As the one who had sent them here, Hyuga Akira was naturally someone they recognized.
At their cries, a sudden commotion swept through Kirigakure.
A shadow fell over Hyuga Akira's head. Something had blocked out the sunlight.
He looked up to see Kaido in his hybrid form, his spiked club raised high as he brought it crashing down at Hyuga Akira with a furious roar.
"Hyuga Akira!!!"
Gray currents rose from Hyuga Akira's body, transforming him into a hideous, terrifying demon king of fear. He raised his hand and caught Kaido's spiked club outright.
Boom!!
A shock wave rapidly spread outward, tearing the ground apart in an instant.
Kaido's pupils contracted. This guy had grown stronger. Before, Hyuga Akira would never have dared to catch this blow.
In midair, Hyuga Akira tucked in his legs, spun, and lashed out with a sideways kick.
Boom!
Kaido vanished in an instant, leaving only a long passage through Kirigakure's buildings.
"I'm not particularly fond of this sort of welcome."
Hyuga Akira smiled.
Kaido slowly emerged from the collapsed houses, his massive figure casting an enormous shadow across the ground.
Aside from a footprint on his chest, he had no other injuries.
Kaido stared coldly at Hyuga Akira and said, "This is my territory!! My Onigashima!!"
He was also gradually encroaching on the Land of Water, but the results had been far from ideal. The entire Land of Water was rejecting them.
Still, they had received the same treatment back in the Pirate World and had long since grown accustomed to it.
They did not need any approval from them, either. He only needed to rule this country through fear.
