"Crash!" Hanzo shattered the glass with his scythe, then threw out the chain at its tail end and wrapped it around Hyuga Akira's wrist.
"Wait, seriously? Is this really necessary?" Hyuga Akira looked utterly bewildered. As Hanzo jumped out the window, he hurriedly followed him out.
Watching Hanzo cling to the wall and run down it, Hyuga Akira gritted his teeth bitterly.
Once he had leveled up enough, he would definitely kill Hanzo for his drops.
Hyuga Akira gathered chakra under his feet, anchoring himself to the wall as he followed close behind Hanzo.
They went from the central building down to the road.
The entire road was clean and tidy, without a single person in sight. The shinobi who wanted no part in this were obediently staying home, while those involved were fighting to the death inside the building.
Of course there was no one around.
Hanzo led Hyuga Akira straight out of Amegakure, though they did not go far.
There was an Abandoned Factory a short distance outside Amegakure. He led Hyuga Akira straight inside, without the slightest fear of an ambush.
After entering, they saw no shinobi anywhere.
There was only an old man in a black-and-white kimono, with a white flower pinned to his chest, as though he were about to attend a funeral.
Shōzō, the Amegakure Leader.
"You're here, Hanzo," Shōzō said softly. "I knew those people couldn't stop you."
Anyone would have known those people could not stop Hanzo.
Just look at the gap in strength between the two sides, Hyuga Akira silently snarked.
"Shōzō, it's time to bring this all to an end," Hanzo said gravely.
The position of Amegakure's leader should fall into his hands, too.
Shōzō did not answer directly. Instead, he continued on his own. "Do you remember this place?
