Arc 1Pear Blossom and Vengeance
Mu Bai became an alchemist, survived the destruction of the Haibei Tribe, and grew stronger in the Silver Frost Forest while pursuing a new cultivation path. The arc left him poisoned and traveling toward the Spirit Taming Sect, while Ling'er and Mi Yan began working at the Taiyuan Merchant Guild in Ximu City.
- Hai Ya awakened Mu Bai’s unusual soul at the cost of his essence blood, and Mu Bai later engraved a pear blossom Soul Mark and chose to become an alchemist.
- Mu Bai learned alchemy from the Supreme Cauldron, refined pills for his tribe, and Hai Ya risked his life to bring back a book of medicinal knowledge and a cure for his poisoning.
- Mu Bai and Hai Chen obtained dragon saliva grass from a Black-Horned Python, allowing Mu Bai to refine a Dragon-Awakening Pill that helped save Hai Ya.
- Mu Bai joined the Haibei Tribe’s contestants at White Wolf City, where the deadly competition and Mu Bai’s secret identity as an alchemist led Hai Ya to send Mu Bai and Ling'er into hiding.
- Mi Yan rescued Mu Bai and Ling'er, then told them the Eastern Nether Tribe had destroyed the Haibei Tribe, and Mu Bai buried his people and set out alone to seek revenge.
- Mu Bai trained in the Silver Frost Forest, subdued a golden eagle, discovered the Flying Immortal Scripture, and reached the second tier while engraving the Three-Legged Divine Crow mark.
- Mu Bai explored an abandoned tribe beneath a pool, gained the ability to move through water, and later received a protective Hemp Robe from a silver-haired old woman before returning to the forest.
- Qing Mao of the Spirit Taming Sect gave Mu Bai a brocade box and poisoned him with a Hundred-Day Bone-Shattering Pill, forcing Mu Bai to travel west with Golden Roc to seek an antidote.
- Ling'er and Mi Yan arrived in Ximu City to manage the Taiyuan Merchant Guild’s Peony Pavilion, while Mi Yan worried about Ling'er’s future and wondered how Mu Bai was doing.
