits and wandering ninja within six months, and the Hyuga squads carried out the mission.
  • With the roads made safe, merchants and settlers arrived, and Hyuga Village gained wealth and trade, and Tobirama saw its growth as a threat and resolved that it could not keep developing.
Chapters 1–25 Vol. 1 Read

Ch. 1I Didn't Transmigrate Here to Be a Dog!

After the Hyuga Clan announced it would join Konoha, Shinichi Hyuga reflected on the wars to come and resolved to escape the Branch Family’s oppression by building his own village. He planned to awaken the Tenseigan with his system’s gift, but first needed a safe place where neither the Hyuga nor the Ōtsutsuki Clan on the moon would notice.

  • Nissei Hyuga announced that the Hyuga Clan would relocate to Konoha in three days, while Branch Family members wondered whether the move would bring peace.
  • Shinichi recalled his past life as a Naruto fanfiction novelist and how he had awakened in the body of a sixteen-year-old Branch Family Chunin burdened by the Caged Bird Seal.
  • Shinichi remembered Hashirama Senju and Madara Uchiha’s reconciliation and the founding of Konoha, events he knew from Naruto’s history.
  • Shinichi received a system gift that could awaken the Tenseigan, an eye powerful enough to make him hope he could escape the Caged Bird Seal.
  • Shinichi rejected serving either the Hyuga Main Family or Konoha and decided he could build his own village.
  • Shinichi resolved to find a safe place to awaken the Tenseigan without being detected by the Hyuga Clan or the Ōtsutsuki Clan on the moon.

Ch. 2Wasn't the Branch Family Just the Main Family's Slaves?

Shinichi awakened the Tenseigan in a hidden cave, removed his Caged Bird Seal, and discovered its immense power came with a heavy chakra cost. Back at the compound, he challenged his uncle over the Branch Family’s subservience to the Main Family and began revealing that his seal was gone.

  • Shinichi entered a concealed cave and used his beginner’s gift to awaken the Tenseigan before the system unbound itself and disappeared.
  • Shinichi found that the Tenseigan had erased his Caged Bird Seal and granted him extraordinary vision, attraction, and repulsion abilities, though using it quickly drained his strength.
  • Shinichi decided to act that night, aiming to eliminate the Main Family and win the Branch Family’s support through his uncle, the Branch Family head.
  • Shinichi asked his uncle why the Branch Family protected the Main Family, then called the arrangement slavery.
  • His uncle pulled Shinichi inside and warned him that the Main Family could use the Caged Bird Seal to destroy his Byakugan or kill him.
  • Shinichi silently untied the white cloth covering his forehead.

Ch. 3Blades in Hand, Follow Me, Slaughter Every Main Family Dog!

Shinichi revealed to his uncle that he had removed the Caged Bird Seal and awakened the Tenseigan, then announced his plan to kill the Main Family and end the seal system. At midnight, he rallied the branch family members outside the ancestral hall and led them toward the Main Family compound.

  • Shinichi showed his uncle his unmarked forehead and Tenseigan, claiming his bloodline had evolved beyond the Byakugan.
  • Shinichi told his uncle he would kill the Main Family and abolish the Caged Bird Seal, and asked him to gather the branch family fighters at midnight.
  • Shinichi's uncle agreed to organize the fighters and meet at the ancestral hall.
  • At midnight, Shinichi addressed the gathered branch family members, describing their exploitation and warning that their children would inherit the Caged Bird Seal unless they acted.
  • Shinichi promised to handle the Main Family while the branch family guarded the compound and prevented anyone from escaping.
  • Shinichi drew his kunai and urged the branch family to follow him and attack the Main Family.

Ch. 4The Caged Bird Seal Doesn't Work on You?

Shinichi entered the Hyuga Main Family compound after the Branch Family refused to follow his order to attack, and the Caged Bird Seal failed to affect him. He killed Clan Head Nissei Hyuga and the elders who tried to stop him, after which the Branch Family members finally entered the compound.

