"Break... for me!"

Veins bulged on Lorne's forehead as a beastlike roar tore from his throat.

Rumble!

The Grit he had built to its limit erupted completely in that instant.

A dark-gold shock wave blasted outward in a fan, reducing everything before it to dust.

Garp grunted as the Haki protecting his body shattered layer by layer.

The tremendous force sent his body flying like a cannonball.

Boom, boom, boom!

Garp smashed through five rocky hills in succession before crashing deep into a dense forest.

His passage plowed a massive trench several meters deep and hundreds of meters long into the ground.

Lorne stood where he was, his right arm trembling violently, dark-red blood dripping from his fingertips.

He gasped for breath, his chest heaving, the golden aura around his body already gone.

"Hah... hah..."

Lorne lowered his head to look at his right fist. The skin had split completely, even exposing stark white bone.

"It worked."

Violent coughing rang out from deep within the wreckage.

"Cough... cough, cough!"

Garp crawled out of the rubble covered in dust and grime, the cloak that symbolized justice long since reduced to strips of cloth.

He wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth and stared at the bright red on his fingertips, his gaze impossibly complicated.

"Old man, are you all right?"

Lorne braced himself against a broken stone pillar, his voice a little hoarse.

Garp froze for a moment, then suddenly burst into laughter.

"Wahahahaha!"

"Wahahahaha!"

His thunderous laughter shook the entire island.

Garp strode back, brushing the dust off himself as he walked.

"You little brat, that punch of yours nearly took these old bones apart!"

Garp stopped in front of Lorne and planted his large hand heavily on his shoulder.
