Xiao Ce received an artifact-refining talent and a vast inheritance of artifact-refining techniques from the Falling Star Cauldron, then learned that his Artifact Refiner Alliance had declined after losing a treasured inheritance. He planned to visit its branch in Stone Desert City and later return to the Xiao Clan to claim the Nine Nether Wind Flame and Emperor Jade if they had been passed down.

• Xiao Ce tested the Gathering Qi Futon and found that its energy-gathering effect stacked with the Green Lotus Seat, greatly increasing his confidence in raising his cultivation.
