Coach, I Want to Learn Magic
In the noisy bar, a burly man sat dejectedly in a corner, a pile of draft beer in front of him, as if he had something sad on his mind.
The bartender could tell from the burly man's appearance that he was about to drink too much, so he walked over before the man passed out.
"Sir, please settle the bill for the drinks first."
Money? What money?
The Prince of Asgard has never seen money before.
Stripped of his divine Thor waved his hands haphazardly, "Don't, don't bother me!"
"Sir, please settle your bill first."
"I told you not to bother me! Don't bother me!"
The bartender had seen all sorts of people in the bar, so he could easily see what Thor was up to.
Thor continued drinking, unaware that two burly men, even stronger than him, had suddenly appeared in front of him!
"What, what are you doing!?"
Before Thor could even react, he was grabbed by two burly men, dragged to the kitchen, and given a brutal beating!
Not satisfied with just beating him, they dragged him back to the front hall, onto the stage, and showed the patrons what happens when someone tries to dine Overlord. Then, they threw him out the door.
Smack!
Thor had a mouthful of mud on his face. He looked back at the bar entrance, tears welling up in his eyes. He looked utterly miserable!
Who would have known that just three days ago, he was Thor, the Son of Odin who conquered the Nine Realms?
"Is this the kind of good-for-nothing you're looking for?"
Suddenly, Thor heard someone speaking above him.
He looked up and saw an Asian man and a beautiful red-haired woman with long, wavy hair.
"You can't judge a book by its cover," Stephen Fang said, extending his hand to Thor.
"With wine, food, and beautiful women by your side, wanna come?"
Thor didn't take Stephen Fang's hand, but turned his head to the side and helped himself up.
He would rather starve to death than accept charity from others.
"Why is he ignoring us?" Black Widow asked, puzzled.
Stephen Fang added, "Maybe they're afraid of us."
Thor wasn't deaf. He had only taken two steps when he suddenly turned back. "Who said I wouldn't dare! Where are you going!"
"Just follow along."
In the warm room, Thor took a delightful bath.
He came out of the bathroom wrapped in a bath towel, and there was already a pile of fine wine and food laid out in the room.
Black Widow and Stephen Fang sat on the sofa, watching Thor walk in.
Stephen Fang picked up his glass. "Shall we drink first and then talk?"
Thor still looked wary. "Thank you for letting me take a shower, but I have to go now."
As he spoke, he turned his back to the two men and began to put on his clothes. Once he was dressed, he prepared to leave without saying goodbye.
He was about to pull the doorknob.
"Do!"
A shuriken shot into the door!
As a ninja, Stephen Fang, now wealthy, commissioned Tony Stark to make him some shuriken and Kunai.
The materials are even better than those used in the Uchiha Ninja Tool Shop.
After all, Stark Industries manufactures missiles.
Thor glanced at the "dart" next to his hand, then looked back at Stephen Fang.
"What do you want?! I won't say a single word about me!"
"It's very simple," Stephen Fang said in front of Black Widow. "Whatever you want to do, I won't interfere. All I can do is support you, and I'll help you until you pick up the hammer."
Upon hearing the word "hammer, "Thor became agitated. "How do you know about the hammer?! Are you from Asgard?"
"Don't worry about that."
Black Widow felt her nerves pounding; she thought she had heard some incredible information.
Stephen Fang patted Black Widow's black stockings, signaling her not to make any rash moves, then looked at Thor:
"I'm helping you, so of course I should repay you."
"No interest!" Thor said, pulling the door shut. "Go ahead and kill me if you dare!"
Hearing no sound behind him, Thor the door and left, slamming the suite door shut behind him.
"It seems your 'friend' isn't very easy to get along with," Black Widow commented.
"That's normal. If you suddenly found yourself in an unfamiliar place, surrounded by Clans you didn't know, you'd be on high alert, wouldn't you, Miss Agent?"
Black Widow didn't say anything, but awkwardly picked up the wine and took two sips.
As Thor walked down the street, the cold midnight wind seeped into his clothes and trouser legs, making him shiver.
Without his divine powers, Thor was no better than any random middle-aged man in America; he was just a big, dumb guy with absolutely no survival skills.
Just a minute after he left, Thor regretted it.
In such cold weather, in the middle of the night, where should he go, where should he stay, and what should he eat to fill his stomach?
Two voices arose within him.
'Go back, go back to drinking, eating, and sleeping in a warm bed.'
'Don't go back! Absolutely don't go back! What if those two are people who want to harm Asgard? Don't believe their lies!'
Just then, Stephen Fang appeared at the corner ahead.
"What I want is very simple, and you should be able to do it too."
Thor looked up into Stephen Fang's red eyes. "What do you want?"
"I want to learn Asgardian Magic."
"Asgardian Magic?" Thor was somewhat surprised; he never expected anyone to be interested in Asgardian Magic.
This is the "upgrade" route that "Fang Yu and his ilk" have been thinking about for a long time.
In Tony Stark's Iron Man storyline, there is a "Extremis Virus," a kind of magical substance that can change one's bloodline. After injection, it can enhance the body's healing ability, even allowing severed arms to regenerate. It is even more abnormal and unreasonable than the Strength of a Hundred Seal.
Thor's storyline also includes elements of Asgard magic.
Whichever one they acquire, it will be a qualitative improvement for the existing "Fang Yu".
Take, for example, Asgardian Magic.
It is a surreal magical composite that integrates Mind Stone, Astral Projection, molecular rearrangement, energy explosion, teleportation, illusion creation, shapeshifting, flight, and hypnosis. Some of its spells are even more advanced than Ninjutsu and can turn the tide of battle.
Thor conquered the Nine Realms with the Mjolnir given to him by Odin.
Loki, the adopted son, became the God of Mischief by learning Asgardian Magic without borrowing a single penny from Odin.
"I assure you that I am only learning Asgardian Magic for self-defense and will not do anything detrimental to Asgard."
"Of course, so what if I learn Asgardian Magic? I'm just an ordinary human on Midgard (Earth). Even if I had the opportunity to learn Asgardian Magic, how much trouble could I cause? So many people in Asgard learn Asgardian Magic, but how many of them can pose a threat to Asgard?"
"Besides, I'm just an ordinary person, and it's still unknown whether I can learn it or not. But don't worry, I won't cheat you even if I can't learn it."
Thor looked clearly hesitant as he turned to Stephen Fang. "So what exactly can you offer me?"
Stephen Fang smiled and held up two fingers.
"I'll take you to lift the hammer."
He then pulled a can of beer from his pocket. "I've got plenty of beer!"
"Make a deal!"
