The Tidal General had left with his forces and Transcendent Cores to join the Crawlers’ expedition, but Lin Yuan could not find the map showing their destination.

• Lin Yuan concluded that the Tidal General had taken his Transcendent Cores and most of his Great Pirates away on important business.
• Lilia found a cramped secret study where Lin Yuan discovered recent letters from the Crawlers.
• Lin Yuan read that the Red Emperor and Black Emperor had fallen and the White Emperor had gone mad and vanished.
• Lin Yuan learned that the Tidal General had accepted the Crawlers’ invitation to visit the place where the Three Emperors met disaster.
• Lin Yuan searched for the map of that location but could not find it, leaving him without a way to follow the Tidal General.

Lin Yuan found a marked location on the Tidal General’s sea chart that might be where the Crawlers had summoned the Pirate Generals, and he sailed there to investigate. After finding the territory deserted, he waited for Bai Ling and recognized the Time Maze’s mist as the same mist from the Sanctum’s Land of Legacy.

• Lin Yuan gave up searching the vast East Pole Sea for the underwater site and collected the Crawlers’ letters to bring back to Steward Liu.
• Lin Yuan noticed the Tidal General’s sea chart marked a deep-sea location where the three Pirate Emperors’ territories overlapped, and suspected it was the place the Crawlers had mentioned.
• Lin Yuan searched the rest of the lair, found nothing, then took Lilia and the Phantom Lin Yuan toward the marked location.
• After more than half a day, Lin Yuan reached the pirate territory and found no ships or other signs of activity; he suspected the Pirate Generals had taken their capable subordinates with them to meet the Crawlers.
• Lin Yuan decided to wait until he could summon Bai Ling to search the dangerous area, then observed the Time Maze and recognized its mist from the Sanctum’s Land of Legacy.

Lin Yuan learned that the Sanctum Founders had hidden their Legacy within a Time Maze, then focused on his own preparations as the Divine Artisan Forge recovered. With Bai Ling’s help, he found a deep sea island where dying Deep Sea Behemoths gathered, identifying it as their graveyard.

• Little Black told Lin Yuan that the Divine Artisan Core had recovered, so Lin Yuan put “Explore the Sea” into the Divine Artisan Forge to be upgraded.
• Little Black said the Level Five Hull blueprint was nearly finished, and Lin Yuan considered returning to Shattered Island to obtain its materials.
• Lin Yuan summoned Bai Ling after the Death Seed’s cooldown ended and told her about the Crawlers’ letter concerning a dangerous place in the Deep Sea.
• Bai Ling sensed no nearby threats and guided Lin Yuan to a deep sea island formed by a rising ocean current.
• Bai Ling divined that death energy on the island drew dying Deep Sea Behemoths there, and Lin Yuan recognized it as a graveyard for them.

Lin Yuan learned that Red Anglerfish was using a formation in the Behemoth Graveyard to gather death energy and help the wounded Crawler Apostle awaken or recover, so he infiltrated the graveyard to sabotage the plan. Meanwhile, the Tidal General and Red Anglerfish each pursued their own schemes as the formation’s nodes were activated.

• Bai Ling sensed that Red Anglerfish and the Crawlers were manipulating the graveyard’s death energy through a formation, and Lin Yuan concluded they intended to aid the wounded Apostle.
• Lin Yuan decided to stop the Crawlers, used Bai Ling’s information to enter the Behemoth Graveyard, and watched her return to the Nether River when her summoning time ended.
• The Tidal General activated an altar node with Transcendent Cores, allowing his pirates to loot nearby behemoth remains safely.
• The Tidal General suspected the Crawlers wanted something from the pirates and decided to gather more loot before withdrawing, hoping their larger plan would fail.

Red Anglerfish explained the Crawlers’ plan to use the pirates as sacrifices to awaken the Apostle, while Lin Yuan searched the Behemoth Graveyard’s formation nodes for Transcendent Cores. The chapter ended with Lin Yuan silently approaching a Great Pirate at a newly activated node.

• Red Anglerfish told an elder that the Pirate Generals had come because they feared their rivals would profit without them, and dismissed the chance that humans would unite.
• The elder asked whether the mysterious deaths of the three Pirate Emperors threatened the plan, and Red Anglerfish ordered him to watch for White Emperor and the missing pirates.

• Lin Yuan killed a Great Pirate with a C-rank-powered punch, collected his cores, and considered how to upgrade the Energy Collector.
• Lin Yuan continued ambushing Great Pirates, raising his maximum energy capacity while his current reserves fell to forty-five points.
• Lin Yuan decided he could not wait for his energy to recover, ordered Lilia to act, and approached the Pirate Ship under Mirage Mist.
• The Tidal General planned to loot one more node and then retreat, but noticed most of the Great Pirates near the hull had vanished.

