Saint Uranos screamed in terror as he watched Lorne advance, scrambling backward on his hands and feet.
"Stay away! I'm a noble Celestial Dragon! You lowly scum from the world below!" he howled, waving his hands frantically.
Without expression, Lorne raised his foot and stomped straight through Saint Uranos's ornate golden armor.
Crack!
The sound of shattering bones echoed through the Power Room, and Saint Uranos's screams cut off abruptly.
Lorne withdrew his foot and scraped the blood off his sole against the nearby alloy floor in disgust.
"So much bullshit. Did you really think Celestial Dragon blood was golden? Stomping on you was no different from stomping on mud." Lorne stared coldly at the corpse on the floor.
The Power Room door swung open, and Ryan and Denjiro hurried inside.
"Lorne, couldn't you have held back a little? At least leave someone alive for us to question!" Ryan looked at the corpse on the floor and sighed helplessly.
"The bastard talked too much. It was annoying, and there was nothing in his head but arrogance. Keeping him alive would've been a waste of air." Lorne pointed at the enormous power core.
"This fortress is about to crash. What are you planning to do?" Ryan asked, pointing at the red lights flashing all around them, his tone somewhat anxious.
"That's your problem. I've already dealt with the strongest guy." Lorne dusted off his hands and headed for the door.
"Huh? What the fuck did you say? You're dumping the mess on us again?!" Ryan's eyes widened, veins bulging on his forehead.
"Ryan, Denjiro, I'll leave the cleanup here to you. I trust you to handle it efficiently." Lorne waved without looking back.
"Hey! Get back here! You hands-off bastard! If you're so capable, don't run off after the fighting!" Ryan
