Kaido, the man hailed as the "World's Strongest Creature," lounged in the seat of honor. He held an enormous sake gourd in one hand, pouring strong liquor into his mouth, while his other hand held the latest newspaper, which he read with relish.
Below him, the officers of the Beasts Pirates-the All-Stars, the Tobi Roppo, and countless bands of Gifters and Headliners-were drinking and carousing wildly.
"King! Look at this!" Kaido burst into hearty laughter and handed the newspaper to the man beside him, who wore a black robe embroidered with red clouds. "This paper says this fellow called Pero has been hunting down good food everywhere so he can pick a suitable kitchen for himself once he rules the world!"
"Wororororo... That's hilarious!"
At this, King the Conflagration merely cast a cold glance at the enormous headline in the newspaper-[Pirate named Pero, with an eight-billion bounty, frequently spotted at dining establishments, possibly choosing a kitchen for after his conquest of the world].
He said nothing, merely refilling Kaido's drink in silence.
"The way I see it," Kaido said, guided by his instincts, "this fellow doesn't want to rule the world at all. Once a powerful man reaches the top of the world, all he pursues is often nothing more than his own little boring hobbies."
"This fellow is probably just traveling the world looking for good food."
As Kaido spoke, he drained his cup, a smile full of fighting spirit spreading across his face.
"Still, anyone who could finish off that bastard Sakazuki in an instant... has to be strong!"
"Wororororo... I'd love to have a proper fight with him!"