Lin Yuan pretended to be trapped by the Tidal General’s waterspouts while planning to seize the loot aboard his ship. When the other Pirate Generals appeared under Red Anglerfish’s control, Lin Yuan broke free and joined the fight, leaving a Doll Girl and a Coffin to sneak onto the Tidal General’s ship.

• The Tidal General decided to flee while Lin Yuan secretly prepared to stop him and take the Warehouse aboard his ship.
• The Blazing Fire General, the Demonic Mountain General, and the Hyena General blocked the Tidal General’s escape, while Red Anglerfish revealed that they had been punished for violating their contract.
• The Tidal General’s crew and the three Pirate Generals appeared controlled, and the Tidal General charged out to fight them but was driven back.
• Red Anglerfish urged the Tidal General to cooperate, but Lin Yuan broke free of the waterspouts and attacked the Demonic Mountain General.

Lin Yuan kept the four Pirate Generals occupied while Lilia sneaked aboard their ships to steal their Transcendent Cores. When Tidal General broke through the blockade, Lin Yuan stopped his escape long enough for Blazing Fire and Hyena General to catch up.

• Lin Yuan used himself as bait to distract the Pirate Generals and Red Anglerfish while Lilia boarded Tidal General's ship.
• Lilia got lost inside the ship, so Lin Yuan told her to cut through its wooden walls to find the storerooms.
• Lilia broke into a secret chamber, collected dozens of Transcendent Cores, and headed for the other Pirate Generals' ships.

Lin Yuan stalled Red Anglerfish while Lilia looted the remaining ships, and the Tidal General was transformed into a Crawler servant. After Lilia delivered the Transcendent Cores, Lin Yuan prepared to fight the four Pirate Generals and threatened the Crawlers at the formation’s core.

• Lin Yuan held the Tidal General back, allowing Red Anglerfish to transform him into a Crawler servant.
• Lin Yuan questioned Red Anglerfish about the Nodes and the way into the East Pole Sea while Lilia looted the third and fourth ships.
• Red Anglerfish sent the four transformed Pirate Generals to attack Lin Yuan, but Lilia’s Coffin blocked Demon Mountain’s punch.

• Red Anglerfish recognized Lin Yuan as a Sanctum Knight and sent the four Pirate Generals to attack him.
• Lin Yuan refined his C-rank cores, compressed the energy into a B-rank tank, and used B-rank energy to cut down all four Pirate Generals.

• Red Anglerfish used the lamp to bring the Crawlers Elder in front of Lin Yuan, but Lin Yuan compressed his transcendent energy into A-rank energy and cut the Elder in two.
• Lin Yuan struck the crystal with the Holy Hall Light Blade in club form and shattered it, causing the Giant Beast Tomb to quake.

Lin Yuan tried to escape Red Anglerfish by firing Explore the Sea into the Behemoth Graveyard, unleashing deadly currents that swept them apart. When Red Anglerfish caught up, ghostly pirates drove him off, and White Emperor appeared and attacked Lin Yuan before stopping his own blow.

• Red Anglerfish recovered his strength and pursued Lin Yuan, but both mistook the other's Explore the Sea for a more powerful weapon.
• Lin Yuan fired Explore the Sea into the Behemoth Graveyard, causing its death energy to erupt and hurling him and Red Anglerfish in different directions.
• After the currents settled, Red Anglerfish found Lin Yuan and prepared to kill him as Lin Yuan considered forcing the Death Seed to summon the Nether River.
• Ghostly pirates emerged from the currents and attacked Red Anglerfish, while a beam from the depths extinguished his Kerosene Lamp and sent him fleeing.
• White Emperor appeared before Lin Yuan and fired gray light at him, then used white light to knock the attack aside.

Lin Yuan discovered that the White Emperor contained the entangled souls of the East Pole Island Lord and the Crawler Apostle Sin of the Fallen. The Island Lord explained why he could not return to his body and tasked Lin Yuan with restoring East Pole Island’s prosperity and finding a marine plant in the Abyssal Sea.

• The White Emperor stopped attacking himself, revealed that the East Pole Island Lord had taken control, and asked Lin Yuan for help.
• Lin Yuan told the Island Lord that Steward Liu had sent him to investigate how to awaken him.
• The Island Lord explained that he and Sin of the Fallen could awaken only in the Giant Beast Tomb and could not return to their bodies while their souls remained entangled.
• The Island Lord said his return depended on East Pole Island flourishing and revealed that Steward Liu had made another choice, though Lin Yuan could still trust him.
• The Island Lord asked Lin Yuan to find a marine plant in the Abyssal Sea, use the map in his treasury, and obtain the Island Lord Token from Steward Liu in case he encountered an Abyssal Sea being.

