Sasuke's mouth twitched. He was right beside this blond idiot, yet Naruto still insisted on doing this. What a drama queen.
He sighed helplessly, then said, "Sasuke copies. Sasuke requests permission to engage."
"All right, go, Sasuke! Bring us victory!"
Naruto patted Sasuke on the shoulder as he spoke.
Lightning Release chakra flashed rapidly over Sasuke's body, but unlike the simple stimulation he had used before, this time the Lightning Release chakra seemed to form a suit of armor.
"Meooow!!!"
Before a brown cat could even cry out, Sasuke caught it in his arms, and the lightning on his body promptly shocked it into yowling.
"Sasuke! What are you doing?!"
Seeing the cat yowling from the shocks, Naruto hurriedly shouted.
Sasuke had dispelled his lightning armor the instant the cat cried out, but by then, it looked as though it had been struck by lightning. A burnt smell wafted from its originally brown fur.
Naruto flashed over, appearing beside Sasuke, and examined the cat, whose four legs were twitching.
What do we do? This cat looks like it's not going to make it.
Sasuke shrugged, his innocent eyes meeting Naruto's equally innocent pair.
Sasuke: Let it bite you.
Naruto: You do it. I'm afraid it might have a virus.
Sasuke: Stop dawdling. Keep this up and the cat's going to die.
Their exchange of looks ultimately ended in Naruto's defeat. He glared fiercely at this little brother of his, who needed his big brother to clean up every mess he made, then took out a kunai to prick his thumb.