  • Shinichi ordered the Branch Family members to kill the Main Family, but they stayed back as he entered the compound alone.
  • A Main Family elder tried the Caged Bird Seal on Shinichi, but it had no effect, and Shinichi killed him.
  • Shinichi killed three more Main Family members after one tried to use the seal against the Branch Family outside the walls.
  • Nissei Hyuga warned Shinichi that Konoha would never tolerate him, but Shinichi killed Nissei and another elder who threatened the Branch Family.
  • After witnessing Nissei's death, the Branch Family members crossed into the Main Family compound.

Ch. 5I have a wish!

Shinichi led the Hyuga branch family in overthrowing the Main Family and declared that the clan would build its own village, free of the Caged Bird Seal. The chapter ended with the crowd embracing him as clan leader and believing the Hyuga could surpass Konoha.

  • Shinichi broke the arms of the two Main Family members trying to escape and dragged them to the courtyard beside Nissei Hyuga's corpse.
  • Shinichi ordered the branch family members to cut the captured Main Family members, and they each took part until both men died.
  • The branch family members called Shinichi their clan leader, and he announced that the Main Family had been overthrown and the Caged Bird Seal could no longer be activated.
  • Shinichi declared that the Hyuga would build their own village, abolish the Main and branch family divide, and let every child learn the clan's techniques.
  • Shinichi revealed his pale blue eyes and proclaimed himself the Hyuga's strongest ninja, prompting the crowd to loudly acclaim him as clan leader.

Ch. 6Short on Money!

After the Hyuga Clan agreed to join Konoha, Hashirama, Tobirama, and Madara discussed welcoming them, unaware that Shinichi had already led the branch family in overthrowing the Main Family. Shinichi discovered the clan lacked the money and territory to build its own village and faced deciding how to handle Konoha’s arrival in two days.

  • A Hyuga ninja delivered the clan leader’s letter confirming that the Hyuga Clan would join Konoha and relocate in two days.
  • Hashirama planned to welcome the Hyuga, while Tobirama suspected they wanted Konoha’s protection and Madara dismissed their Byakugan and refused to accompany Hashirama.
  • At the Hyuga Clan Compound, Shinichi ordered his eldest uncle and branch family ninja to inventory the Main Family’s storehouse.
  • Shinichi learned the clan had over three thousand people, more than three hundred and sixty ninja, thirty million ryo, several months of grain, weapons, secret technique scrolls, and a lucrative commission ledger.
  • Shinichi concluded the clan could not afford to build a village, lacked suitable territory, and had to decide what to tell Hashirama when he arrived in two days.

Ch. 7Madara: I'll Wipe Them Out!

Shinichi Hyuga refused Hashirama Senju’s offer to bring the Hyuga Clan into Konoha, saying they would establish their own village. Hashirama returned to Konoha with the news, and Madara Uchiha threatened to wipe out the Hyuga.

  • Hashirama Senju arrived at the Hyuga compound and learned that Shinichi Hyuga had killed the clan leader and elders and taken leadership.
  • Shinichi rejected Hashirama’s invitation to join Konoha, saying the Hyuga would build their own village and protect their children themselves.
  • Hashirama recognized Shinichi’s eyes as the Tenseigan and left, telling him Konoha’s gates would remain open.
  • Hashirama told Tobirama Senju that the Hyuga planned to establish their own shinobi village.
  • Madara Uchiha declared that he would wipe out the Hyuga.

Ch. 8Establishing the village in the Land of Rice Fields!

Shinichi chose the Land of Rice Fields as a place for the Hyuga Clan to establish a village and led a small party north to negotiate with its daimyo. He crossed the border at the Valley of the End, while Madara and Tobirama opposed letting the Hyuga build a rival village in the Land of Fire.

  • Hashirama stopped Madara from confronting the Hyuga, while Tobirama judged that the clan could not be allowed to establish a village in the Land of Fire.
  • Shinichi concluded that the Hyuga should leave the Land of Fire and chose the Land of Rice Fields for its food, weak local forces, and strategic location.
  • Shinichi ordered his eldest uncle to guard the compound, continue preparations, and recall the Hyuga ninja away on missions.
  • Shinichi departed with Scarface and three other branch family ninja to meet the daimyo of the Land of Rice Fields.
  • The party reached the Valley of the End at dusk, and Shinichi crossed into the Land of Rice Fields.

