A sea of Origin Power flames surged with tremendous force, seemingly possessed of intelligence as it singled out the Night Owls to engulf. Before it even reached them, the down of two Night Owls was already burning, the flesh beneath their black, iron-armored wings glowing red as they let out wretched shrieks of searing pain.
"You've gone too far!"
A low voice rang out. A tree with an enormous crown shook, extending countless thick roots. Like a clenched fist opening, they sprayed countless streams of clear water, forming a curtain laced with a network of roots that enveloped Mu Bai's sea of Origin Power flames.
"I'll give you one chance to leave..."
The Tree Demon Giant spoke slowly, his voice low.
"Shut up!"
With a beat of his wings, Mu Bai soared skyward, abruptly growing to a thousand feet tall. He reached out, a huge spear of golden Origin Power forming in his hand, and plunged it into the crown. With a thunderous crash, the immense tree's vitality slowly withdrew, exposing a huge, rough, rotting trunk that split apart.
"You two can meet your end as well!"
Two Broad-Winged Giants flew high into the sky and thrust their spears at Mu Bai together. Gritting his teeth, Mu Bai shouted and swung his sword with one arm. White light flashed, and the two Broad-Winged Giants' charging assault stopped dead. Two enormous heads fell to the ground with heavy thuds.
"I was wrong, but I need you to die. I was wrong!"
