The unexpected turn came from Lin Yuan's white-light dragon.
After coiling around Sea Cannon's white-light dragon and preventing it from attacking, Lin Yuan's white-light dragon adjusted its position and stretched its head toward the other's patch of golden scales.
The next moment, Lin Yuan's white-light dragon opened its jaws and bit viciously into the golden scales before it!
Sea Cannon's white-light dragon immediately cried out in pain and began struggling.
But it lacked intelligence and could not struggle effectively, merely thrashing its body at random.
Lin Yuan's white-light dragon easily coiled around it again and continued devouring it, bite by bite.
It sounded complicated, but all of this happened in the blink of an eye.
In just a few seconds, Lin Yuan's white-light dragon had chewed Sea Cannon's white-light dragon into two pieces.
The latter immediately scattered into countless motes of light and vanished.
Meanwhile, after devouring it, Lin Yuan's white-light dragon also underwent a change.
A faint golden glow radiated from its body.
Unlike Sea Cannon's white-light dragon, however, Lin Yuan's white-light dragon did not develop a patch of golden scales on its surface.
Instead, its entire body radiated a faint golden glow from within.
The gold was extremely faint. If the dragon had not originally been pure, flawless white light, it would have been impossible to distinguish.
Despite this change, Lin Yuan's white-light dragon did not become larger and stronger like Sea Cannon's dragon had.
It did, however, seem to have become a little more majestic.