Ch. 9I came to save the Land of Rice Fields!

Shinichi Hyuga led his group to the capital of the Land of Rice Fields and secured an audience with its anxious daimyo. After the daimyo questioned his reasons for coming, Shinichi declared that he had come to save the country.

  • Shinichi and his group reached the poor capital of the Land of Rice Fields, where Scar warned him that the wandering ninja were unreliable.
  • At the palace gate, Shinichi presented his visiting card, and the guards recognized him as the leader of the Hyuga Clan.
  • The daimyo, alarmed by news that the Senju and Uchiha had founded Konoha, hurried to welcome Shinichi personally.
  • During their meeting, Shinichi gave the daimyo cautious, incomplete answers about the Hyuga Clan and Konoha.
  • The daimyo asked what had brought Shinichi to the Land of Rice Fields, and Shinichi said he had come to save it.

Ch. 10The Land of Fire Had Konoha, the Land of Rice Fields Had the Hyuga!

Shinichi warned the daimyo of the Land of Rice Fields that Konoha and other shinobi villages would leave small nations vulnerable, then proposed that the Hyuga establish a village in his country. The daimyo recognized that the Hyuga expected something in return and asked Shinichi what the clan wanted.

  • Shinichi told the daimyo that Konoha, backed by the Land of Fire, would eventually threaten the Land of Rice Fields.
  • Shinichi argued that small nations without shinobi villages would be helpless against the great nations and their ninja forces.
  • The daimyo dismissed his attendants and asked Shinichi what the Land of Rice Fields should do.
  • Shinichi proposed that the Hyuga establish a shinobi village in the Land of Rice Fields, declaring that the Land of Fire had Konoha and the Land of Rice Fields would have the Hyuga.
  • The daimyo realized the Hyuga expected a substantial benefit in return and asked Shinichi what the clan wanted.

Ch. 11Hyuga Village's Taxes Were Waived!

Shinichi secured the Land of Rice Fields' recognition of Hyuga Village, control over the country's ninja, a site for the village, annual funding, and a complete tax exemption. After receiving the signed agreement, he told his group to return to the clan grounds and prepare to move.

  • Shinichi asked the daimyo to make Hyuga Village the Land of Rice Fields' only ninja village and place all its ninja under Hyuga authority, while leaving civilians under the daimyo's rule.
  • Shinichi secured the mountainous land on the southern border as the village site, which the daimyo accepted as a useful barrier against the Land of Fire.
  • The daimyo negotiated the village funding down to five hundred million ryo for construction and five hundred million ryo annually, and Shinichi accepted the reduced amounts.
  • Shinichi demanded that Hyuga Village be exempt from land and commercial taxes, and the daimyo agreed.
  • The daimyo signed two copies of the agreement, and Shinichi took one before leaving the palace with his group.
  • Shinichi told Scarface and the others to return to the clan grounds because they were moving.

Ch. 12Madara must be stopped!

Madara left Konoha for the Hyuga compound after taking offense at the clan’s refusal to join the village, while Tobirama deliberately concealed his departure from Hashirama. When Hashirama learned the truth, he rushed north to stop Madara before he could attack the Hyuga.

  • Madara left Konoha alone and headed north toward the Hyuga compound.
  • Tobirama sensed Madara leaving but chose not to intercept him, hoping the Hyuga and Madara would weaken each other.
  • Tobirama concealed Madara’s departure when Hashirama arrived and asked about him.
  • The next morning, Hashirama learned from an Uchiha clansman that Madara had left and confronted Tobirama, who admitted Madara had likely gone to the Hyuga.
  • Hashirama hurried north to stop Madara from attacking the Hyuga, while Tobirama remained behind.

Ch. 13Madara Uchiha attacks!

Madara Uchiha attacked the Hyuga compound and overwhelmed its defenders until Shinichi arrived and saved Eldest Uncle. Shinichi faced Madara on nearby wasteland, where their fight escalated as Madara awakened his Mangekyō Sharingan and summoned Susanoo.

