Lilith curled up wearily in Kakarot's arms, her frail appearance making his heart ache.
His eyes were full of concern as he said softly, "Thank you for your hard work, Lilith."
Lilith managed a faint smile, her voice tinged with weakness. "I'm fine, big brother."
Kakarot gently suggested, "Lilith, get some rest first! We'll let them out once you've recovered."
Lilith nodded softly in Kakarot's arms, resting her head against his chest. Listening to his steady heartbeat, she felt as though she had found someone to lean on.
Although Lilith could draw on the Spatial Power stored in her Spatial Ring to use her spatial abilities and reduce the drain on her stamina,
she frowned slightly, annoyed at her earlier oversight. If she hadn't forgotten about that, she wouldn't have exhausted herself.
Still, this is nice too. I can have my brother hold me a little longer, Lilith thought.
"Big brother, let's rest here for a while!"
Lilith wheedled from Kakarot's arms, her voice soft and sweet, with a hint of dependence.
Naturally, Kakarot wouldn't refuse. He took a large lounge chair out of his Spatial Ring, followed by a table and some food.
He wanted Lilith to lie down properly on the lounge chair and rest, but Lilith tilted her head up slightly,
her bright eyes now veiled by a faint layer of fatigue, yet filled with dependence on Kakarot.
Her voice was gentle, with a hint of coaxing. "Big brother, I still want you to hold me!"
As the words left her lips, her voice unconsciously rose a little at the end, as though she were pleading, or asking for the warmth and security that belonged to her alone.
Looking at Lilith's delicate, frail appearance, Kakarot was filled with tenderness.
After all, she had exhausted herself helping out.
