The scar-covered hand abruptly clenched, and the specially made Seastone key gave a crisp metallic clink in its palm.
"The Holy Knights have given their orders. As long as you tear that arrogant brat apart here, you can truly leave this living coffin."
The black-robed agent standing outside the cell lowered his voice, his body trembling uncontrollably with fear.
"Lorne? That brat out there who's turned the whole sea upside down?"
The burly giant lurking in the shadows of the cell raised his head, a bloodthirsty gleam showing through his tangled gray-white hair.
"Decades ago, at the battle of God Valley, Captain Rocks died in bitter defeat, and I was locked in this godforsaken place for a full thirty-eight years!"
The giant slowly rose, dragging his thick Seastone chains with a clatter.
"That old bastard Garp threw me in here with his own hands back then. Who would've thought the World Government's lapdogs would actually bring me a key? What a magnificent irony!"
The giant let out a shrill, savage laugh, the crisscrossing blade scars on his cheeks twisting violently with it.
"Voland, shut your filthy mouth!"
In the neighboring cell, Garp abruptly opened his eyes as he sat cross-legged in icy water.
"That boy Lorne is a monster you can't afford to provoke. Take your key and crawl back into your kennel to cling to life. You might live a few more years."
Garp raised a hand and shook the chains on his body, his expression stern.
"Garp, you're nothing but a toothless stray now. What right do you have to bark at me?"
The pirate from a bygone era called Voland spat out a mouthful of bloody foam and shoved the key straight into the heavy Seastone lock on his body.
