Howling Wolf had gone through the "Astrology Sanctum" Instance with Bai Ling and had been deeply impressed by her Inspiration and prophetic abilities, so although he was puzzled, he still chose to trust her firmly.
Rock Bear and Crazy Tiger were different. Though they had heard of Bai Ling's reputation, they had never experienced her abilities firsthand, so they were rather unconvinced:
"That's not necessarily true. Maybe Master Bai Ling gets things wrong sometimes too?"
"Impossible!" Howling Wolf said firmly.
"But going by what you said, we'd need at least five people!"
Crazy Tiger counted on his fingers:
"That monster hides in someone's shadow and controls its owner, so we need another person to restrain whoever it controls."
"That's two people already."
"Then we need a third person to use a light source to eliminate the controlled person's shadow and force the monster out."
"When it's forced out, the monster fires a lethal laser at whoever eliminated the shadow, one that ignores evasion and defense. At that point, we need a fourth person to provide cover with a mirror-type supernatural item."
"At the same time, the monster goes berserk and moves so fast it's impossible to catch."
"But we can't kill the monster. We need to attack it with nonlethal force to make it release the probing light we need."
"So the best method is to have a fifth person use a control skill or item to restrain it the instant it's forced out, while it's firing its laser attack."
"Those five people are essential. We can't do without a single one, and that doesn't even include Master Bai Ling herself!"
"That's the conclusion you came to yourself when you went over it!"
After counting it all out, Crazy Tiger reached his verdict:
