"Wasn't I drinking? How did I end up here?" Tianying rubbed his head. Everything before his eyes was gray and hazy. A light rain fell outside the window, pattering against the roof tiles. As his thoughts wandered, a stream of memories flooded his mind.
"Ah... my head hurts so much... ah..."
It took half an hour for Tianying to slowly recover. He lay sprawled on the tatami like a dying fish, his trembling lips opening and closing.
"This is actually the world of Naruto!!"
Tianying muttered weakly to himself.
He looked at his shrunken hands. "Sigh... what a shame, these soft little hands of mine."
He sighed. "Sigh... how many days can I survive in this world? Is this the legendary one-day tour of Naruto?"
The more Tianying thought about it, the more his head ached.
"Being reborn into a major clan would've been fine, but I just had to be born a commoner. Without anyone backing me, I'm destined to be cannon fodder. Sigh... what am I supposed to do?!"
Just as he was at his wits' end, a beep rang out in his mind. Downloading data... 10%... 50%... 90%... 100%. Data downloaded successfully. Then a futuristic blue screen appeared in Tianying's mind. As he read its contents, his eyes widened slightly, his nostrils flared, and great blasts of hot air shot out of his nose. Choose either the Dragon Balls shop or the One Piece shop.
"Oh, this is such a dilemma. You're really putting me on the spot. It's so hard to decide. I choose the Dragon Ball shop."
The system looked utterly exasperated. "You made your choice in less than a second. What the hell were you agonizing over?"
After a burst of synthesized speech, the Dragon Ball shop appeared in his mind.
Tianying looked over it. The layout was simple, divided into several main categories: items, bloodlines, techniques, and Dragon Balls.
Tianying opened the items tab. Good grief!! A dazzling array of items filled it: Senzu Beans, spaceships, liquid healing chambers, power level scouters, Battle Suits, the Power Pole, Hoi-Poi Capsules, the Flying Nimbus, gravity training rooms, planes, cannons, warships, and many, many other technological products from the Dragon Ball world.
Tianying drooled all over the floor at the sight. His head no longer hurt, he had stopped sighing, and his spirits had improved. He was practically ready to dash up Hokage Rock in one breath. Wiping the corner of his mouth, he excitedly opened the bloodlines tab. What he saw made him feel as though he were flying.
Inside were the Human bloodline, the Android bloodline (an upgraded version of the Human bloodline), the Saiyan bloodline, the Frieza Race bloodline (Frieza's bloodline), the Majin bloodline (Majin Buu), and the God bloodline (Supreme Kai, God of Destruction, Grand Minister, Zeno). Seeing stars, he rolled around on the floor in bliss.
"I'm so happy, so happy..."
With blood trickling from his nose, he opened the third tab, techniques. He cried out in amazement: Kamehameha, Instant Transmission, Spirit Bomb, Solar Flare, Destructo Disc, Flight Technique, Fusion Technique, Kaioken, and more...
Tianying, hold it together. You won't get carried away over these little things. With difficulty, he opened the final tab, Dragon Balls. I can't control myself anymore. "Hey, hey, you idiot, could you check the prices before you sing? Are you trying to infuriate me to death? You're the worst host I've had in this batch."
Tianying gave an embarrassed cough and continued down to the prices. Exchange points? Senzu Beans cost fifty thousand exchange points each, spaceships thirty thousand, liquid healing chambers forty thousand, power level scouters one thousand, Battle Suits five thousand, the Power Pole eighty thousand, Hoi-Poi Capsules two thousand, gravity rooms ten thousand, and the Flying Nimbus twenty thousand...
The human bloodline cost ten thousand exchange points, Android one million, Saiyan ten million, Frieza Race twenty million, Majin Race fifty million, and God Race at least five hundred million.
The training method for Kamehameha cost three hundred thousand exchange points, the training method for Instant Transmission one million, the training method for Spirit Pill five hundred thousand, the training method for Solar Flare fifty thousand, the training method for Destructo Disc eighty thousand, the training method for Flight Technique thirty thousand, the training method for Fusion Technique seven hundred thousand, and Kaioken two hundred thousand.
The Earth Dragon Balls cost one hundred million per use, and the Namekian Dragon Balls three hundred million per use. As for the Universe's Ultimate Dragon Ball-ones, tens, hundreds, thousands, ten thousands, hundred thousands, millions, ten millions, hundred millions, billions, ten billions, hundred billions... I can't. I'm not counting anymore. There are too many zeroes. He gave up before counting even a third of them. Looks like I really am the worst host in this batch.
Tianying sat on his heels on the tatami. The rain still fell outside, and thunder occasionally streaked across the night sky, the lightning illuminating his young face. He stared blankly at the ceiling, looking utterly witless.
"I want so badly to escape, but I can't."
He forced himself to rally and asked, "How do I get exchange points?"
The system said, "There are two ways. One is through missions issued by the system, which award corresponding exchange points according to their difficulty. The other is through your own training. Work hard, young man."
"You won't have any friends acting like that," Tianying said.
As Tianying grumbled inwardly, he suddenly spotted a right-pointing arrow at the edge of the frame. He pressed it instinctively, and the screen changed, actually taking him to the One Piece shop. Several gray words appeared on it, marking four options: Navy 6 Styles, Devil Fruits, Haki, and weapons. He tried clicking into them for a look, but it did not work.
The system said, "The One Piece shop has not been activated. As long as you have enough exchange points, opening the One Piece shop won't be just a dream."
"But you won't be able to open it for a long time. Even after you open it, the system will distribute items to you at random. What you get will depend on your luck, kid."
"All right!" Tianying returned to the Dragon Ball screen. Forcing himself to rally, he patted his face, rubbed it a few times, and pinched his thigh for good measure to confirm that this was not a dream.

His predecessor's name was Itō Yuying.
"Since I've taken over your body, I'll be you from now on. I'll live a good life for you and help take care of your grandfather. Starting today, my name is Itō Yuying."
A ding sounded. "Congratulations, host. The system update is complete. You have a beginner's gift pack. Would you like to open it?" Itō Yuying froze, then immediately reacted. "Open it."
"Ding! Congratulations, host. You have received five Senzu Beans and a training method for 'ki.'"
"Wow, Senzu Beans! Those are lifesavers. As long as you have a breath left, no matter how serious your injuries, you can instantly recover to full health, except for illnesses. Most importantly, they keep you full! You don't need to eat for ten days. With a training method for ki, I can work on the Flight Technique and energy attacks without going to the trouble of spending exchange points on training methods. Haha, I've struck it rich!"