Lin Yuan agreed to fulfill the East Pole Island Lord’s three conditions in exchange for passage out of the East Pole Sea and three future favors. After returning to East Pole Island, he secured Steward Liu’s support and began planning how to complete the tasks.

• The East Pole Island Lord warned Lin Yuan not to corner the Crawlers and promised him three favors if he completed the three conditions.
• Lin Yuan agreed to awaken the Island Lord, help develop East Pole Island, and travel to the Abyssal Sea, learning that Red Anglerfish would need the pirate shell to awaken the Sin of Corruption.
• The East Pole Island Lord told Lin Yuan that Liu Da had little combat power and that the three awakening conditions had to be met, though the third could be skipped if an unexpected situation arose.

After struggling to find a way to obtain the A-rank core needed to begin his plan, he learned that Chi Yu and Wuwei could help him hunt a King of the Deep Sea.

• Lin Yuan deduced that his A-rank transcendent energy had consumed two points to resist the Red Anglerfish’s attack for about 0.2 seconds.
• Lin Yuan concluded that his unusual energy might let him fight S-rank experts and planned to eliminate the Four Great Families, develop East Pole Island, obtain the Seabed Lotus Life, and recover the White Emperor’s body.
• Lin Yuan worried that he had no A-rank energy and could not easily obtain an A-rank transcendent core from the Four Great Families or the Deep Sea.

Lin Yuan joined Chi Yu and Wuwei’s Sunken One Merchant Group to hunt a King of the Deep Sea, learning that Chi Yu and Wuwei could reactivate their former S-rank strength through War Authority. The Phantom Lin Yuan reached the rendezvous, where the assembled fleet prepared to attack.

• Chi Yu proposed hunting a King of the Deep Sea, and Lin Yuan questioned how their weakened strength could defeat one.
• Chi Yu explained that the Sunken One Merchant Group was a legion whose soldiers and generals could wield War Authority through the East Pole Legion Seal.
• Lin Yuan agreed to join the hunt, and Chi Yu boarded the Phantom Lin Yuan as Lin Yuan relied on Bai Ling to navigate.
• After about a day, the Phantom Lin Yuan reached the rendezvous, where Wuwei and his battle-ready fleet were waiting.

Lin Yuan watched Chi Yu and Wuwei’s Sunken One legion use War Authority to trap the King of the Deep Sea and withstand its attacks. When the battle stalemated, Lin Yuan summoned a Nether River tributary, and a blade of light suddenly split the giant eel in two.

• The King of the Deep Sea attacked Lin Yuan’s group with electricity, but the wooden ships and Sunken One soldiers resisted most of its strikes.
• Lin Yuan realized the Sunken One soldiers were resurrected East Pole Island soldiers whose souls had transferred into the bodies of newly formed Sunken Ones.
• Chi Yu and Wuwei ordered the East Pole Battle Group to form the Eight-Gate Golden Lock Formation, which let the soldiers share damage and combine their strength to trap and attack the giant eel.
• The giant eel unleashed a field of lightning, but the soldiers’ combined spear thrust extinguished the attack.
• When neither side could quickly defeat the other, Lin Yuan summoned the Nether River tributary, and a blade of light from its depths cleaved the giant eel in two.

The Nether River King appeared in the Tributary, killed the giant eel, and gave Lin Yuan a strange enhancement before departing. Lilia then claimed it was a different Nether River King from the one Lin Yuan had met in Paradise, leaving Chi Yu shocked because a Tributary could belong to only one king.

• The Nether River King emerged from the Nether River, and the surrounding natives and Sunken One soldiers knelt before it.
• Lilia climbed out of her Coffin and invited the Nether River King aboard the Lin Yuan, prompting Lin Yuan to fear she had angered it.
• The Nether River King sent a mass of Nether River Water into Lin Yuan, transforming the ship's wooden hull and Keel black, then warned that time was running out and sank away.
• Lin Yuan told Lilia about meeting a Nether River King in Paradise, and Lilia said the king that appeared now was someone else.
• Chi Yu rejected Lilia's claim, insisting that a Nether River Tributary could belong to only one Nether River King.

Lin Yuan learned that the Nether River Monarch’s certification strengthened his ship’s keel and then discussed East Pole Island’s corrupt Four Great Families with Chi Yu. After they returned to the island, they found its soldiers preparing a sinister formation with the Crawlers, and Lin Yuan resolved to eliminate the traitors.