  • Madara set fire to the Hyuga compound and defeated the branch family ninja who confronted him.
  • Madara grabbed Eldest Uncle and prepared to strike his throat, but Shinichi arrived and pulled him free with a powerful force.
  • Shinichi sent Scarface to help Eldest Uncle and the wounded, then led Madara away from the compound.
  • On the wasteland, Shinichi used repulsive and attractive forces to evade Madara's attacks, while Hyuga survivors watched from a nearby slope.
  • Madara awakened his Mangekyō Sharingan, traded another powerful blow with Shinichi, and summoned Susanoo.

Ch. 14I acknowledge you!

Shinichi forced his Tenseigan into Chakra Mode and drew an immense surge of chakra from the Giant Tenseigan, allowing him to crack Madara’s Susanoo. Madara acknowledged Shinichi by name, then expanded his Susanoo into its third stage.

  • Shinichi used his Tenseigan’s attractive and repulsive forces to deflect Madara’s Susanoo attacks, but could not break through its chakra layers.
  • Watching from the Hyuga Clan Compound, Shinichi’s eldest uncle and Scarface were stunned that Shinichi could fight Madara to a standstill.
  • Shinichi forced chakra into his eyes, activated Tenseigan Chakra Mode, and drew a vast supply of chakra from the Giant Tenseigan on the moon.
  • Shinichi repelled a Susanoo strike, rushed forward, and cracked the giant’s chest with a palm strike.
  • Madara asked Shinichi’s name, acknowledged him as the first person besides Hashirama to crack his Susanoo, and transformed it into its third stage.

Ch. 15Silver Wheel Reincarnation Explosion!

Shinichi used the chakra streaming from the moon to create a silver blade that split Madara’s third-stage Susanoo and cut through a distant hill. The chakra supply then stopped, leaving Shinichi and Madara facing each other as Madara’s Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan began to spin.

  • The Giant Tenseigan began sending chakra beyond the moon, and the elder ordered the clansmen to seal it.
  • Shinichi’s attacks failed to penetrate Madara’s third-stage Susanoo, so he formed a Truth-Seeking Orb into a giant silver blade.
  • Shinichi’s slash split Susanoo and cut off the top of a hill, while Madara evaded the blade with only his robe damaged.
  • Hashirama Senju saw the slash and hurried toward the Hyuga Clan Compound, while Scarface declared that Shinichi had won.
  • The Ōtsutsuki clansmen stopped the Giant Tenseigan’s chakra outflow, and Shinichi’s Chakra Cloak dimmed.
  • Madara laughed as he faced Shinichi, then began rapidly spinning his Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan.

Ch. 16The Hokage Himself Would Build Houses for the Hyuga?

Hashirama stopped Madara from killing Shinichi and apologized for the damage Madara had caused to the Hyuga. Shinichi confirmed the clan would leave for the Land of Rice Fields to found Hyuga Village, and Hashirama agreed to help build it as Madara warned Shinichi they would meet again.

  • Hashirama arrived and used Wood Release to restrain Madara's Perfect Susanoo, after which Madara dismissed it.
  • Hashirama apologized to Shinichi and the Hyuga on Konoha's behalf for the burned houses and injured clanspeople.
  • Shinichi acknowledged the Hyuga had broken their agreement to join Konoha, but said the clan would leave the Land of Fire and establish Hyuga Village in the Land of Rice Fields.
  • Shinichi asked Hashirama to help build homes for the Hyuga, and Hashirama eagerly agreed to travel there and use Wood Release.
  • Madara warned Shinichi that Hashirama would not save him next time, then vanished from the wasteland.
  • Shinichi led the Hyuga's three thousand-odd people away from their compound and toward the Land of Rice Fields.

Ch. 17The Hokage Position Should Belong to Lord Madara!

The Ōtsutsuki elder blamed the surface branch of Hamura’s descendants for the Giant Tenseigan’s sudden surge and threatened to destroy the Shinobi World if they touched it again. In Konoha, Hashirama spread news of Shinichi Hyuga defeating Madara’s Susanoo, and whispers among the Uchiha ended with young clansmen declaring that Madara should be Hokage.

