Madara's voice came from atop the Susanoo.
Hashirama smugly stopped laughing and looked expectantly at Madara.
He thought Madara ought to praise him now.
In his mind,
"Hashirama! You're an absolute genius!"
A voice like that had already rung out.
"You look so goofy when you laugh."
How could Madara not know what was going through Hashirama's head?
Although that move of Hashirama's had indeed been pretty cool, he wasn't going to give Hashirama what he wanted.
Who told him not to come out and fight when Madara had been brought back through Impure World Reincarnation last time?
And, very, very nastily, he had even trash-talked Madara at the end when Madara was running away-no, making a strategic retreat.
Didn't he know Madara hated that sort of trash talk most of all?!
So Madara decided to get revenge in a very, very nasty way.
Yes, as Madara's words reached Hashirama's ears,
Even the air seemed to freeze.
Only the sound of the two colossal creatures beating their wings remained.
"Huh?..."
Hashirama let out a dazed sound of disbelief, then looked at himself and the Sky Dragon beneath him.
Did he really look that goofy?
Hashirama briefly reached out with his consciousness to ask Kurama.
"Goofy, goofy, goofy-goofy my ass! I'm fighting the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path with Hinata. Leave me the hell alone!"
Yes, he had received an affirmative answer.
With practiced ease, he turned his head aside and lowered it, shadows hiding his face.
Madara nodded in satisfaction.
But Hashirama didn't stop there.
Then Hashirama slowly crouched, snapped a branch off the Sky Dragon's head, and began drawing circles on its head.
"I curse you, I curse you, I curse you."
Yes, with gloom all over his face, he looked as though he were performing some
