How could two points be brought infinitely close? By folding the line segment and merging its two endpoints into one, one could naturally occupy both positions at once!
That was it! Mastering Spatial Laws was simply a matter of distorting space to merge any two points. The greater one's ability, the greater the expanse of space one could distort, allowing one to shift freely across an even wider area.
Presumably, at the ultimate extreme, even merging great worlds would not be impossible. That step was simply far too distant, but the principle was the same.
