These "problem children," who should have been weeded out in the earliest days of the apocalypse, had actually survived until now.
Yang Yong suddenly grew a little curious. How exactly had their late Granny Director managed to survive in the Apocalypse with such a group of little burdens in tow?
But now was not the time to think about that.
Yang Yong turned his attention back to Long Ya.
She had already sat up, leaning against the cage, and looked no different from before.
But Yang Yong could sense something sharp within her that had not been there before.
"Long Ya." Yang Yong's voice sounded in her mind.
"Yes, Master," Long Ya answered inwardly.
Yang Yong asked, "Have you awakened Sequence Transcendence?"
"I don't know. I suppose so." Long Ya herself was not quite sure.
"What's your Sequence ability?"
Long Ya closed her eyes and carefully examined what she felt.
A moment later, she opened her eyes and said inwardly, enunciating each word, "Sequence name... Gunfire Sequence."
"Sequence One, Armed One."
"The ability is..."
"As long as you give me a gun, I can match the accuracy of a sharpshooter from before the apocalypse without any training."
"And... some things I can't explain clearly yet."
Gunfire Sequence? Armed One?
Yang Yong froze for a moment.
He had not expected this disciple he had picked up so easily to awaken a gun-wielding Sequence.
He did have a few guns, the most typical example being the Flesh-and-Blood Submachine Gun.
But looking at Long Ya's spindly limbs and how little flesh she had on her, could she use the Flesh-and-Blood Submachine Gun?
She would probably be drained dry before the gun even warmed up.
Moreover, many of Long Ya's Sequence abilities could not be used at all without a gun in her hands.
