Fang Yue rescued Zhu Linlang from Yang Chan’s schemes and joined her and the Grand Princess of Great Chu in pursuing the secret treasury. Yang Chan reached the treasury first, but a gigantic beast emerged before he could pass the Stone Gate.

• Fang Yue killed the Black Mountain Sect’s Protectors, defeated Yu Hongye, and returned home before setting out to find Zhu Linlang in Chu State.
• Fang Yue uncovered Yang Chan’s conspiracy, fought his forces, and acquired a Jade Book while Zhu Linlang escaped capture by leaping from a cliff.
• Fang Yue killed a Black Robed Grandmaster and took a Beast Skin Map after Yang Chan killed Wei Ya, then reunited with Zhu Linlang and the Grand Princess of Great Chu.
• Fang Yue learned the Beast Skin Map pointed toward a True King Era secret treasury, and the trio fought their way through Imperial Guard ambushes and General Chen’s forces.
• Fang Yue, Zhu Linlang, and the Grand Princess escaped their pursuers, survived a deadly cave and a winged tiger, and followed clues toward the treasury’s true location.

Fang Yue and Zhu Linlang secured Great Wei, exposed the Shadow Alliance’s plot, and prepared for war with Great Chu. After defeating Lu Chengfeng and disrupting an invasion backed by demons, Fang Yue cornered the retreating Great Chu soldiers and demons in a mountain valley.

• Fang Yue and his companions fought through the True King's Secret Treasury, where Yang Chan stole the treasure box before Fang Yue reclaimed it and escaped the treasury with help from the Man in Green.
• Fang Yue survived Yang Chan’s ambushes during the peace talks and returned to Great Wei with Zhu Linlang, where they outmaneuvered Prince Chen, took control of the Divine Capital Formation, and forced the Imperial Clan Elders to surrender.
• Yang Chan resumed attacks along the border on behalf of a hidden organization, but Fang Yue captured him and two of its agents, then learned about the Shadow Alliance and recovered its hidden treasure.
• Fang Yue infiltrated a mysterious force’s camp and found documents linking it to Great Chu, then returned to Zhu Linlang with evidence that the enemy was building an army.
• As Great Chu invaded, Fang Yue became Great General Who Conquers the North, reclaimed territory, and killed the Great Grandmaster Lu Chengfeng in a duel.
• A Mysterious Person persuaded the Great Chu emperor to ally with demons, but Fang Yue used demon-countering formations and destroyed the rune controlling lesser demons.
• Fang Yue pursued the retreating Great Chu army and remaining demons into a mountain valley, where he declared their end had come.

Fang Yue exposed Great Chu’s treacherous princes, fought the demons as their seal weakened, and helped the Grand Princess claim the throne. After a near-fatal battle and a dangerous search for medicine, Fang Yue faced a fresh assassination attempt at his residence.

• Fang Yue united Great Wei and Great Chu against the demons, but the Great Chu Emperor secretly ambushed him, and the Grand Princess rescued him and helped expose the Emperor’s crimes.
• Fang Yue and the Grand Princess forced the Emperor from the throne, survived the Three Princes’ plots, and uncovered their alliance with the Demon Race to break the seal.
• At Great Buddha Temple, Fang Yue failed to stop Prince Guangxin from breaking a seal node, then helped the abbot defeat the Great Demon King before the abbot died warning that the seal would last only a year.
• Fang Yue killed Prince Li and two Great Demon Kings, but collapsed from his wounds and spent a month unconscious while the Grand Princess cared for him.
• Fang Yue sought rare medicines to recover, won the Ten-Thousand-Year Spirit Ginseng from the guardian of Medicine God Valley, and learned that the Grand Princess had become Empress of Great Wei.
• Han Chengzhi and Lin Zhen used tampered Blood Spirit Grass to lure out Fang Yue’s healer, then staged a city disturbance so Han Chengzhi could enter the royal residence and kill Fang Yue.
• Fang Yue received the sole surviving healing pill, sensed the danger, and confronted Han Chengzhi as he searched the residence.

Fang Yue pursued the power to strengthen himself, entered the Demon Realm, and fought the Venerable Lord’s plans to revive the Ancient Demon General. After Elder Tortoise betrayed him and the Fox Woman helped him escape, Fang Yue reached an ancient tower and began connecting with a rune-covered spear as visions revealed the Human Emperor’s battle against the demons’ dark source.

• Fang Yue returned to Great Wei, traced Han Chengzhi’s demonic power to the Shadowy Evil Sect, and found the Venerable Lord’s lair in a Black Mist valley.
• Fang Yue passed the Sacred Land’s trial, learned the Nine Revolutions True Spirit Technique, and entered the Demon Realm to gather Great Demon King essences.
• Fang Yue infiltrated the demons’ gathering at Azure Mang Mountain and tried to stop the Venerable Lord and two Great Demon Kings from awakening the Ancient Demon General.
• Fang Yue allied with the Fox Woman and Elder Tortoise, found clues to the Mysterious Land, and escaped Demon City’s forces through an ancient formation.
• At the God Burial Ground, Fang Yue learned of the shared origins of humans and demons, fled the Venerable Lord’s pursuit, and killed him in a palace hall.
• Elder Tortoise weakened the seal and released the Ancient Demon General, which badly injured Fang Yue before the Fox Woman restrained it and carried him away.
• The Fox Woman helped Fang Yue recover, and they entered an ancient tower where Fang Yue took up a rune-covered spear and saw visions of the Human Emperor fighting demons.