  • The Ōtsutsuki elder said only Hamura’s descendants could have caused the Giant Tenseigan to resonate and warned that the clan would destroy the Shinobi World if the surface branch touched it again.
  • A Senju ninja reported to Tobirama that Shinichi Hyuga had cut through Madara’s third-stage Susanoo and sliced away half a mountain.
  • Hashirama told Tobirama he planned to help the Hyuga build a village in the Land of Rice Fields, then excitedly shared Shinichi’s feat throughout Konoha.
  • The Uchiha clansmen heard Hashirama’s story and connected it to the cut in Madara’s robe, while Madara resolved to face Shinichi again without Hashirama interfering.
  • Young Uchiha clansmen complained that a Senju held the Hokage position and said it should belong to Madara, whose room was within earshot.

Ch. 18If Only the Land of Rice Fields Had Its Own Ninja Village!

Shinichi’s Hyuga procession entered the Land of Rice Fields and rescued a merchant caravan from bandits. As they traveled together, the merchant explained how Konoha’s bandit-clearing efforts had driven wandering ninja into the country, leaving its roads unsafe and its trade diminished; Shinichi looked toward the mountains without revealing what he would do.

  • A scout alerted Shinichi that bandits and wandering ninja were attacking a merchant caravan, and Shinichi sent Scar and five others to intervene.
  • Scar’s group defeated the bandits, and Shinichi knocked the wandering ninja unconscious with a repulsive force.
  • The merchant recognized Shinichi as the Hyuga Clan leader and asked to travel with the procession, which Shinichi allowed.
  • The merchant told Shinichi that the Land of Rice Fields lacked a ninja village and that bandits and wandering ninja made its roads dangerous.
  • The merchant explained that Konoha’s efforts to clear bandits in the Land of Fire had pushed them into the Land of Rice Fields, hurting trade despite the country’s valuable location.
  • The merchant wished the Land of Rice Fields had its own ninja village, while Shinichi silently studied the mountains ahead.

Ch. 19Hashirama Senju arrives!

The Hyuga Clan reached an abandoned village in the Land of Rice Fields and began building Hyuga Village, with Shinichi using his powers to clear land and the clan digging a new well. After more than ten days of work, Hashirama Senju arrived and announced he had come to build their houses.

  • Shinichi told the merchant that the Hyuga Clan would establish Hyuga Village in the abandoned settlement, and the caravan departed for the Land of Rice Fields' capital.
  • The Hyuga Clan cleared weeds and ruins, felled trees, and opened the village entrance, with Shinichi using his powers to move trees and a boulder.
  • Hyuga clan members used their Byakugan to locate underground water and dug a new well, while the elderly and children moved into repaired houses.
  • Over the next ten days, the clan cleared roads and built temporary shelters, while taking turns guarding the village perimeter.
  • A Hyuga guard spotted a powerful man approaching and alerted the village; Hashirama Senju arrived and called out that he had come to build their houses.

Ch. 20Wood Release: Four Pillars House Technique!

Hashirama used Wood Release to build homes, storehouses, and a protective wall for the Hyuga in their new village. After joining them for dinner, he asked Shinichi about his Byakugan and proposed that they spar sometime.

  • Hashirama arrived at Hyuga Village and asked Shinichi where the clansmen planned to build their homes.
  • Hashirama used Wood Release to build rows of houses and large storehouses across the mountainside.
  • Hashirama built a wooden wall around Hyuga Village, leaving a broad gate at the southern mountain path.
  • The Hyuga clansmen moved into their new homes and thanked Hashirama, who then shared a meal with them.
  • Hashirama asked Shinichi about his eyes, and Shinichi explained that the Byakugan could evolve when Hyuga bloodline traits became concentrated enough.
  • Hashirama told Shinichi that they should have a proper spar sometime.

Ch. 21Not enough money to spend!

After distributing money to the Hyuga clanspeople, Shinichi saw how high prices and scarce goods in the Land of Rice Fields were draining the clan’s funds. He decided the village needed trade and settlers, and planned to ask the daimyo for help clearing the bandits who kept merchants away.

