As the notification faded from his retina, Zhou Heng first examined his body. Even though he had been granted an audience with such "Masters" of the Sea of Stars as the "Lord of Rules," the "Lord of Lifespan," and the "Lord of Time and Space," he could not help admiring the grandeur and magnificence before him.
Countless structures resembling pavilions and terraces, built from incandescent white light, stood in the vast void. Each differed in height and girth. The tall ones pierced the vault overhead, beyond even the reach of his vision, while the short ones resembled little mushrooms poking out of a forest, small enough to crush underfoot. The broad ones had radii that covered the entire world of nothingness, at least as far as Zhou Heng could see. The thin ones were like bamboo poles or needlepoints, varying in narrowness. These densely packed "pavilions and terraces" either stood in the void or floated through it, drifting back and forth like jellyfish.
As Zhou Heng marveled at the splendor before him, a figure suddenly appeared from behind and stood beside him, looking him over with delight in his eyes. "Zhou Heng? It's you, isn't it, Zhou Heng!"
Hearing the somewhat familiar voice beside his ear, Zhou Heng turned to look. At the sight, his eyebrows rose involuntarily. "Wang Lun?" The "Wang Lun" Zhou Heng spoke of had been his classmate before he logged into "Boundless Endless."
