Akainu stood amid billowing waves of heat, thick black smoke coiling around his arms, and shouted in a deep voice.
"Garp! Stand down!"
"I don't care what filthy deal you made with that Lorne, but you betrayed the Marines' justice. That's a fact!"
Bogard's right hand instantly closed around his sword hilt, and the twenty elite Marine guards behind him pulled back their rifle bolts in unison.
"Protect Vice Admiral Garp!"
Kizaru tilted his head, a dazzling golden laser lighting up at his fingertip.
"I suggest you young Marines stay right where you are."
"Under the World Government's highest extermination order, drawing your swords makes you guilty by association, punishable by death."
Garp turned around, his massive frame like a towering mountain, his black-and-white hair whipping wildly in the sea breeze.
"Sakazuki. Borsalino."
Garp swept his gaze over the two Admirals, his voice low and weighty.
"When I was catching pirates out at sea, you two brats were still shooting targets at Headquarters' military academy."
"Now that you're wearing Admirals' coats, you can't wait to turn your guns on your own comrades?"
Veins bulged on Akainu's forehead, and his right arm instantly transformed into a scorching giant fist of magma.
"Justice tolerates no stain!"
"Whether it's one of the Four Emperors or a Marine hero, anyone who stands against order will be utterly purified by my magma!"
Akainu shattered the ground beneath his foot and turned into a raging wave of fire, charging straight at the deck.
"Great Eruption!"
The enormous magma fist tore through the air, smashing toward Garp's face with heat that could incinerate everything.
Garp stood unmoving. His right hand abruptly clenched into a fist, pitch-black Armament Haki instantly hardening over it as arcs of Conqueror's Haki crackled wildly across his knuckles.
"Don't get too arrogant, brat!"
