Background / History

Marriage to Ji Tan

Huo Zhaixing met the original Ji Tan while Ji Tan was working at a karaoke club. Two months before the opening events, Ji Tan married him and moved into the Huo family villa in Beichen District 5 10.

In A Qiang’s generated novel, Huo initially appears as Ji Tan’s wealthy rescuer, paying off his debts and housing him in an eight-thousand-square-meter villa. The story then reveals that Huo regards Ji Tan as a prepared heart donor for his first love, Qiao Qiao 1.

Ji Tan later concludes that the installments were designed to control him: the payments matched the monthly demands on Ji Sinan’s loan-shark debt, leaving his brother vulnerable if Huo withheld the money. Debt collectors subsequently attack Ji Sinan after a Huo family payment fails to arrive 7 8.

Attempted Heart Transplant

When the transmigrated Ji Tan awakens in the hospital, Huo is overseeing preparations to remove his heart for Qiao Qiao. He dismisses Ji Tan’s refusal and claims that a sapphire-inlaid mechanical replacement will allow them to remain together forever 1.

Defeat by Xie Zhi

Huo intercepts Ji Tan outside the Public Security Bureau in a Maybach. Citing his grandfather’s assessment that Xie Zhi possesses only lower B-rank strength in Beichen District, he challenges Xie’s willingness to oppose the Huo family 5.

He forcibly pulls Ji Tan toward the car and uses an invisible grip to strangle Xie Zhi while his bodyguards advance with machetes. His repeated attempts to identify the limits of Xie’s Prohibition prove mistaken: Xie nullifies his ability, breaks his index finger, and punches him in the nose 6.
