The air was a little damp. Sasuke's eyelashes fluttered, and then he opened his eyes.
Where... am I?
Before him was a very dark, enclosed room, with a small window letting in a sliver of light.
"What's going on?"
Sasuke tried to move, only to discover that he was locked to a chair.
He strained to break free of the chair's restraints, even using chakra to stimulate his muscles.
Unfortunately, his strength and chakra vanished like a stone sinking into the sea, having no effect at all.
"Teacher, what's going on?"
Seeing no hope of freeing himself, Sasuke decided to call for outside help.
He closed his eyes and entered the grove, then nudged the sleeping Izuna and asked.
"Huh? What? What happened?"
Izuna rubbed his eyes and looked at Sasuke, looking a little bewildered.
He had gone to sleep after Sasuke last night, so he had no idea that Sasuke had been carried here over someone's shoulder.
"I've been captured."
Sasuke did his best to keep his voice calm, but his current predicament made it impossible for him to calm down.
Why was I captured? I was sleeping at home!
If I've been captured, what about Father and Mother?
At that thought, anxiety and agitation filled Sasuke's eyes.
"Hmm?"
Izuna got up immediately, his brain rapidly booting up as he began considering Sasuke's current situation.
Taken from his own home? Surely not. Have the Uchiha really fallen this far?
No, even if you were abducted, that village-right, Konoha-didn't do anything at all?
Seriously, Konoha should just hurry up and collapse.
Izuna sensed Sasuke's current condition, and his gaze froze.
Seeing Izuna's face go still, Sasuke held his breath, uncertainty and unease growing in his eyes.
Could even someone as powerful as Teacher find this difficult to handle?
