Kirishima Bupai left his family to seek strength, helped Tanjiro through training and Final Selection, and was named the Corps’ tenth Hashira. His first assignment took him to Suzuran Town, where he confronted a cult by forcing its followers to rebuild their settlement and ended the stretch by cooking them a meal laced with wisteria.

• Kirishima Bupai escaped his family, killed Lower Rank Two, and joined Tanjiro, Nezuko, and Sakonji Urokodaki on the journey to Mount Sagiri.
• Kirishima Bupai helped Tanjiro improve his strength and breathing, then joined him in Final Selection and hunted demons across Mount Fujikasane.
• Kirishima Bupai rescued Zenitsu, Genya, Kanao, Tanjiro, and other candidates, killing the Hand Demon and helping nearly every participant survive the trial.
• Kirishima Bupai was promoted directly to Hashira, then defeated Tengen Uzui, Kyojuro Rengoku, and Sanemi Shinazugawa in a sparring match to prove his strength.

Kirishima Bupai dismantled the Eternal Paradise Cult, then intervened in the Mount Natagumo battle and helped Rui recover his memories before he died. At headquarters, Nezuko resisted Sanemi’s blood, and Kagaya placed her and Tanjiro under observation as special members of the Demon Slayer Corps.

• Kirishima Bupai exposed the Eternal Paradise Cult’s demonic leaders, forced them and the villagers to work, and left Suzuran Town after the demons turned to ash.
• Kirishima Bupai reported the cult to Kagaya Ubuyashiki, then joined Shinobu Kocho on Mount Natagumo and rescued Corps members trapped in cocoons.
• Kirishima Bupai defeated the Spider Demon attacking Inosuke Hashibira and left Inosuke baffled with a trick about counting chocolates.
• Kirishima Bupai intervened in Tanjiro and Nezuko’s fight with Rui, defeated Rui, and helped him remember how Muzan Kibutsuji had separated him from his parents.
• Rui died by throwing himself onto a Nichirin Blade, and Shinobu Kocho killed the female demon before pursuing Tanjiro and Nezuko.
• Kirishima Bupai stopped Shinobu from catching Tanjiro and Nezuko, and Inosuke and Kanao Tsuyuri clashed until a Kasugai Crow ordered everyone to bring the siblings to headquarters alive.
• At the Hashira Meeting, Sanemi Shinazugawa tested Nezuko with his blood, but she resisted its scent and retreated into her box.
• Kagaya Ubuyashiki halted Sanemi’s attack, accepted Kirishima Bupai’s support for Nezuko, and placed Tanjiro and Nezuko under observation as special members of the Demon Slayer Corps.

Kirishima Bupai investigated the disappearances around the Mugen Train and joined Tanjiro and the others in fighting Enmu and Crossing Dream. After the trains were stopped, he confronted Akaza, helped restore Hakuji’s memories, and killed him before turning back to the rescue site.

• Kirishima Bupai learned that Inspector Inoue’s arrests and the wanted posters were connected to missing Demon Slayers, then infiltrated the Mugen Train depot and killed Ripper by crushing him under a locomotive.
• At Central Station, Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke were trapped in nightmares as Enmu’s flesh-covered trains attacked the city, while Crossing Dream controlled the station’s deadly dream network.
• Nezuko woke Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke from their nightmares, and Tanjiro injured Crossing Dream’s giant eye as the demon sent sleeping civilians to attack them.
• Kirishima Bupai killed Crossing Dream, while Kyojuro Rengoku and the other Demon Slayers stopped Enmu’s trains and rescued the passengers.
• Akaza arrived at Central Station and challenged Kirishima Bupai, who rejected his offer to become a demon and reminded him of his past as Hakuji.
• The fireworks stirred Hakuji’s memories of Koyuki, and he resisted Muzan’s control before Kirishima Bupai killed him with the Bright Red Blade and turned toward the rescue site.

Kirishima Bupai recovered after Akaza’s defeat, joined the Yoshiwara investigation, and used Yamato to destroy Gyutaro and Daki along with northern Yoshiwara. He then traveled to the Swordsmith Village, where Gyokko’s creatures appeared and a fleeing child asked him for help.

• Mr. Kirishima ordered the station disaster covered up as an electrical accident, Matsumoto killed the Police Superintendent, and the captured Corps members returned safely.
• Kirishima Bupai recovered at the Butterfly Mansion before Kagaya Ubuyashiki sent him to help Tengen Uzui investigate disappearances in Yoshiwara.
• Kirishima Bupai hunted demons in Yoshiwara, accumulated 3,500 points, and redeemed Yamato.
• Kirishima Bupai arranged the evacuation of northern Yoshiwara, then intervened when Daki overwhelmed Tanjiro and Inosuke.
• Kirishima Bupai dismembered Daki, forced Gyutaro to emerge, and defeated him while confronting the siblings about their victims.
• Kirishima Bupai activated Yamato’s cutting and separation power and erased Gyutaro, Daki, and northern Yoshiwara.
• Kakushi recovered Tanjiro, Inosuke, Tengen Uzui, and his three wives, and Tanjiro and Inosuke were sent toward the Swordsmith Village after treatment.
