April 1, Year 41 of Konoha.
It was a special day.
A day that filled all of Konoha with a tremendous hubbub.
Granted, Konoha had grown so vast that it really should no longer have been called a "village";
It should have been called a "city"!
The skilled craftsmen Danzo had gathered from across the shinobi world had worked around the clock in two shifts.
Now the Hokage Building looked particularly imposing.
Its entrance still used the old Hokage Building as its foundation, but the aging walls, roof tiles, and glass had all undergone extensive renovations.
Inside, however, everything had changed!
The building backed onto Hokage Rock and extended at least a kilometer into the rock face.
The building that had once housed Konoha's entire administrative apparatus now served as nothing more than the entrance to the "new Hokage Building."
All the space inside the rock face had been built to the Laboratory's defensive standards.
According to old brother Danzo, even if everyone in the shinobi world gave up and stopped producing anything, Konoha's existing resources could still feed the entire shinobi world for two years.
In short:
Extravagant!
However, the Konoha Laboratory's position above and to the left of the new building had drawn considerable displeasure from Aburame Hideki.
No one could stand above Lord Danzo!
Not even if the Laboratory had been there first...
But those voices detrimental to unity soon vanished in the face of the Laboratory's newly released "Limb Regeneration Injection."
The one who took action was none other than Hideki's former commanding officer on the Eastern Front.
The morning sun rose in the east, warm and bright as an egg yolk.
It lit up the horizon, bringing Konoha boundless hope and vitality.