  • Hashirama returned to Konoha, and Shinichi ordered his uncle to distribute money to the Hyuga clanspeople.
  • The clanspeople went to town and found rice, cloth, and household goods scarce and expensive, while ninja tools were unavailable.
  • Shinichi’s uncle showed him the accounts and explained that the clan had already spent more than half of the daimyo’s five hundred million ryo.
  • Shinichi rejected taking missions as a solution because the Land of Rice Fields had too few jobs to support the clan.
  • Shinichi concluded that bandits had to be eliminated so merchants and settlers would come, and told his uncle he would visit the daimyo the next day.

Ch. 22Back to the village to wipe out the bandits!

Shinichi secured a six-month bandit-suppression mission from the Land of Rice Fields' daimyo and nobles for three hundred million ryo. He left with Scarface to return to the village and prepare to clear out the bandits.

  • Shinichi and Scarface entered the capital, where a shop assistant told a crowd a story about Shinichi defeating bandits.
  • The daimyo and nobles described how bandits and Wandering Ninja had disrupted trade and occupied farmland.
  • Shinichi promised Hyuga Village would eliminate all bandits and Wandering Ninja in the Land of Rice Fields within six months, or take no payment.
  • The daimyo and noble families agreed to pay three hundred million ryo and sealed the mission in writing.
  • Shinichi took the contract and left with Scarface, saying they would return to the village and prepare to wipe out the bandits.

Ch. 23Bandit purge complete!

Shinichi mobilized the Hyuga ninja to eliminate bandits and wandering ninja throughout the Land of Rice Fields, completing the purge over several months. As the region grew safer, displaced commoners began settling outside Hyuga Village.

  • Shinichi assembled the Hyuga ninja and organized them into more than ninety four-person squads to fulfill the six-month mission.
  • Scarface's squad found dozens of bandits hiding in a mountain cave and incapacitated them after nightfall.
  • A young chunin's squad uncovered bandits disguised as farmers and defeated them before their wandering-ninja accomplice could use ninjutsu.
  • Hyuga squads repeatedly reported success as they cleared bandits and wandering ninja from across the Land of Rice Fields, making the roads safer.
  • Commoner families arrived seeking refuge, and Shinichi instructed his eldest uncle to build earthen houses for them outside the village.
  • A few months later, almost no bandits remained in the Land of Rice Fields, and a cluster of commoners' cottages had grown outside Hyuga Village.

Ch. 24Tobirama: I need to see the daimyo!

Shinichi's village prospered after clearing the bandits, and the reopened trade routes drew merchants from across the region. Hearing how Hyuga Village had succeeded, Tobirama decided to visit the Land of Fire's daimyo to seek a coordinated effort against bandits.

  • Shinichi's uncle reported that the village had received its mission payment and recovered goods worth around one hundred million ryo, while a merchant arrived to open a shop.
  • The daimyo of the Land of Rice Fields and a nobleman praised Hyuga Village after learning it had cleared the country's bandits and wandering ninja.
  • A merchant tested the route through the Land of Rice Fields, found it free of bandits, and prompted merchants from the Land of Fire to send more caravans.
  • Hashirama and Tobirama overheard merchants in Konoha discussing the safe trade routes, and Tobirama resolved to go to the capital to see the daimyo.

Ch. 25Hyuga Village Couldn't Be Allowed to Keep Growing!

Tobirama asked the daimyo of the Land of Fire and its nobles to fund a nationwide mission to eliminate bandits, but they refused and mocked Konoha. Seeing merchants head north to the prosperous Land of Rice Fields, Tobirama returned to Konoha convinced that Hyuga Village's growth had to be stopped.

  • Tobirama proposed that the daimyo and nobles pool money to hire Konoha to clear bandits throughout the Land of Fire.
  • The daimyo and nobles dismissed the proposal, questioned Konoha's work, and said they would only hire ninjas to deal with bandits on specific lands.
  • Tobirama left the residence and saw merchant caravans bound for the Land of Rice Fields, where Hyuga Village had cleared the roads of bandits.
  • Tobirama recognized that trade was bringing money and growth to Hyuga Village and worried that it could become a powerful rival near the Land of Fire's northern gateway.
  • Tobirama set off for Konoha, thinking that Hyuga Village could not be allowed to keep developing.