• Lilia told Lin Yuan that the Nether River Monarch who appeared this time was not the same one as before, and Lin Yuan discovered the monarch’s certification had strengthened his keel to support a level-seven hull.
• After refining the giant eel’s Transcendent Core, Lin Yuan boarded the Phantom Lin Yuan and discussed East Pole Island’s problems with Chi Yu, arguing that its entrenched Four Great Families had to be eradicated.
• A little over a day later, Lin Yuan and Chi Yu returned to East Pole Island and saw its residents hiding while soldiers from the Four Great Families patrolled the Outer City and set up a sinister formation.
• Chi Yu explained that the Four Great Families had sided with the Crawlers partly because they believed the Island Lord’s Residence was withholding a method of longevity.
• Lin Yuan dismissed the Four Great Families’ grievances and declared that they had betrayed humanity and should be exterminated.

Lin Yuan and his companions broke into the Liu Family’s hidden storeroom and confronted the family head, who revealed his plan to use a formation to reach S-rank. Chi Yu recognized that the Four Great Families’ scheme would sacrifice much of East Pole Island, leaving the Liu Family head’s fate unresolved.

• The Liu Family prepared ships while its head’s steward questioned the family’s alliance with the Crawlers, and an old man wondered whether the decision to submit to them was right.
• Lin Yuan and his companions followed Bai Ling into a hidden passage beneath the Liu Family estate and reached an underground storeroom.
• The Liu Family head detected the intruders, recognized Lin Yuan and Chi Yu, and surrendered, offering to use his influence to serve the Island Lord’s Residence.
• Lin Yuan rejected the Liu Family head’s offer, and the man admitted that he had planned to sacrifice family members tied to the Crawlers to reach S-rank and hide.
• Chi Yu challenged the Liu Family head’s scheme and explained that the Four Great Families’ Blood Refining Formation would drain the lives of island residents with their bloodlines.

Lin Yuan killed the Liu Family head and the other three family heads, rejecting their offers and threats as he eliminated the Four Great Families. He looted their treasuries and gained enough Transcendent Cores to raise his reserves to 150, then turned his attention to other unusual treasures.

• The Liu Family head offered to submit to Lin Yuan, but Lin Yuan killed him with a Light Blade.
• Chi Yu worried that the Four Great Families’ supporters would cause trouble, and Lin Yuan told her that the island’s prevailing attitudes could change.
• Lin Yuan killed the heads of the other three families, overcoming their resistance, escape plans, and hiding places.

Lin Yuan examined the strange treasures from the Four Great Families’ vaults and had Lilia eat them, after which she produced a mysterious pill. He also assembled a treasure map and learned more about the hierarchy of Authorities while inspecting the families’ Relics.

• Lin Yuan recognized the unidentified objects in the vaults as Heavenly Materials and Earthly Treasures, and Chi Yu explained that the East Pole Island Lord had found them but never learned what they did.
• Lin Yuan summoned Lilia, who ate the entire pile and expelled a glowing green pill that Lin Yuan put away for later study.
• Lilia returned to the Coffin for an after-meal nap, and Lin Yuan collected the four map fragments into a map pointing to an unknown island.
• Lin Yuan examined the Four Great Families’ Relics and reviewed the tiers of Authorities, learning that their Concealment, Bewitchment, thorns, and Fury domains were Low-level Authorities.

After inventorying the Four Great Families' vaults, Lin Yuan sent Chi Yu to reclaim their estates and considered how to fight Red Anglerfish. Steward Liu explained that S-rank strength depended on several factors and that Red Anglerfish was now barely a one-star S-rank expert.

• Lin Yuan learned that the Four Great Families' Relics were low-value and dangerous, but still offered some hope of reaching S-rank.
• Chi Yu led the Island Lord's Residence soldiers in four squads to subdue the Four Great Families' remaining forces and reclaim East Pole Island.

Lin Yuan began rebuilding East Pole Island after Chi Yu reported that the Four Great Families’ workshops and businesses had stopped operating. He laid out a new island plan, ordered residents and supplies brought in, and learned that Steward Liu recognized the Miniature Turrets he had made.

• Lin Yuan calculated that his A-rank Transcendent Energy could give him a chance to kill the One-Star S-rank Red Anglerfish.
• Chi Yu reported that the Four Great Families’ artisans and other workshop workers were resisting the Island Lord’s Residence, while the island faced threats from A+-rank enforcers at sea.
• Lin Yuan ordered Chi Yu to imprison or eliminate troublemakers and presented a plan to tear down the city walls and reorganize East Pole Island into unified residential, industrial, food, commercial, and defense areas.
